Drive ins did it nice a double feature. I remember seeing Casper and Apollo 13 at the drive-in, but the first Jurassic Park in the rain as a kid it doesn't get any better than that. I cannot for the life of me remember what the matinee was though. Good times

I got to see Asmus doing open mics at Comedy on State in Madtown when he was 1st starting out, and he was crushing it back then. Congrats man on the success!!
The dead end description reminds me so much of my dad's current house. It's a dead end road with just two houses. The road ends at his driveway, but his house is setback, so it can't be seen from the road. He asked the town to put a dead end sign on the road because people constantly turned around in the driveway trying to get to a neighborhood that was actually about a half mile away. The town took their time about it and then decided to put up a "no outlet" sign, which obviously didn't stop people from looking for a neighborhood by turning down his driveway. What's even worse is that his driveway splits, with one side going to his house and the other to a pole barn he built, so some people actually try both "roads".
In absolute tears listening to this guys childhood to adulthood Jesus this is too funny!

As someone who grew up in Point Pleasant and went to the boardwalk possibly over 1,000 times, I thought it was the best boardwalk that I went to in NJ, but there were still flaws. You could get some really rowdy days if too many bennies showed up. The parking could get brutal on busy days for locals showing up, such as a fireworks night. If there were too many people, then it's hard to do anything. The boardwalk is exactly a mile long, but only about half of it has things to do. It wasn't as trashy as places like Seaside, wasn't full of snobby rich people like some shore towns.
Gotta say I think the old thumbnails are better. One might even say classier?
