The Mel Gibson lead Maverick was a very good movie.
If you are going to talk about a Stagecoach remake the C&W version was not very good, the 1966 version was a good as the original whether John Ford agrees or not.
The remake of 3:10 to Yuma was a good movie if you never saw the original, if you did there is no doubt the original is better.
The Jeff Bridges remake of True Grit is much better than the original both in story and actors.

The Maverick movie was a big hit with 183 Million at the box office. The only reason it is "buried" nowadays is because of Mel Gibson.
