So crisp, so precise, so soft, energetic. I'm amazed that hands and fingers can move like this. I've read that she practices 12 hours a day - or did at one time. I played piano in my youth, but never, ever could I aspire to this level of perfection. The first two movements of this piece are equally divinely played by her. Thank you for this, and thank you, Valentina, for sharing your exquisite and astonishing talent with us.
Thanks, I was trying to perfect speed and accuracy at the same time for the first part, but learning the whole song accurately and slowly proves to be much more helpful. You’re a life saver
everyone knows that if you can play it slow, then you can play it fast. but for real, this is good advice. I used to try to play everything at tempo or higher, and absolutely sucked, and now I get much more feeling out of songs. Technique is important but emotion is as well.
*me wearing headphones* "What are you listening to?" "Beethoven" "Nice. Could you send it to me? I need some new classical music to help me sleep" "Uh, sure. Sweet dreams.."
Now this is how you play a piece that is written presto agitato! I know we have no proof of it, but I wholeheartedly believe this is how Beethoven intended it to be, and how I always heard it looking at the sheet music and knowing the loose story behind it. Manic and all over the place, with anger, resentment, and heartache, but all of it pointed and concise. It is loud and fast, but precise, and you can feel the tension between the pianist and the keyboard, you don’t know who is playing who. Bravo!
For me it's way too fast. Slightly slower allows the listener to actually hear the notes being played. The version by Rousseau that you'll find on you tube is much more pleasing to my ears.
Lisitsa always finds a level of intensity that few, if any, match. She loves her composers and they love her. Always thrilling to see this consistently inspired performer.
@@blackdiamond4859 You can think that. You can believe that. You don't know that. No one on this planet understands the Universe, and this is becoming more obvious by the day.
Don’t refer Valentina as ‘This Person.’ She deserves to be called her name into achieving such greatness. I’ll get my smartass back into minecraft lmAo
Zalera In my opinion, referring to her as “Valentina” would be considered more disrespectful than “this person” because you are saying her name from a stance where you are either friends with her or at such a musical talent that she matches your skill as a colleague or peer. Using her last name, “Lisitsa,” would be more appropriate because it gives her a professional stance when being mentioned in third person. There is a reason why most essays require people to speak about authors using their surnames instead of their first names, and this is that exact reason.
This is perfection. So many other renditions go for speed, but lack the clarity of hearing each individual note. Every truly masterful rendition of this that I've heard is always pretty fast, but what sets them apart is the fact that you can hear every last keystroke among the chaos of the speed.
This video is literally the only reason I don't give up on music sometimes, it's so inspiring to see such a different side of music. Valentina adds a part of music that is often missed when speed and difficulty is added, emotion and purpose. Thank you, I love your videos.

Few things can travel faster than light: 1. Objects traveling through worm holes 2. Two singularities sharing information 3. Valentina playing La Campanella and Moonlight Sonata, Presto Agitato.
thats is probabliy the last black-hole,which no one know were is it exactly---and b.h.-----have a speed about 300.000 km/s....but she 'is on the good road to reach them all!!!!!!!!!!
Objects traveling through worm holes aren't faster than light, they just take shorter routes through the Spacetime fabric... They simply take shortcuts.
And regarding the second statement, I think you meant the "Quantum Entanglement" phenomena... Which is explained clearly that the measurements of the states of the two objects correlate perfectly and instantaneously but there is NO information passing between them, and the only way to see the correlation is by introducing both the measurements back together and that is something you have to do in a speed that is at or below the speed of light only... Because the speed of light is the ultimate speed in the universe. There is no exploit here..

I tried to perfect this for years and while I believe I came close, I was never anywhere as fantastic as this. What an outstanding performance.
Day 1 of simply piano: Marry Had a Little Lamb
Day 2 of simply piano: Perfect by Ed Sheeran

She has the only interpretation where it sounds like the piano is screaming in the beginning section.
Such a bone-chilling level of talent.
Yes! Check out Glenn Gould’s version of this movement as well. He plays it similarly. Their versions are my two favorite interpretations so far.
You need to hear ARTUR RUBINSTEIN perform this piece......
There’s a difference between skill and talent
that is how Beethoven intended it to be played and thats how it sounded when he created it!!
@@_otroll5393 Exactly, why do people see talent but not months and years of hardwork.

Thanks, I was trying to perfect speed and accuracy at the same time for the first part, but learning the whole song accurately and slowly proves to be much more helpful. You’re a life saver
You right but some people can t be patient at this situation
everyone knows that if you can play it slow, then you can play it fast.
but for real, this is good advice. I used to try to play everything at tempo or higher, and absolutely sucked, and now I get much more feeling out of songs. Technique is important but emotion is as well.

Bravo!
Well described
i adore how you described this
For me it's way too fast. Slightly slower allows the listener to actually hear the notes being played.
The version by Rousseau that you'll find on you tube is much more pleasing to my ears.
@@Em-Bee imo it has to be that fast in contrast to the 1st movement, but its just my taste :)

1. Objects traveling through worm holes
2. Two singularities sharing information
Scalar wave. Makes four.
There is no exploit here..
its ok..!!!!
