CarPlay isn’t needed. You have just as much functionality with the google system. I’d rather have the integrated google maps that locate EV chargers. It’s really not that big of deal, you’ll be fine. 😊
I like CarPlay but if I can get my podcasts and Spotify, I'll be fine without it, as long as the maps work. They should, since it's Google. One can understand why Rivian, Tesla and GM don't want Apple siphoning off their data and revenue.
One of my friend is getting one, I know it will be AWD but I'm not sure what exact trim. It will be replacing his 2017 Acura MDX. I have the 2024 Ioniq 6 Ultimate since April, he was in the process of getting one because he loves the look of of my car but he changed his mind when he thought about having less cargo space than his Acura. Your reviews and videos are great, carry on. I'm already subbed.
Looks like shi.t. Simply ugly with the dumb tail lites and multi part dark front grill. It really sucks. GM designers should be fired. BMW, Volvo, Mercedes designers are tops.

GMs decision to rid themselves of CarPlay is a horrible one. It’s the same reason I’m not compelled for Tesla or Rivian.
Tesla system still has apple music and is pretty good to use overall. GM reminds me of a android tablet from 2012
