Ciliophora

This is one of the main organisms in Lake Ouachita. It propels itself with it's external cilia. Notice the organism's "Organelles" inside it's Cytoplasm. Realize that millions of years ago, complex life evolved by single-celled organisms engulfing their prey/food and then that "eaten" life-form landed up being a benefit to that organism...living inside it. From there complex multi-cell life came into being.
