I remember this was a big deal on Access Hollywood and Extra. Everyone was prepared for the star studded cast for Spider-Man 4 and 5 and just like that it was scrapped.
We were so close in getting Sam Raimi's Spider Man 4 tho. Shame that we didn't got one but I guess it's understandable why cuz Sony did Raimi so dirty 😭😭
True DC did that , Sony did that , Fox did it ( pre-Disney era ) & Paramount did it for transformers. They all failed that’s why one of them decided to reboot there universe cough DC cough 😷. Only Marvel succeeded because they had a plan. Everyone else was jealous and wanted to ketchup.

Amazing Spiderman 3 Should Have happened. It would have been Amazing. And this might be an unpopular opinion, but AS2 was a good movie. This while series really deserved a better treatment from fans and the studio as well.
Man I remember as a kid looking forward to news of Spider-Man 4… I love that original trilogy with Tobey (3rd included - even with it’s faults) I think it warranted a 4th film. I really hope Tobey and Garfield are in the new Spider-Man No Way Home.. at this point anything less will be a MASSIVE disappointment.

Justice League Mortal actually had a cool plot And had a team that was very faithful to the original team from the comics And had a cool fight with Superman fighting The League

agreed, despite what critics seemed to think I actually liked Green Lantern. It had an interesting story to me and i loved the the sinestro hook as well as the villain. though i do agree that alot of the CGI effects looked unfinished and rushed and the end version of paralax looked terri-bad
I do remember hearing about plans for an X-Men origins movie about Storm. With recent movies about the origins of Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, and Black Widow, etc., maybe someday we’ll get that movie too.
I really hope they do a Batman beyond series one day with Keaton reprising Batman and a younger actor playing Terry Meginus. Maybe one day it will happen maybe it’s just something us fans will always hope for

Fun fact the storyline from the comics that was chosen to be adapted for the Gambit film before Disney bought Fox was the fan-favorite "War of Thieves and Assassins" storyline, plus Channing Tatum himself stated in an interview that he was practicing getting the iconic Cajun Accent right stating he was drawing from various cartoons and video games including the 90s X-Men Cartoon just to get the iconic accent right.
I actually really enjoyed Green Lantern and would have loved to see where they could’ve gone story wise with Sinestro. Mark Strong did an amazing job portraying my favorite DC comics villain.
I've always had a "Spider-Man 4"-sized pit in my stomach since 2007 (even though I do enjoy the two Marc Webb films and the MCU Spidey flicks). Here's hoping "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will rectify this...somehow.
James Cameron wrote a script for spiderman in the early 90's. It was set to star Leo Dicaprio as Peter Parker, kevin spacey as the green goblin as well as lance henriksen, bill paxton and michael bien as other mrmbers of the six. Also, the obligatory 90's action star would have been Arnie himself as Otto Octavius. Kinda glad that never got past the script stage.
My sister and I enjoyed Green Lantern, the actress was looking forward to play Star Sapphire; it also brought in an original character we c in the staff meeting, a woman lantern with an expose abdomen, wing-like ears and purple skin; her story is told in film related comics. Gambit did get a small webfilm of 20 mins but cool and awesome, u can watch on RUclips. Another canceled film that should b mentioned is 2005's Fantastic Four 3, Jessica Alba was excited to bring in Franklin Richards (Reed and Sue's son).
@@BarneyStinson8383 That’s not exactly fair. Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke only had a couple of scenes in Justice League, he was never given a moment to truly shine. In Ben Affleck’s case, he was a good Batman in movies that suffered under bad direction or studio meddling.
Okay Gambit I'd love to see that movie because he's one of the few X-Men on the main team that I don't know much about like how did he get his powers? why did he choose cards for his energy attacks? And more importantly how the heck did he and Rogue become lovers? Is he immune to her energy absorption or is it that it doesn't really hurt him when he kisses her if he's ever done it?
X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a Good Movie, Liev Schreiber's role of Victor Creed/Sabretooth was a Thousand times better than the Guy who played Sabretooth in X-Men 1
I think that Zack Snyder's Justice League Sequels Part 2 and 3 should have been on the list because he gave out countless details like all of Earth's Armies united or Lex Luther detonating a Nuke on Darkseid's Ship. Love him or hate him, he always has a plan for where he wants his films to go to.
Still think the Fantastic Four should be introduced to the MCU similar to Capt. America and Peyton Reed's idea, set in the 60's but they get transported to the Negative Zone with acts differently to the Quantum Zone, in the sense that it may feel like a couple of hours in the Negative Zone, but when they come out, it's 70 years later and the modern day... The only downside of this origin would be figuring out how Doom could make a leap as well, or just have him remain in the modern day and work out his relationship with Reed later.

For quite a while I thought there was a rumor that there was supposed to be a batman movie with Johnny Depp as Riddler. There was also talk about a reboot of The Crow with Jason Momoa. I actually would have really liked to see Robin Williams as Riddler, may he RIP😥 fascinating list BTW
I'd would have loved to seen Burtons 3rd Batman installment. Dark tones is the aesthetics of Batman in general, so God knows why they changed it. Look what happened when they did though. They can only blame themselves. Robin Williams 'Riddler' against Keatons 'Batman' would have been insane.
Batman v Superman with Christian Bale and Brandon Routh. Batman Begins and Superman Returns were one year apart from each other, and SR referenced Gotham. I Am Legend teased BvS with Routh’s Superman logo on the billboard.

I really wanted to see a Spider-Man 4 but after seeing Spider-Man 3 I was like it’s best that it stopped at 3 because Sony would have made the franchise terrible and would have milked it to death & stopped listening to Sam raimi like what they did for S3.
S3 was better than S2 tho lmao. 😭😭😭 the only thing S2 has going for it is memes, the movie itself as a movie is so damn boring. S3 is a damn good movie and under appreciated.

Sony forced him to keep Venom and he told he never understood the character to the fullest. I read somewhere that because of the 3's backlash he felt depressed and thought he'd make Spider man 4 the best movie he ever made...... But again due to sony's interference he just gave up

Part of the reason, from what I understand, why Raimi’s Spider Man 3 is hated so much is interference from the studio. They wanted Venom and Raimi was going to have The Lizard as the main villain and have Sandman as the secondary villain but, you see who won out.
Gambit was the superhero movie I was looking forward to most out of ALL superhero movies! There was so much they could have done with such an interesting and exciting character as Gambit. I do concur however that Taylor Kitsch was a dreadful choice of actor for Gambit's only movie appearance. And I couldn't imagine Channing Tatum being much better. Gambit was always meant to be tall and svelte, someone you could tell was superhumanly agile just by looking at them. And he always had long hair too which added to his aura of mystery and suited him. Kitsch was too short and too dainty. Tatum while the right height is too heavily built and would look weird with long hair. I would have gone with someone like "Sawyer" from "Lost". Or someone who looks like a young Keanu Reeves!
Justice League Mortal deserves to be on this list. The fact that it was cancelled definitely impacted the DC movie landscape as it could've made a ton of money. It helps that the movie had a great plot, great cast and George Miller as the director. That movie could've definitely been a game changer if it got made but it got cancelled cuz of the people in-charge...

I would've loved to see Tim Burton's Batman Forever. Robin Williams as the Riddler and Billy Dee Williams as Two Face would've been great.

I've always had a "Spider-Man 4"-sized pit in my stomach since 2007 (even though I do enjoy the two Marc Webb films and the MCU Spidey flicks). Here's hoping "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will rectify this...somehow.
The Amazing Spider-Man 3 was teased greatly during the end of the second movie, shame it wasn't continued, it was pretty hype to be honest
James Cameron wrote a script for spiderman in the early 90's. It was set to star Leo Dicaprio as Peter Parker, kevin spacey as the green goblin as well as lance henriksen, bill paxton and michael bien as other mrmbers of the six. Also, the obligatory 90's action star would have been Arnie himself as Otto Octavius. Kinda glad that never got past the script stage.
My sister and I enjoyed Green Lantern, the actress was looking forward to play Star Sapphire; it also brought in an original character we c in the staff meeting, a woman lantern with an expose abdomen, wing-like ears and purple skin; her story is told in film related comics. Gambit did get a small webfilm of 20 mins but cool and awesome, u can watch on RUclips. Another canceled film that should b mentioned is 2005's Fantastic Four 3, Jessica Alba was excited to bring in Franklin Richards (Reed and Sue's son).
Definitely should have continued to make Fantastic 4 movies with that cast. Forget the reboot film.

I wished Ben Affleck made his Batman movie, then we would’ve had a big-screen battle between him and Deathstroke.
Deathstroke looked goofy in that "universe" though.

@@BarneyStinson8383 That’s not exactly fair. Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke only had a couple of scenes in Justice League, he was never given a moment to truly shine. In Ben Affleck’s case, he was a good Batman in movies that suffered under bad direction or studio meddling.

Okay Gambit I'd love to see that movie because he's one of the few X-Men on the main team that I don't know much about like how did he get his powers? why did he choose cards for his energy attacks? And more importantly how the heck did he and Rogue become lovers? Is he immune to her energy absorption or is it that it doesn't really hurt him when he kisses her if he's ever done it?
Rogue eventually becomes able to Turn off her Powers at Will, watch the Ending of the last Episode of X-Men Evolution as a Example

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a Good Movie, Liev Schreiber's role of Victor Creed/Sabretooth was a Thousand times better than the Guy who played Sabretooth in X-Men 1

There are only three canceled superhero movies that I wish had been made. Hellboy III, del Toro's Justice League Dark, and Justice League Mortal.

I think that Zack Snyder's Justice League Sequels Part 2 and 3 should have been on the list because he gave out countless details like all of Earth's Armies united or Lex Luther detonating a Nuke on Darkseid's Ship. Love him or hate him, he always has a plan for where he wants his films to go to.

Still think the Fantastic Four should be introduced to the MCU similar to Capt. America and Peyton Reed's idea, set in the 60's but they get transported to the Negative Zone with acts differently to the Quantum Zone, in the sense that it may feel like a couple of hours in the Negative Zone, but when they come out, it's 70 years later and the modern day... The only downside of this origin would be figuring out how Doom could make a leap as well, or just have him remain in the modern day and work out his relationship with Reed later.

For quite a while I thought there was a rumor that there was supposed to be a batman movie with Johnny Depp as Riddler. There was also talk about a reboot of The Crow with Jason Momoa. I actually would have really liked to see Robin Williams as Riddler, may he RIP😥 fascinating list BTW

I'd would have loved to seen Burtons 3rd Batman installment. Dark tones is the aesthetics of Batman in general, so God knows why they changed it. Look what happened when they did though. They can only blame themselves. Robin Williams 'Riddler' against Keatons 'Batman' would have been insane.
Batman v Superman with Christian Bale and Brandon Routh. Batman Begins and Superman Returns were one year apart from each other, and SR referenced Gotham. I Am Legend teased BvS with Routh’s Superman logo on the billboard.

I really wanted to see a Spider-Man 4 but after seeing Spider-Man 3 I was like it’s best that it stopped at 3 because Sony would have made the franchise terrible and would have milked it to death & stopped listening to Sam raimi like what they did for S3.
S3 was better than S2 tho lmao. 😭😭😭 the only thing S2 has going for it is memes, the movie itself as a movie is so damn boring. S3 is a damn good movie and under appreciated.

I read somewhere that because of the 3's backlash he felt depressed and thought he'd make Spider man 4 the best movie he ever made...... But again due to sony's interference he just gave up

Im I'm 90% sure those to movies happened they would be some of my favourites.
Part of the reason, from what I understand, why Raimi’s Spider Man 3 is hated so much is interference from the studio. They wanted Venom and Raimi was going to have The Lizard as the main villain and have Sandman as the secondary villain but, you see who won out.
Three movies that got canceled that I would’ve loved to see: The Batfledk movie and ZSJL parts 2 and 3

Gambit was the superhero movie I was looking forward to most out of ALL superhero movies! There was so much they could have done with such an interesting and exciting character as Gambit. I do concur however that Taylor Kitsch was a dreadful choice of actor for Gambit's only movie appearance. And I couldn't imagine Channing Tatum being much better. Gambit was always meant to be tall and svelte, someone you could tell was superhumanly agile just by looking at them. And he always had long hair too which added to his aura of mystery and suited him. Kitsch was too short and too dainty. Tatum while the right height is too heavily built and would look weird with long hair. I would have gone with someone like "Sawyer" from "Lost". Or someone who looks like a young Keanu Reeves!
Have to be someone who could pull off the Cajun accent convincingly too.
Justice League Mortal deserves to be on this list. The fact that it was cancelled definitely impacted the DC movie landscape as it could've made a ton of money. It helps that the movie had a great plot, great cast and George Miller as the director. That movie could've definitely been a game changer if it got made but it got cancelled cuz of the people in-charge...
