My husband takes Ozempic to control his diabetes. He has lost almost 25 pounds but his appetite is almost nothing. If he eats when he is not hungry, he is sick to his stomach. Finding foods that will naturally help us suppress our appetite is by far, more beneficial for us in the long run. Loved the content, Thomas!!
You should tell your husband to grow a pear and have a little bit of self-discipline. Taking a destructive drug. Just so you stop putting bad food in your mouth is pathetic and weak. It's called the keto diet and he'll drop all the weight you need while remaining healthy Cutting your hands off so you quit twiddling your thumbs is not the answer
I’m in the same boat. My husband was able to control his sugars perfectly and had no issues with his type 2 diabetes. He exercised, his weight was fine, but he needed to work on cleaning up his diet. After he got the C vaccine he has never been able to get his sugars in control. Now he has problems with his weight, and sugar balance. That shot really messes with hormones. He’s been on Ozempic For about 6 months and he has lost weight but he also has no appetite most of the time. He looks unhealthy to me, does not have a healthy appetite, and doesn’t have the energy he used to have. I’m trying to get him on board with changing his diet so he doesn’t have to do Ozempic. I’ve heard some horror stories with that stuff! I’m sending him this video. Good luck to your husband.
I am a nurse in a retirement home ive had very much an internal battle in my head abiut ozempic because they give it to a few folks where i work for diabetes but they have lost there appetite and they have lost weight muscle included and for someone who is 75 an older that is very bad
Thanks Thomas! You've helped me reverse my pre-diabetes and get in ripping shape within the last year - all at the age of 60! I've learned a lot from you. Thank you! Thank you! Changing lives.
I used Allulose for a month in my morning smoothies and was so proud of myself. I wasn't hungry and stopped eating so much fruit but noticed by week three that my face and stomach were swelling. Turns out that if you suffer from IBS or SIBO it jacks them up. So, just a word to the wise. Otherwise I love all the info you give out.
Thank you Tom… I’ve been with you from the beginning, except the time when RUclips unsubscribed me for some reason… my health has changed 80% for better by listening to the information from you…. God Bless you and your family… be happy, strong, and always be positive

Awesome! Thx for the info! Once I started intermittent fasting and gradually went to one meal a day, my appetite lessened and I have no sugar cravings. I do however crave protein when I workout.
I’m sure Ozempic is a lifesaver for some people, but feels like it’s over prescribed at this point. Thank you for your natural approach to curbing hunger, it just seems so much healthier in the long run 👍🏻

I drink a fiber mix of husk and flaxseed, 30 mins to reduce over eating. It works. We eat out once a week so before leaving to the restaurant, I definitely take it because it's really easy to over eat at restaurants.
I watch these videos once, then twice to reinforce the information given, then a third time to take notes. The short form ones are especially good for this method. I have been keto/carnivore for five years. I am a researcher by trade and need to geek out on any new science in this field. Thank you for all the hard work Thomas.
Good question. I researched this and my understanding is that caffeine helps burn fat since it speeds up your metabolism plus decaf is processed, they process it to remove caffeine.. so better to have regular just less. I usually have one shot (not two) since I’m sensitive to caffeine. Or I have half a spoon of organic instant etc. instant chicory is great to replace coffee and helps metabolism too. Tastes like coffee and no caffeine!
110lbs gone and kept off for over 10 years. Found I was doing a few things you recommend here! When I eat “keto” foods that don’t have enough protein, my appetite goes up gradually. Making sure I get my whey in (I am lazy so I came up with a super simple recipe: Raw organic whey concentrate, 60gms, 1/2 TBS Brain octane c8 mct oil, 1 tsp Sunbutyrate oil, redmonds real salt and water to mix into a paste). Great lunch! Of course it’s also nice made into a beverage, ice cream or waffle with other ingredients. I do find the hot peppers added to dinner of ground beef or venison & low carb veg are extra satiating. Long ago, I read the Mood Cure and incorporate tyrosine and dlpa (separately, on an empty stomach) and just 1 - 50 mg enteric release 5 htp a day. Wonder which channels these address for appetite reduction? I take 2 green coffee coffee genic because I read it reduces glucose production by the liver under stress, and is anti-depressant. In the late morning (my “breakfast), I make a hot drink, in lieu of coffee: of a square of alter eco blackout chocolate, 1tsp culinary dark cocoa, dash redmonds salt, 1/2 TBS of brain octane and 1 tsp of Sunbutyrate plus 16oz hot water and mix. A kind of bulletproof cocoa, just not sweet (acquired taste - like black coffee). Keeps me full til late afternoon and my 1.5 meals a day. Occasional treats have now switched to allulose based or combo allulose erythritol. Like bamboo fiber (biscuits or waffles, so far). Was able to feel very “treated” over the holidays, without usual fat gain. I stay very low carb, and if I rarely eat potatoes or beans, I take starch blocker “Phase 2”. Sure appreciate the nudges you give! I also have greatly improved by adding red light (mostly from outdoors and a device) with 2.5 mg (from drops) of methylene blue for mitochondrial improvement post-covid. So grateful!
I don’t over eat. I’ve seen the secret eaters show, I’ve evaluated myself, food journaled, tracked calories….but I just turned 44 and it doesn’t matter how little I eat. Thank god the weight gain has slowed or stopped, but it’s just not coming off. Does Greek yogurt have the casin protein? Is MTC oil in coffee really worth it?
I was one of the few unlucky ones to have a genetic dispositions against ozempic and whatever mechanism it has. I never lost my hunger and I never lose weight but it gave me the absolute worth stomach floating that persists 6 months after stopping it
I increased my fiber, went lower carb, cut processed foods and lost 35 lbs. I feel sooooo much better and I brought my A1C down from 6.1 to 5.5. Oh….. and I started walking and exercising every day..❤
Thanks for this Thomas. Question... How much allulose do you consume for it to "crush[es your] appetite for almost exactly 4 hours"? And what form do you take it in? What are you adding it to? Your viewers appreciate you!!!!
Hi, I'm on Ozempic and starting dose is .25 mg until the pen runs out. The first few weeks were very rough. I've found that my tastes buds have changed. Sweet tastes much sweeter. Salty and oily things taste gross now. If I eat a high-fat meal, I tend to vomit within two hours. I've found that my cravings for junk have dropped significantly. Also learned that frequent, small meals are better for the heartburn and indigestion. The nausea comes and goes. My weight isn't going down much yet, but I'm at the one month mark. I also take Jardiance. My fasting blood sugar upon awakening has dropped from 160's to the 120's already. Even though the scale isn't moving much, my clothes are getting looser. I am thinking about trying carnivore for a week to get the weight loss going in the right direction.
I use allulose to lightly sweeten my homemade yogurt. A bit of cocoa powder and cinnamon makes a dessert that tops off my meal and helps get me through to the next meal.😊
If you're looking to suppress your appetite, certain foods may help. Here are some options: 1. **High-Protein Foods**: Foods like chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, and legumes can help you feel fuller for longer. 2. **High-Fiber Foods**: Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes are rich in fiber, which can promote a feeling of fullness. 3. **Healthy Fats**: Avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil can help you feel satisfied and reduce hunger. 4. **Water-Rich Foods**: Foods with high water content, such as cucumbers, watermelon, and celery, can fill you up without adding many calories. 5. **Spicy Foods**: Spices like cayenne pepper may help reduce appetite temporarily. 6. **Green Tea**: Some studies suggest that green tea can help suppress appetite and boost metabolism. 7. **Greek Yogurt**: High in protein and probiotics, it can keep you feeling full. 8. **Chia Seeds**: These seeds expand in your stomach and can create a sense of fullness. 9. **Broth-Based Soups**: Low-calorie soups can fill you up before a meal. 10. **Dark Chocolate**: In moderation, it can reduce cravings for sweet snacks. It's important to remember that individual responses to food can vary, so what works for one person might not work for another. Additionally, focus on a balanced diet and consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Thanks 🙏 Thom
There was a study that showed that some sulfur producing bacteria in the gut will decrease GLP-1 release and reducing those bacteria in the gut will increase GLP-1 release.
Thomas, I SO appreciate your information, always something interesting. You have helped me keep on the right track over recent years, and inspire me and teach me to try different things or understand what I am figuring out intuitively or am lost on.
How about a whey protein shake with psillium, mct oil, capsacin with some cottage cheese on the side- and then drink a combo of water, coffee, green tea with keto chow elec drops throughout the day esp when hungry. In tge evening have sour kraut or kimchi? Would that be a practical way to do this? I’m down 70 and need to loose 70 more-it’s taken me 2 years. Frustrating when friends are getting it done in 2 or 3 months w ozempic.
9:50 - Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year and a common thing people say is to go for a walk after eating. But, what qualifies as "A Walk"? No one can ever agree to what that answer should be. How many steps? How long? What pace? Is it a casual stroll around the block for 10-15 minutes or am I speed walking several kilometers for over an hour?
@DavesChaoticBrain… don’t overthink it! Walk at a brisk but comfortable pace, 20-30 minutes is good, even 15 if that’s what you have time for. There is no magic walking bullet 😊
I went to the doctor 9 days ago he lectured me for 15 minutes, and told me you wanted me to go on magaro, I said no way, been on keto for nine days and I've lost 9 lb, it's a good start! Thanks for the helpful info
I bought Sacha inchi from your last video. Can't wait for it to come in. Also, does it have to be pure Allulose, cause lakanto makes a allulose and monk fruit sweetener.
Thomas, you are a world of information for me in many ways. I appreciate many of your videos. I am not always able to absorb them, but I want to say thank you in this particular video these injections for weight loss help I’m unable to take. It’s a bittersweet although I’m glad I’m not able to. I had three cancers liver, esophagus, and thyroid, and I’ve developed Gastro pries which is the reason I can’t do the injections. I sometimes wish I could but grateful I can’t I think there’s a lot of harm with them.
Hey Thomas, why are my joint so "crunchy" feeling when getting down to a low body fat percentage? Do your joints feel worse off at lower body fat? What can be done about it?
Is this about the Sacha Inchi seeds? I started eating them last week and haven’t ate anything since….. jk but it either works or it’s a placebo due to me watching your other videos. Or, it could be that I am coming out of the flu and my appetite hasn’t fully returned. They taste like cardboard peanuts so I’ve been putting a small amount of avocado oil on them, just enough to coat them to get a seasoning to stick, then sprinkling some Tony’s creole seasoning on them

@@markothwriterThank you for pointing out that AI-generated post and video is not the same🧐🥺
Never would I consult with healthcare provider about my diet.
Helpful! Thank you.
Hello, I am looking forward to what you are
bringing to the table
There was a study that showed that some sulfur producing bacteria in the gut will decrease GLP-1 release and reducing those bacteria in the gut will increase GLP-1 release.
Interesting.
@@AngelPrissy They also showed that bismuth subsalicylate reduces those bacteria.
Very interesting. Gonna research that. Thanks for sharing

I like the idea of using a little Psyllium a few times a day to suppress my appetite but will it negatively affect ketosis during a fasting period?
As always: thanks for your research and sharing with us 😊🎉
Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated.
Great info!!

Love this. It gives me some things to think about. ❤❤

Hello Thomas! What about dates on their own? Would a few dates a day be beneficial?
So valuable information 🙏🏻 Thank you Thomas
9:50 - Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year and a common thing people say is to go for a walk after eating. But, what qualifies as "A Walk"? No one can ever agree to what that answer should be. How many steps? How long? What pace? Is it a casual stroll around the block for 10-15 minutes or am I speed walking several kilometers for over an hour?
@DavesChaoticBrain… don’t overthink it! Walk at a brisk but comfortable pace, 20-30 minutes is good, even 15 if that’s what you have time for. There is no magic walking bullet 😊
Thank you for taking the time to break down the science. 😊I enjoy watching.
I went to the doctor 9 days ago he lectured me for 15 minutes, and told me you wanted me to go on magaro, I said no way, been on keto for nine days and I've lost 9 lb, it's a good start! Thanks for the helpful info
Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed day!

Opinion in berberine? Berberine HCL?
Thanks Thomas!

Hello and thank you!

Great video
Is this about the Sacha Inchi seeds? I started eating them last week and haven’t ate anything since….. jk but it either works or it’s a placebo due to me watching your other videos. Or, it could be that I am coming out of the flu and my appetite hasn’t fully returned. They taste like cardboard peanuts so I’ve been putting a small amount of avocado oil on them, just enough to coat them to get a seasoning to stick, then sprinkling some Tony’s creole seasoning on them
If you don’t mind me asking, what brand and where did you get your Sacha Inchi?
@CallMeLilly1 the brand is Herbazest. It was $20 for a 1lb bag but I’m only eating two servings per day so it does last for me
This was informative. Thanks!
