- A POV Drive in the VF Engineering Tuned RWD Converted 2013 Audi R8 V10 Manual. The conversion saves about 150lbs and the tune is good for about 500 whp. This Gated manual makes the car feel incredibly special and the Loud exhaust gives the V10 a proper voice in the world. Be on the look out for blue flames from the 600LT as well.

What I love about this first gen v10 is, it sounds pure, it isn't interrupted by the fake pops and bangs like in the Huracan and the new R8, also the first gen looks better bc it's not trying to mimic the Lamborghini

I’ve driven the 4wd and felt bit dead...you clearly had fun..so I’d say the change was full success. It’s personal taste and kinda cool it’s not obvious to look at..need more cars that are less advertising and more done by and for the driver

You can tell by just watching the RPMs that the driver is doing it.

Hope I don't jinx myself saying this, but I'm picking up an 8J TTRS 6MT soon, and this just hypes me up so much more! Will it be half or even three quarters of the experience for one quarter of the price? Also with a splash of practicality so it can be experienced daily and not just on weekends on Newbury St, Mexico.

@@lukaposeidon8490 haha, having too much fun driving for youtube ;) It's great! My previous turbo car was an xDrive 335i N55, and even though they're both turbo and AWD, this drives so so different. Beyond the huge overall power boost, the 2.5 TFSI really does have big turbo characteristics. It kicks on very hard at 3k, so it feels like a rocket. I'm an autocross guy, and handling wise, it's also not that understeery. It's quite balanced even without suspension mods. But sure it's not going to swing the tail and be predictable at it.
Acceleration/performance is always relative. This thing is plenty fast and amazing value for momey as far as supercar experiences goes. Like classic watches cars like this will become worth aloottt of money in the future. Eventually all supercar manufacturers will switch back to NA and manual. Sick car great video. Only thing i dont like is the cheap vw bits lol but nothing human made is perfect i guess.

Damn I felt horrible when The red bmw downshifted and accelarared because I thought gears were grinding. You are one hell of a driver never would assume you doing anything remotely close to grinding gears.
haha no grinding! he's a pretty good driver on track as well. E46 M3's usually just sound like crunching metal no matter what =)

@@bannablitz247 I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but I highly doubt that the speedometer on an audi r8 ends at 220 km/h. That's an American R8, it's showing the speed in mph.

what differences did you notice with the RWD conversion? I'm considering it.
Difference is huge, it initially feels like a 458 front end (Reality not quite), turning radius is insanely good no more 3 point turns, turn in is super sharp and direct compared to before. Front end is lighter as you loose 150lb. Overall best dynamic upgrade you can do.

Cant believe they still fit those crappy multimedia units in such an expensive car. I had the same thing in my 2008 Audi S3.
That's what they had at the time...The Rolls Royce Phantom has the same multimedia unit as in the 5 Series G30 just with some software tweaks
Also believe it or not the new A Class and CLA have more advanced multimedia unit than the latest S Class

But r8 with v10 was always with auto gearbox and it is sad that somebody kill the quattro drive
Nope. They made manuals.The current generation does not have manuals, but this gen did.
