You keep reviewing things I’ve never seen or even heard of. I applaud you for that. It gives me something different to search for. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I just got this from a friend today. Very good whiskey with a lot of clear information on the bottle about where it came from. Good notes on the flavor, but mine feels a little different. I wonder how much flavor drift there is between different batches. Mine was bottled March 10, 2023.
Hey Anthony, with the barrels coming from different floors and creating different blends, there is a very good chance you'll have some slight differences. That's one of the cool things I like about this release, they're different. I'd be interested to know what flavors you got from your batch? Cheers, and thanks for sharing 🥃
Absolutely agree. If I tried to pick something that is a front and center bourbon profile, this is it. I applaud them for waiting 6 years for a first release. I also look forward to the warehouse variations they have planned. Merry Christmas Scott. Cheers 🥃
Thanks for getting the mashbill. This has been the only channel that was able to specify it. Any chance you still have the bottle and can provide the details of the warehouse it came from and percentages of the blend? It’s on the left side of the label. I’m trying to compare specs to the one I got that was bottled in 2023 or January.
it's a pretty good bourbon but don't know i would buy another bottle for $60.00 i get it's probably a small craft distillery and they need to turn a profit. I don't regret buying it but there is just so much else out there in the price point i can't see it being something i would drink on a regular basis. if it were $45.00- $50.00 Maybe i would consider keeping a bottle around.
🤔 sound like something worth having for people coming over that are new to our whiskey world. Plus it’s something they’ve really never heard of. Cheers man and merry Christmas 🎄
Ben Holladay Bottled In Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is worth the price. It's complex and tasty. I'm a Laphroaig man, but I refuse to pay $25 MORE for Scotch Single Malts, than I did for the same Whisky, just a few years ago. 🤬
@@mybourbonjourney I socked away a few bottles of Laphroaig to include a 10 Cask Strength Feb 20 bottling. I had a few fingers of it, recently, and it was so good I nearly cried. But, later on in that day, I had some Ben Holladay with a cigar to close my evening. I'm buying another bottle of Ben Holladay, today. It's good value.
I think it's a good middle of the road bourbon. But not worth $55-60. It does not stand out in a pack of other bourbons of the same price. It's too basic for the price.
This Bourbon is one of favorites!
It's fantastic! Cheers and thanks for watching and sharing 🥃
Just found this in North Carolina. Liked it enough to pick up a second bottle.
Awesome, glad to hear you're enjoying it! Cheers and thanks for watching 🥃
Found it a Sm's club in eastern Missouri. price 43 dollars.
Not a bad price for that! Cheers 🥃
I just recently bought a bottle and I’m glad I did. It’s a good pour and I will be buying a back up next time I see one.
Couldn't agree with you more! Cheers 🥃
Grabbed Fall 23 release at CostCo for $45, and it was worth every penny.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! Cheers 🥃
I’m drinking it now and I agree with everything you said
It's a nice little pour! Cheers, and I appreciate you watching and commenting! 🥃
Picked it up a month ago haven’t opened yet can’t wait now🥃
Let me know what you think once you open it! Cheers and thanks for watching the video! 🥃
Wait until you have the barrel proof version 😉, just found one today, a store pick here in KC
Can't wait!

Cheers, I try to do some reviews of things that are a little different or off the beaten path. Cheers 🥃
Very good!! But for $10 less, Still Austin cask strength crushes it
Really enjoy what Still Austin is Doing also! Cheers 🥃
I love that stuff. Just discovered it a few months ago on a visit to their distillery. Will buy it now every time I visit KC
It's a really nice little bourbkn for sure! Glad you enjoy it! Cheers 🥃

I can appreciate that! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Cheers 🥃
It's frequently found in the Kansas City area for around $48. I agree that $60 is on the high side.
Definitely enjoy it, it's a nice sipper!
Holiday Cheers Scott. That Holladay is a fun multidimensional high rye bourbon. Take your time with it and enjoy the ride.
Cheers Mike! 🥃
Happy Boxing day up there in Canada 😉
Lol, Cheers buddy 🥃

Cheers and Happy Holidays to you also! 🥃
Love the label, would love to try it. Do they ship there juice?
Hey Charles, I doubt they ship directly but maybe you can find an online retailer that carries it. Cheers! 🥃
This bottle keeps popping up around me with nobody saying anything negative about it. Suppose I should snag one myself now. Cheers!
It's a nice little bourbon! Cheers 🥃

Taste like bourbon! Just better than most of that other poser bourbs.
