This video actually brought tears to my eyes, especially knowing that only 2 days ago he lifted the Wimbledon trophy having beaten Djokovic 🎉❤ I am so happy for him. What a wonderful player and special person he is. Congratulations Carlos you are amazing.
Very rarely does a perfect combination of humility, raw talent and determination come together to produce an athletic wunderkind. Rafa was one and now Carlos is obviously the new generation's wunderkind. Ironclad mentality, gracious, humble demeanor and the talent to break every record that he sets out to break. This kid is the future of tennis, an inspiration to millions of kids around the world, the next tennis icon in the making, and a player already familiar enough as an international household name as to be known simply by his first name as 'Carlitos.' This is the stuff childhood dreams are made of, folks. Live long and prosper, young man! The world is yours.
Great analysis of a young player. I really hope he does stay humble and “simple.” It’ll make him a better person,in the end. Juan Carlos has stayed the same
Both his dreams (grand slam win and world number 1) fulfilled today. Just stay out of glamor, and many more records will tumble. Good wishes to Carlos and congrats to his mentor nurturing him to this moment.
Coming to see this series now that he IS NO.1 in the world! Amazing! So happy to see the new generations delivering at the highest level, Tennis is in very good hands with him and all the other youngs!
I hope he never changes who he is. His humility and charisma combined with his incredible tennis capabilities and hard work, are why people are attracted to him. Vamos Carlitos!
Alcaraz has a great team coupled with great skills, mental strength, discipline, attitude and humility. He will be a great player sooner than we expect.
Watched him play once and I knew he was exceptional - same with my first impression of Novak Djokovic when I first watched him play in a Grand Slam event before he started winning.
Juan Carlos has a good eye for talent. 2022, he is now world no. 1 at just 19. He will have no Federer, Nadal or Djokovic for most of his career. I think he will break records.
Amazing to know that we have found the next tennis sensation :) Alcaraz is just wow :)… his determination and focus is extraordinary. Humble , being the same but growing up :).. emotional maturity obviously is outstanding at his age 19 years , teen . I am a new fan of Carlos who is an avid fan of Roger.
He is just a special kid..I don’t know his future but for now he’s an awesome and amazing kid and a fantastic tennis player I have ever seen. He is so entertaining…..
I have been telling a friend about carlos when chilling catching on sport players like tennis that he will be trouble In coming years and he win those major trophy here he becomes a champion and I like his fighting spirit 💪🏿
Tu es le meilleur ! on perçoit toute l'admiration de ton entraineur comme un père qui sait où il t'emmène. Ta simplicité, ton courage et ton talent honorent le monde du tennis !
All i know is we have a very unique and lovable star to enjoy in Carlos. He has brought dazzling beauty and strength back to the sport. May he continue to flourish.
Thanks for video. How inspiring! This is what I want to see: how he trains, how he lives, how he eats, etc. I'm a big fan or Carlos (and Rafa too). Now I understand why Pablo Carreño was supporting him in his matches at the tournament in Cincinnati.
Imagine being Zverev, hailed as the future of our sport and one by one another comes along to take it from him lol. Chung, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Sinner and now Alcaraz.
Wait why Medvedev, this guy already won a Grand Slam, lost 3 finals in Gs, many Masters, the Atp Finals, got to number 1, he is number 2 and a potential favourite to win in hard courts, Medvedev fulfilled what he had to do. Zverev as well is just going through a tough moment outside of the court, and you can see he isnt playing his best and still got to the quarter finals
@@zorcnecro6910 Why Medvedev? Cos in 2016 Zverev was being hailed as the future, the next #1, then slowly all these other players turned up and surpassed him or made this future 10x more difficult. Like Medvedev.
I think what separates Carlos from all the others is his work ethic. There are other players with more physical potential/gifts (for example, taller), but Carlos is willing to outwork them all. Remember: before there was Alcaraz, Juan Carlos Ferrero actually started his pro coaching career working with Zverev in 2017. Zverev was given the gift of height (6'6"!), so it would seem like a match made in heaven. But JC & Zverev lasted only 8 months before they parted ways. Zverev lacked the work ethic required: he arrived late to practices, wouldn't put in the long hours, preferred social media to time spent grinding on the court. Carlos trusts the process, trusts the path to greatness that JC has structured for him, & so when JC says work...Carlos works. And works. And works. And now, Carlos & JC reap the benefits. They have a great relationship, they have a path forward that includes more improvements in skills, mental toughness etc, they have victories, a Grand Slam, #1 ranking, multimillion dollar sponsorship deals. And where is Zverev?
Amazing to see how it all started, first of all congratulations to the coach, down to earth looking man and a wonderful role model for the young talent without being pushy or bossy 😮❤❤❤, Carlitos got into the right hands, he looked, listened and saw and he is still doing that 😢, May Carlitos not forget his humble beginnings, may he never forget his roots 🙏, he has accomplished soo much already and still talking about wanting to get better and better after each trophy 🏆, yeah, i believe in the saying that the sky is the limit, will keep watching young man, all of the best ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🙏🎊🎊🎊💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥
Very nice video,A video from a long time ago that agrees with the whole team, they have achieved number one in the world and tennis at the highest level, the Juan Carlos Ferrero academy knows the way to achieve it, work, effort, dedication, psychology, and passion ,good job!!!
Carlos is an amazing talent. Im soi happy after all his hard work he went on to become world number 1 and so far as well as other tournaments has won the us open and then he beat and dethroned Novak Djokovic who had ruled Wimbledon for years
Thank you for giving us a glimpse of what it takes to be a champion -- incredible talent and great coaching. Rafa was incredibly gracious in his remarks. Alcaraz has made tennis fun again.
I don't know anything about tennis but my 2 year old son loves watching it. Trying to learn more since he might get into as he gets older. This was a very well produced video and it's clear that Carlos' team is prepping him for a long career and not just one as a young superstar.
Great content! Carlos looks like a very well grounded young man, surrounded by good people, wish him success and to always stay humble - 2 very difficult qualities to balance, VAMOS!
As the saying goes, you’re as good as your last performance so don’t stop learning. Carlos has all the right and good people around him. His coach doesn’t only coach him and also mentor him not only to be the best player but also teach him life lessons and keep grounded. It’s good he told him that the people around him since he started are same people who’s with him theuthick and thin...
Oh, Carlos always makes me doubt/ask questions -- he seems to be such a humble, kind, childish (in a good way) guy but at the same time, very mature, focused, strategic, and aggressively competitive... I wish him all the best! I'm very interested in seeing him after 10-12 years from now... I wanna see how consistent he's gonna be... bc I remember RF said that at the beginning, it was all fun for him as he LOVED beating top players/legends/idols, it was all about enjoying tennis... then with time, expectations come...
Excellent document who maybe explain a little what it was so suffering for Carlos to lost a match 18 years old he enters… In this real life adult … this dreams still realize 2 years later ok be number one ok Wimbledon ok Roland Garros ok .. and so on !! could him thinks what’s happens when he says I want to ….

"He knows that he has to grow his game, his path, his tournaments,
and if he wins he wins. If not, it's life." Juan Carlos Ferrero
That smile is worth millions.

I love what you wrote. He came to save Tennis. He is a gift.
Took less than 3.5 months from when this video was released to when he became #1 in the world. Beyond incredible.
