The Biggest HERESY In All Adventism!? Is Satan the Ultimate Sin Bearer?

  • In light of the recent objections made against SDAs, namely the understanding of the Scapegoat, we will examine what is truly meant when SDAs claim that Satan is the ultimate sin bearer. Does the Bible speak on this, lets search the scriptures to find out.

    Sins of righteous have been borne by Christ on the cross. Our death has passed over to Him. But the unrighteous who don’t believe in Christ, they shall bear the consequence of all their sins…

      The fact remains that God Atone for the sins of the world (John.3.16), but not ALL the world welcomes such Atonement. Therefore, Satan, the originator of the 'mischief', will end up paying for causing people to commit mischief. Is like your 9 year old breaks your next door neighbors window. You, the Father Atone for his son's mistake but in the end, your son will pay for breaking the window.

    here is a challenge for all you critics. In psalms 73 Asaph tells us that he is distressed by the prosperity of the wicked. Then, he tells us that he went into the sanctuary and saw their end. What did Asaph see? Remember, your answer must be limited to the sanctuary since this is where ASAPh saw the end of evil. Pay close attention to versus 17 18 and 19, especially verse 19. any answers that go out of the sanctuary to find the end of evil will be considered incorrect since it is in the sanctuary Asaph saw the end of evil. What say you dear critic?

    The Correct way to put this is... Pay Attention to what I am about to say! "JESUS bore our PUNISHMENT for sin and Gave us LIFE FOR THOSE WHO REPENT" Romans 6:23, John 3:16, Acts 2:38-39. JESUS WILL NOT BEAR THE BLAME OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIN. Satan Bears the blame for SIN.
    Mathew 13:27-28 - The servants witness that the Master who is Jesus sowed good things, He was not responsible for the tears or the wicked that appeared among the good thing He sowed, So when He the master answered the servant He makes it plain WHO IS RESPONSIBLE, He Says "An enemy has done this" - Who is the enemy of Christ? SATAN the adversary - Revelation 12:9.
    The problem for the critics and accusers is that they cannot distinguish the difference between BEARING THE CONSEQUENCES FOR SINS, WHICH CHRIST DOES FOR US WHO REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM SIN. BEARING THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIN IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, WHICH IS WHAT SATAN WILL BEAR AS HE IS THE ONE WHO WEEKENS AND DECIEVES THE NATIONS WITH SIN. Humans who are not repentant will also bear their own wages of sin and responsibility for it as they have not cast on JESUS but chose to continue in SIN.
    CHECK THIS OUT >>>
    Mathew 25: 31-33 - Jesus divides two classes of people, Sheep and Goat! Sheep on Right Hand Goat on Left
    Verse 34 - Right-hand Group, Sheep enters the kingdom (These are those who followed the lamb and Lived in His righteousness)
    Verse41 - Left-Hand Group, Goats enters the lake of fire prepared for SATAN and his Angels (These are those who opposed Christ and lived wickedly)
    Verse 46 - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
    So remember!
    1. JESUS bears the punishment or results of SIN for the repentant and gives eternal life in return - 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
    2. JESUS DOES NOT BEAR the responsibility for SIN, Satan does as he is the enemy that has caused SIN. That is why the recompense is on his head as the scapegoat and all the other non-repentant human goats will also receive according to what their works have been. Revelation 20:12.
    No one will be able to profess that Jesus has to bear the responsibility of SIN! Instead, they will bow to honor and Glory because he bore the consequences for those who chose righteousness. SIMPLE!

  • @danielgilleland8611
    @danielgilleland8611 Месяц назад +1

    Without making a distinction of "bearing" as in receiving their just punishment vs. "bearing" as in being a redemptive force (removing the punishment/condemnation). The first is "bearing" in the sense of being an accomplice to the sin. The second is "bearing" as in a saving fashion.
    So the flaw in the thinking is seen in an implied attribution to a single word, without context and without definition. In other words, it's just plain old poor exegesis.

    As an Adventist, I believed that the sins were kept for the day of the atonement. So basically the blood would be just a way of transportation. Which would in the case of Jesus mean that his blood defiled the heavenly sanctuary. How can the blood of Jesus defile anything? He’s God!!! The Bible teaches that the sins were NEVER transported and kept. They were forgiven. Done. Gone! You will never find in the Bible that the blood just transported the sins. Blood isn’t a way of transportation. Blood aways cleanses. It was that way in the old covenant, and it is the same in the new. So that theory of sins being kept, that’s doesn’t exist in the Bible.

Satan has a lot of " blood on his hands" because people are still.being deluded by him today that obedience to God is now no longer necessary for eternal life Crudens Concordance on the covenant states that it is between God and man for continued eternal life on condition of obedience . If there were no conditions we would be preaching universalism. The Bible is full of conditions for eternal life. Just as I said previously you are taking Bible verses out of context to fit what u believe, Think about this YOU yourselves are causing others to fall into sin by constantly misrepresenting Bible verses, just as your president did way back in 2012, and has now caused so much division within the SDA Church. As a former 82 yo 3rd generation SDA, who have earnestly prayed for weeks asking the LORD to show me the truth oh his word AS HE WOULD HAVE US KNOW, I stand my ground the Trinity is false doctrine perpetuated into Christianity by the beast out of the sea.

The confessed sins that were symbolically recorded in the sanctuary by the blood of the LORDS goat were removed by faith and placed on the head of the LIVE goat which did not shed its blood for anyone.. The scapegoat was part of the sanctuary service to get rid of the confessed sins of the congregation forever and not return to the camp. I’m sorry but none of the verses you quoted say that Satan bears our sins. You are making leaps. But there are verses that clearly tell us that Jesus bore our sins. He bore our sins in Hs body, He became sin for us. Isaiah 53:6 1Peter 2:24. This is so wild and unbiblical to ascribe to Satan what the Lord has done. The verses you quoted consistently said the wicked who cause others to sin bear their own sins and their sins are on their own heads. Please don’t hold so firmly to a worldview that you’re willing to blaspheme. Anyone bearing the sins of others must be perfect and blameless. This why the scapegoat had to be spotless. It seems you're presupposing that Satan bears sins to save sinners like Jesus does. That's not what we teach. The sins placed upon Azazel have ALREADY been atoned for by the blood of the Lord's goat. By the time the part of the Azazel ritual in the service began, the atonement came to an end (see Lev. 16:20). Azazel is merely bearing the guilt for sins ALREADY ATONED FOR, and therefore, he is not bearing sins in a redemptive sense. Those verses you've pointed to speak of Jesus bearing sins in a REDEMPTIVE sense. But that already took place and ended with the blood of the Lord's goat, for "without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins."
      Can you furnish a verse, at least one verse, that says Jesus would bear sins twice, once to atone, and then again afterwards?

      @@AdventDefenseLeague Never said that Christ bears our sin twice. He suffered for our sins once for all time.
      Levitucus 16:5 says the high priest takes "two goats for a sin offering." Its one offering that typifies Christ shedding His blood for the remission of our sin (The Lord's goat) and expiation (scapegoat). Christ did both of these at the cross. The goats symbolized the duality of His work.
      Then Lev 16:15-16 says that after the Lord's goat which was the sin offering for the people was killed, its blood was used to make atonement for the Holy Place and the Tabernacle, not atonement for the people but for the places. After this the atonement for the people was done on the scapegoat. It's one offering per vs 5 that shows the duality of Christ's work on the cross. Leviticus 16:10 tells us that the scapegoat was the one for an atonement and I believe the bible is correct.
      Yes the verses I cited initially speak to Christ bearing our sin in a redemptive sense. Is there another way that sin is borne according to the Bible? Nope.

    Is Deonte Mcken trying to imply that the pronoun ‘their’ in the phrase “their iniquity” refers to the pronoun ‘them’ in “to them before” and to the phrase “the house of Israel”. Does he tell us that God in Eze.44:12 says that the Levites (v. 10) who “caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity” will bear the iniquity of the house of Israel? He then makes an analogy, saying that “If you cause someone to fall into sin you will bear their iniquity”. Is it so? Does the pronoun ‘their’ really refer to the phrase “the house of Israel”? If we will follow the Mcken’s logic the same Levites in the verse 13 will bear the shame of the house of Israel: “but they shall bear their shame”, and the abominations of the house of Israel: “and their abominations which they have committed”. Is it sound exegesis? No, it is not. In reality, the pronoun ‘their’ in v. 12 refers to the preceding pronoun ‘they’ in the phrase “they shall bear”. It refers to the Levites themselves. The Hebrew Grammar of the verse 12 confirms it. First, God says: עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם_יָדִ֜י_נָשָׂ֨אתִי ’nasati yaday alehem’ “I have lifted My hand upon them”. Clearly, ‘them’ here refers to the Levites, not to Israelites. Then, God says about this Levites: עֲוֺנָֽם_וְנָשְׂא֖וּ ’wenasu awonam’ “and they will bear their iniquity”. The Hebrew pronominal suffix ‘-am’ can have reflexive meaning: “their own’. Such understanding of this suuffix ‘-am’ in ‘awonam’ in v.12 is presented in the Russian Synodal Version: “и они понесут наказание за вину СВОЮ” (“and they will bear punishment for THEIR OWN guilt”). The same in the v. 13: “they shall bear THEIR OWN shame, and THEIR OWN abominations which they have committed”. The same situation in the Vulgate: the pronoun ‘suus’ is used there to render the Hebrew pronominal suffix. This pronoun is a reflexive possessive pronoun: their own. The Levites will bear their own iniquity, namely, their own sin of causing the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, not the sin of the Israelites themselves. So, Eze.44:12 does not teach that “if you cause someone to fall into sin you will bear their iniquity”. That’s why it can not be used as an argument for the doctrine of the scapegoat. If we will use such unsound exegesis and, therefore, such silly arguments, our critics like Myles Ketelsen will have another good reason to laugh at us, even if they themselves sometimes do unsound exegesis like Dr. Phillip Kayser did in his book ‘Sunday as a First-Day Sabbath’ with the Greek phrase μίαν σαββάτων found in Mt.28:1. I understand that exciment, the feeling of joy in finding a supposed proof for the idea that the Satan will bear the sins of the saints. But, in reality, there is no reason for rejoicing.

      Read the context of the passage:
      10- ““And the LEVITES who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity.
      11 - Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.
      Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath against them,” says the Lord God, “that they shall bear their iniquity.”
      ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭44‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
      The entire context of the passage is God holding the Levites accountable for the people going astray. The “they” being spoken about are the Levites who are the main focus of the passage.

    • @aetos223
      @aetos223 Месяц назад

      @@deontemcken Thank you for your reply. It seems to me that you yourself don’t understand the context. That’s why let’s analyze. God dealt with the sin of Israel in vv. 6-9. Then in v. 10 He proceeds to the sin of some Levites. Verse 10 begins with the Hebrew phrase ‘ki-im’. It can mean ‘but’. The Septuagint picks up this meaning: “ἀλλ’ ἢ” (all’ e). Lancelot Charles Lee Brenton in his English translation of the Septuagint renders it as “but as for [the Levites]”. The Vulgate renders it as ‘sed’ - but. This perfectly fits into the context. In v. 9 God says that “No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel”. Then He adds exception for the unfaithful and faithful Levites (vv. 10-31), beginning with the unfaithful ones. They will be ministers in His sanctuary though more like servants. Now, let’s analyze pronounes. The word Israel in Hebrew is Singular, but the verb תָּע֣וּ (taau; they went astray) is Plural and refers to the Levites. So, it is some Levites who went astray when Israel went astray. God deals with them in vv.10-14. But in vv. 15-31 He deals with the Levites who didn’t go astray when Israel went astray. That’s why in v. 10 the phrase “which went astray away from me after their idols” speaks about those unfaithful Levites and the pronoun ‘their’ refers to Levites themselves, not to the Israelites. “Their idoles’ are the idols of the unfaithful Levites. And these unfaithful Levites shall bear their OWN iniquity, not the iniquity of the Israel. Here is used the same Hebrew phrase as in v. 12 (’wenasu awonam’ - “and they will bear their iniquity”). So, that how this phrase used in v. 10 gives us that how it should be understood in v.12. They will bear their own iniquity. They themselves worshiped idols and will receive punishment for it. God first mentioned in v. 10 that the Levites themselves worshiped their own idols and He is holding them accountable for this their sin. Only then, in v. 12, He adds the sin of leading Israel into iniquity. So, contrary to you opinion (“The entire context of the passage is God holding the Levites accountable for the people going astray.”), God is holding the Levites accountable primarily for that that they themselves went astray when Israel ALREADY went astray. And later they in their turn led Israel into sin. Reciprocal... But the sons of Zadok didn’t go astray when Israel ALREADY went astray. So, your attempt to prove the doctrine of the Devil as the scapegoat is not based on real exegesis. You just ignore Hebrew Grammar.
