Hey Bros, I learned you two are in Georgia, a former Soviet state, have yall seen Metallica live from Moscow 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union?
P.s I really thought y'all were twins.
You can’t beat it.
Get home after a day of work and sit on the back patio and enjoy the sunset as the critters do their thing.
Can’t beat it.
CCR rules. Great nostalgia.
Just a fun song. Nothing deep. Nothing heavy. Just enjoying life.
Down On The Corner, and Bad Moon Rising, have a similar vibe, as far as Creedence goes.
This song was from their album "Cosmos Factory." This was the first album I ever bought back around 1970, 50 years ago! Man oh man, how time flies! The guys in CCR met in junior high school in El Cerrito, near San Fransisco, California. They were all born around that area. John Fogerty was the leader of the band and drew the inspiration for their songs from what he imagined Louisiana and the Mississippi river were like. John Fogerty comes to Calgary, Alberta in western Canada every year and plays a concert or two. This is where I live and we love CCR, even after more than 50 years! He is still a big draw when he puts on a concert!
PARNII!!!!! BORN ON THE BAYOU !!!!! FORTUNATE SON !!!!! It Came Out of The Sky!!!!
I ran around the house singing this song when it came out when I was 10 years old, and my mom was dancing with me. Can’t express what a great era that was!
Guys. C c r. Those guys ruled in the 70.s. They have so many songs. They can play & sing their ass off.👍👍😍. Thanks for all your great reactions. 😮♥️♥️
CCR sings a lot about the simple things ... stuff that brings us happiness, yet we so often forget. They remind us that we can find happiness just lookin' out our back doors. BTW ... I LOVE what you Bros are doin'. Play safe.
UP AROUND THE BEND. is a REAL ROCKER!!!!
Yes!!!!!! Please :)
Yes
Please please more of Creedance Clearwater revival.. you have just scratched the surface. This group has so many dimensions. John fogerty is in his 70s and still touring until covid. Tremendous songwriter singer and guitarist
The long version of “Heard it through the grapevine” is a banger. If you love jamming
MIDNIGHT SPECIAL -- a slower song about being careful with the law - the "midnight special" is a prison train
Bro's, their "Born On The Bayou" is a banger!!. The 11-minute version of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" is quite the jam!
Ditto
Perfect American summertime driving song! Roll down the windows, crank up to volume, sing along!!
Every one of their songs is unique, but brilliant. John Fogerty wrote them all. And John's voice carries it all. He is such a national treasure. John was school friends with Doug Clifford (drummer) and Stu Cook (backup guitar). The curly haired blonde is Tom Fogerty, John's older brother.
The art of the 2 minutes 30 second song is very demanding and yet groups like CCR, the Beatles, and so many others perfected ii.
You’re right, that’s all they needed and they were done!
I grew up listening to this. My parents loved this group and this song especially. Always reminds me of them.
Congratulations...40K!!
You guys are part of my every day...Midwest USA🇺🇲 🌿💕🌿😎
“Born On The Bayou” can’t recommend it enough. You won’t be disappointed!
Oh - also "Fortunate Son" was an anti-war song.
Some of their BEST..."HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE RAIN" along with "BORN ON THE BAYOU" and " I HEARD IT THOUGH THE GRAPEVINE" and "WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN" and "GREEN RIVER" and "BAD MOON RISING" and "RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE" and "FORTUNATE SON" and "DOWN ON THE CORNER". I could go on and on and on but this is a good start!! Enjoy your reactions! GET YOUR CCR ON!!
Sweet Hitchhiker...Someday never comes....they have a lot of real good songs, keep up the good work.
Bands back then used to put classified ads in newspapers, magazines, and trade publications looking for singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers.
'Keep on Chooglin' is their best jam song. I don't know why no one ever suggests it. There is more to CCR than just the three minute radio hits!
🎶 🎸 CCR John Fogerty "Looking out the back door is My favorite blast from the past thx guys 👍
DOWN ON THE CORNER is a great song, must listen 🎶 👌
Love love CCR
The 1960's and 70's were an AMAZING time to be a teenager! EVERYONE had the idea that if you had a couple of friends that could halfway play guitar/drums and/or sing, you had as good a chance as anyone to be the next superstar band! CCR always had great songs. One of my favorites is Traveling Band". Check it out if you get a chance. Great reaction!
Lead singer's name is John fogerty he's still performs, you should check out some of his songs
My daughter used to make her dad and I play this song over and over again when she was about 4 years old.
Your daughter has great taste in music.
Now some Elvis, MJ, Bee Gees and some more, and she's set for life.:D
@@OriginalPuro , she grew up on all of the music you mentioned and much more. My middle granddaughter is named after a Pink Floyd song.
Great reaction! John Fogerty is a treasure! You would love ‘Long as can see the light’ great great song!
Give Put A Spell on You and Run Through the Jungle a reaction. These are two great songs by CCR.
Songs back then packed so much power into 3 minutes or less. You guys are old souls in young packages
The joy of music cannot be stopped.
*I put a spell on you - creedence clearwater revival* ...... insanely good cover
Such a Happy, feel good song! We could use songs like these in these hard times, but we'll never get the musical greatness of the 60's 70's and early 80's again. Everything now is auto tone, and no one plays their own instruments. How times have changed! (not for the better)
You're still on the fringe of their best songs with many more to go. Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Up Around the Bend, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Who'll Stop the Rain, Heard it through the Grapevine, Bad Moon Rising, Down on the Corner, Green River, Born on the Bayou, Hey Tonight.... And then try Fogerty solo Centerfield, Rock and Roll Girls, Old Man Down the Road.
“Sweet Hitchhiker” 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Please & thank you🙂
This is one of my all-time favorite songs from CCR!!
Did a lot of partying to CCR when I was younger...great party music!!!! I was lucky to be a teenager in the’70s!!! 🖖🏻🇨🇦💥🥰
On my way to college for the first time in fall of 1970 listening to Creedence, Zep and Steppenwolf on 8 Track. Fun times!
CCR is Americana. Their music has withstood the test of time. Truly classic.
Life was so much more carefree in general last half of 20th century. Mostly fun and joyful, the music made to reflect good times
Hey Guys, you gotta react to their all out jam tune "Keep On Chooglin"... It will get you moving like you woun't believe it ..IT"S A BANGER...
So so many great songs from this band! Enjoy.
Long As I Can See The Light is blues perfection
Their ability to create amazing music was extraordinary. They released three albums in 1969, and all three were filled with great song after great song.
You boys are two....WILD AND CRAZY GUYS!
"hey tonight","up around the bend","midnight special","Suzy Q","I put a spell on you","long as I can see the light" and many more classics ☮️
John Fogerty's voice is amazing ♥️ Must react to "Down on the Corner" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" ! You'll love them both, I promise.
FOGERTY HAD THAT AWESOME VOICE FOIR SURE, LOTSAAAA LOTSA GR8 SONTGS TOO OF COURSE! :)
Who’ll stop the rain, you’ll love it. I truly enjoy are reactions 🎶🎶🎶💕
CCR is such a great band and they were only together for 2 years. They had about 20 hit songs in that period! Amazing timeless music. Try listening to Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Run through the Jungle, Born on the Bayou, Bad Moon Rising, Have you ever seen the rain, Travelin Band, I put a Spell on You, Lodi, Long as I can see the Light, Sweet Hitchhiker, Green River, Hey Tonight..... There are more
Listen to the lyrics. The character in the song is hallucinating. It's a great song.
You should listen to Heard it through the grapevine. Its fantastic.
"BORN ON THE BAYOU" WILL HAVE YOU WET YOUR PANTS. One of the greatest vocal performances ever. And dirty, dirty, dirty swampy riffs.
These guys are from my back yard here in the San Francisco area. I'm 73 years old, been collecting records since 1955. I've been a fan of these guys since 1968 and have seen them numerous times. ... as they say; I may be old but I've seen all the great bands. Somewhere down the line I hope you react to Joe Bonamassa... may I suggest "Angel of Mercy" live from the Greek Theater. Guaranteed to blow you away.
I think I was in San Francisco when I first heard these guys. They had a cool sound. 1968 or 1969? Somewhere in there.
These guys are from right down the freeway from where I live, El Cerrito, California. God I love being from the Bay Area! So much good music!
One of CCR"s best - " Born On The Bayou " . Brilliant swamp rock.
“Born on the bayou” next please! #Creedence
YOU CAN TAKE SO MANYYYYY SONGS BETWEEN 65-85 AND IT'S JUST WHEN MUSIC WAS AT IT'S VERYYYYY BEST TALENT WISE, CREATIVENESS AND SO MUCH MORE YOU GUYS! :) `1,000'S OF SONGS TO LISTEN TO THANK GODDDD!
They were the masters of the short hit single. It's definitely feel-good music.
John Fogerty has posted acoustic music during the pandemic, just him playing an acoustic guitar and singing. He's still such a phenomenal talent!
Bands used to put in these fake endings to mess with DJ's, who would start to speak, only for the music to start up again!
Icons...Swamp Music! 😎👏👏👏👏👏
CCR is a legendary band that you should familiarize yourself with, in general.
I grew up listening to CCR I love them
Thank you guys for the happiness at night )) life is beautiful
It's amazing how many hits they had in such a short time!
You are so right the sixties and seventies had the best music and the best cars. Fun times.
This came out when I was still pretty young. We only had AM radio in the Dodge wagon. The reception would fade out every time we went under a bridge or overpass and come back when we were through it. That would be 1970 Los Angeles if I were able to take you back in time to where I was. Old LA was the best.
6 albums in 2 years, at least one hit on each. Swamp rock!
I have been a major fan for more than 30 years
I loved them in 1969-70.
This was my favorite when I was a kid. Then I got older & explored the rest
Born on the Bayou is a good choice for the next Creedence.
You won't be disappointed.
The 90% of CCR songs was a hit.
You have to listen to their cover of “Heard it through the grapevine!”
I think at this point you should react to "Teach your children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young from their album "Deja vu"
You might ask yourselves why John mentions 'Buck Owens' by name in the song. 'Put a spell on you' is another great CCR song.
John Fogerty wrote this for his then 3 year old son. Fogerty said he got the inspiration from Dr. Seuss ....
CCR and lead singer John Fogerty are awesome! You might also like their songs "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" and "Down on the Corner" and "Proud Mary."
I really enjoy your reactions.....thank you!
Beautiful reaction to a beautiful song.
Thanks guys!...never heard this song but loved it and also listening to your reaction👍
Guys - this song is essentially about BEING AT YOUR DACHA !!!
Love your channel. Your reactions.keep it up guys🙂😀😀😃
Sweet hitchhiker by CCR is a banger!!!
LOVE CCR!!
Check out "Up Around the Bend"
The slide riff is legendary for a reason, but there are so many great tunes from these boys.
amazing and honest reaction to a wonderful tune
CCR = 🔥🔥🔥
It Came Out Of The Sky is a rocker and Long As I Can See The Light is a cool ballad by them.
One of my favorite songs by CCR!! Good stuff 🙂 Buck Owens...
Love all CCR
John Forgerty the lead singer is in his 70ty's and still singing and giving concerts and sounding as good as ever.
Their best: Born on a Bayou & Have You Ever Seen Rain & their protest song Fortunate Son
I Put A Spell On You us another great one by them .Also Down On The Corner, Up Around The Bend, Traveling Band , Suzie Q, and many more 👏👍👍🎸
Music is timeless. If I could take you back to the ‘60’s you might enjoy it,but then again there has been so many inventions and tech advances, you would be amazed at what we have now but not then.
Great reaction! Creedence Clearwater Revival's (CCR) "Proud Mary". please. It's one of my favorites. It's probably one of the more known one because Tina and Ike Turner did a cover that won a Grammy. CCR's cover of Motown's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" is excellent as well.
