About AC2... I've been playing now AC F1 Championship mods for WEEKS. It literally took me weeks to get everything set up properly first through the json files. I'm not talking about getting the mods to work BUT to make the AI grid clocking realistic qualifying times and all that. I have 1986, 1991, 2002 and 2022 seasons. I tweaked the values endlessly and tried to learn how the championship system works. I think I figured it out and managed to create AI drivers' skills quite well to match my (poor) sim racing abilities. Played three full seasons (all races) and I've been enjoying it so much. Best gaming experience I ever had. Was it worth the hassle? YES. For me, but not for the average player. It's not just about setting things up to make it work, I also want REALISTIC results. That was the hardest part. Anyway, I hate all kinds of GT7 type modes where you have to go to the cafe and chat with someone, then successfully graduate from Lada and Kia stages to BMW/Audi stages. I don't need any of that garbage. I played GT7 through and the actual driving is not bad at all and the physics aren't bad, it's just all those tasks and mandatory "campaigns" and "licenses" you have to get before you get the tracks. Awful. Proper sim should not have ANY gimmicks. Just all cars available like in vanilla AC and pure driving. However, career modes are nice extra but they should not be mandatory, EVER. They should not be the integral part of the game. CHAMPIONSHIP, however should be. Now the current AC Championship mode is very, very basic. It's ok and works. Details are easily adjustable through Notepad. That is excellent. I don't really need all the podium animations and that Codemasters/EA stuff. I just need PROPER statistics from each race. Preferably something that you can easily export to PDF files. I want proper replays in the Championship menu where you can go back and watch the highlights of the races (and also save them directly from the championship menus). AC is almost perfect. AI, however, is not. It's not much better than Codemasters /EA games. It's ok in the races and the aggressive position defending forces you to REALLY be cautious where you do the overtaking. But it just knocks you out too easily in qualifying, especially when the ai drivers are on their slow qualifying lap. I hope AC2 will be easily moddable as possible and let these talented, passionate people take care of the rest. Summary: What works in a simcade/arcade game don't necessarily belong to a pure driving simulator. Even imagining a story mode on AC (like a woman driver wants to become a F1 star like on some EA game) makes me shiver. LOL. Please no gimmicks. :)
By far AC2 is the one I’m most excited about. ACC is incredible, if they can achieve that quality with a wider variety of cars and tracks, then it’s going to be special.

Funfact: The Test Drive Unlimeted games new version is the Crew series! But the Solar Crown is not the original TDU game, just the name and the overall conception is same. So when you want play TDU, just buy the The Crew Motorfest...really amazing game, It's more like the older immersive games and this is a great game to play with steering wheel, this is the absolutly next gen arcade car game. And i think...Solar Crown is a very old and really same conception like old one and also looking bad....

Worst thing about Forza is 60fps cap on PC for multiplayer. Wtf would turn 10 think that's a good idea. And the lack of vr support is the reason I haven't bought it.

However, absolutely nothing grates my ear like every single english speaking person saying “nahbahring” as if there were not two *distincly* different vowels in Nürburg. 😅
The fact the new Forza didnt have VR support is just a massive L. In classic turn 10 fashion they take way too much time making the game look pretty and not actually be any better
8:02 Um no it takes nothing from Horizon as TDU was the basis for that Franchise in the first place, all what you described is what TDU 1 and 2 did, 2 did it even further with used instead of showroom cars being your starter. I'm not sold on TDU SC just yet though.
Can't deny I'm a bit disappointed to know that the next WRC game is not a pure rally simulator like RBR was, because I'm ready for something other than another sim-cade experience. I enjoy DiRT Rally 2.0, but mostly because the VR mode is really good, or at least on my Quest 3 it is.
Very interesting (and exciting) to see a Test Drive Unlimited title in this lineup. I played the crap out of TDU1, and I was even a beta tester on TDU2, although that didn't end up being the product it should have been, unfortunately.
The only thing I want is a proper racing sim for manual driven cars of the 80´s and 90´s with exquisite FFB and sound. And I want to host my own sessions with my buddys.
👍 Good stuff! Do you guys know if Logitech will release a new and up to date gearshift box and handbrake for the Logitech playseat for the DD pro wheel and pro pedals?
Did i hear that EA WRC doesnt have triple monitor support?!? Hopefully thats not the case. Im building my new sim rig currently and just purchased 3 Alienware 34" OLEDs. In 2023 support for triple monitors in a sim racing title should be standard. Cool video guys!
No I hear it has true triple monitor support. They reiterated that it will be a geometrically true triple screen after backlash from it not being geometrically true
AC2 has a chance to become *THE* sim racing game. Will be goated if they take the the FFB from OG AC, add a quality multiplayer system with rating and a persistent profile, retain the modability, improve the graphics and VR support, more robust MP features, single player features, and improved AI + updated tracks/laser scans. This is the racing sim I have the highest hopes for. Fingers crossed! Hopefully they don't ruin it with greed and overmonetization.
I find it both sad AND enlightening that only a couple weeks after Forza Motorsport released we are already looking to the future for the next big title. FM was touted to be and was expected to be that title, but what was released has been a hot mess IMO. T10 has let us down once again. This release seems to be much worse and more broken that FM7 at launch, and FM7 was quite a dumpster fire.
Idk if ac 2 will be amazing, most of the reason why ac is so good is because of the mods, without it's not anything crazy, it's good, not as good as mods

Of all these games how many will be playable on xbox series x and for me im most exctied for test drive solar crown
Solar crown is looking good!
I like your content 🏁🎮🌍😎✌️
Thanks!
Wait is Rennsport still comming out? I mean NFT's are kinda over so why bring out an NFT game.
Yep! Still coming :D
Fana-tech, not fanatic. Please. Good video and looking fwd to some of these titles, very exciting for once!!
That's John's accent kicking in there! Thanks for the comment
Rennsport is going to flop so hard.
agree
Yep
Do you really need 16 minutes video to say when AC2 is coming out?
I’m enjoying Forza 👍
Funfact: The Test Drive Unlimeted games new version is the Crew series! But the Solar Crown is not the original TDU game, just the name and the overall conception is same. So when you want play TDU, just buy the The Crew Motorfest...really amazing game, It's more like the older immersive games and this is a great game to play with steering wheel, this is the absolutly next gen arcade car game. And i think...Solar Crown is a very old and really same conception like old one and also looking bad....
guys I'm looking for some help. I want a really thick steering wheel for my fanatec dd pro using universal hub v2. Would you happen to have any suggestions?
Sim racing bay competition wheel
Ac2 is GTA6
😬
Racing games without triple screen or vr support aren’t worth the time.
Worst thing about Forza is 60fps cap on PC for multiplayer. Wtf would turn 10 think that's a good idea. And the lack of vr support is the reason I haven't bought it.
To keep it competitive. That simple. Consoles can't go above 60fps for Forza so nor can PC. Even playing field.
On one hand a fairer fight, on the other frustrating if you are used to 144
@@TigerWon how about they make a better console instead of limiting one platform for a weaker one. Or do what every crossplay game does have a crossplay toggle.
@@frozezone22 from my understanding they limit fps on pc becouse you can drive faster with more fps on forza its the fault of their engine
@@andreasmoller9798 if that's true that is terrible. It's 2023 and a studio like turn 10 ,with the backing of a trillion dollar company, can't make a game where the physics are not tied to the frame rate lol. Built from the ground up they say.
I'm on Renn's beta. very disappointing
No psvr2 no play.
Who's waiting for that? With the modders we have working on the game, who needs assetto Corsa 2?
dirt rallly way better then wrc hands down.
Is Forza really pronounced "Fotze", I wouldn't say that to any German Speaking person.
It's an Italian word....
Noted!
@@wiegraf9009 its doesn't mean what it does in Italian when you say it to a German. Maybe google the way it pronounced "Fotze"
Oh, we will be eating so good :3
Om Nom Nom Nom
I have 1,200 hours on acc and started playing wrc generations and never looked bk. I have wrc pre ordered and super excited. How is acc a sim when to be the fastest u race on 0 tc. Completely unrealistic. The whole meta set-up is unrealistic
John's pre-ordered EA WRC too, he's just as excited as you!
lol FM(2023) is an absolute joke!
My Thrustmaster T300 + Wheel Stand Pro V2 + IKEA Poäng are very happy with this 💟
Already got slap-on subscribtion lenses at an VR Optician so I don't have to wear glasses or contacts. Amazing times we live in!
I had a Poang and T300 combo for about 3 years, elite level budget sim racing right there, great job 😉 - Piers
"Forza" sounds so much better than "Fort-suh." I refuse to change my pronunciation of it, even if it's incorrect. Fort-suh is such an ear grater lol.
However, absolutely nothing grates my ear like every single english speaking person saying “nahbahring” as if there were not two *distincly* different vowels in Nürburg. 😅
@@Trk-El-Son oh god, I hate it. Similarly, “Nuremburgring.” The mythical track hiding in Nuremberg…
The fact the new Forza didnt have VR support is just a massive L. In classic turn 10 fashion they take way too much time making the game look pretty and not actually be any better
RADIO communication is OVERDUE
What happened to the TOCA game?
We'll be lucky if AC2 arrives the 4th Qt 2024.
Let's wait and see!
8:02 Um no it takes nothing from Horizon as TDU was the basis for that Franchise in the first place, all what you described is what TDU 1 and 2 did, 2 did it even further with used instead of showroom cars being your starter.
I'm not sold on TDU SC just yet though.
WRC needs VR on pS5
No information as yet, Traxion.GG will be the place to find out if/when anything is announced
You guys forgot about forza horizon 6 Japan , torque drift 2 , jdm etc
Sucks the new Forza is soo bad, but at least we got the new WRC coming that has had plenty of good reviews
The only thing missing is Autocross!!! +1 for SCCA Please!
Interesting... Autocross is very cool
How can i get a job with you guys 🥺 we need a real life drag racing game
All these amazing racing sims… and still no boat sims!!!!
forza wont even load to this day from start up for me and a few friends
Did i hear that EA WRC doesnt have triple monitor support?!? Hopefully thats not the case. Im building my new sim rig currently and just purchased 3 Alienware 34" OLEDs. In 2023 support for triple monitors in a sim racing title should be standard. Cool video guys!
No I hear it has true triple monitor support. They reiterated that it will be a geometrically true triple screen after backlash from it not being geometrically true
Is noone excited for GTR Revival? :D
We are! Currently we believe the aim is release as soon as ready 'holiday 2024' traxion.gg/the-could-be-the-first-in-game-look-at-gtr-revival/
Alas, still no Indy game coming out. 😢
LMU in February boiiii
TEST DRIVE YES . I HOPE THEY KEEP THE CASINO IN IT 😂
That would be a gamble...
Manufacturers are going to have to, sooner or later, cater to the consoles as well as pc. Mire so than currently.
We agree, console compatible direct drive options are spread thin, but it's such an important market!
I wonder.. will Need For Speed ever be good again? . Last good game was NFS2 SE and Porsche unleashed. 😅
Idk if ac 2 will be amazing, most of the reason why ac is so good is because of the mods, without it's not anything crazy, it's good, not as good as mods
