@@theywouldnthavetocensormei9231 You think a supervillain wouldn't threaten the friends and family who didn't know? You think all these crazy psycho killers would just play fair and not bother with people who don't know the hero's real name? Villains attack bystanders all the time. Uncle Ben died at the start of Spider-Man's career. There's no way he could have known his nephew had just became Spider-Man. And besides, when they know, it would be easier for them to prepare for supervillain attacks then if they didn't know. Could you imagine how scary it would be if you were dating a superhero but didn't know it until that hero's archenemy broke into your house, told you who you were dating and then killed you? Or how much scarier if that supervillain instead of confronting you just sniped at you from across the street without giving you the chance to see your death coming and never knowing the very reason you were assassinated because you didn't know the hero's secret identity while the villain did? The danger of outing secret identities doesn't come from friends knowing, it's the enemies that know it. It's very stupid to think that the hero's friends would be more danger knowing when villains could take advantage of their ignorance and catch them off-guard. In fact, it would be even worse when the villain was the one who told the friend the hero's identity. As long as the villain knows the hero's identity, everyone is in danger whether they know the secret or not. And when the hero tells a friend, the hero could have a helpful ally. And if the villain doesn't know the hero's secret identity and is interrogating everyone for it, the friend not knowing would not help if the villain is killing anyone who didn't have the answer.

What I'd put for honorable mention:
Justice League Doom- Justice League not agreeing with Batman on his reason for contingency plans
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness- Mister Fantastic telling Scarlet Witch about Black Bolt
Spider-Man No Way Home- Peter not thinking through about memory wiping everyone
Spider-Man Far From Home- Giving E.D.I.T.H. to Mysterio whom he known for a few days

    • @autumbreeze1129
      @autumbreeze1129 2 месяца назад +2

I agree except for the No Way Home one.
That's not on Peter, that's on Doctor Strange for not actually explaining how the memory spell worked until AFTER he'd started casting it.
Peter is still a kid (technically) at that point.
He's going to put his faith in adults more easily than another adult would.
If you're a kid and an adult says "I have a plan that will fix everything" when you're desperate, you instinctively trust them because they're the adult, so should know better and you NEED the help.
Strange just needed to explain how the spell worked first. He does it all the time with those who already know how magic works, so why didn't he do it for someone with no concept of how magic works?
If anything, when it's someone who DOESN'T know how the concept of magic works, explaining it should be even higher priority

I don’t agree with Justice League: Doom’. Everything that happened was Batman’s fault. If he didn’t keep contingency plans, or at the very least where anyone could get them, then nothing would’ve happened, so everything his teammates went through, are directly his responsibility. Just like what happened in the movie ‘Batman v. Superman’, where his stupid actions in unnecessarily picking a fight with Superman because of his mistrust and paranoia, they could have prevented the entire plot of the movie from happening.

    • @medafan53

Wanda of that universe was either retired or a civillian, even in Wandavision, what MCU Wanda did appeared to be more of subconcious mind control and an illusion over the top of it, we even we didn't know she could manipulate the body in the way she did the Black Blot and Reed until she did. So neither did the Illuminati.
With that in mind, against anyone other than a reality warper, how is what Reed said "revealing Black Bolt's weakness"? "He can kill you with a single whisper from his mouth" is a brag to say, if he chooses, he can kill you, don't push it.
The illuminati dismissing Wanda as a threat because, based on their own Strange, they think MCU Strange is the bigger mistake is a bad choice, that line is not.

That's like putting your hand in a fire, saying "ow. That hurts. I don't like this. I should pull my hand out"... and then just watching your hand burning in the flames.
From both a character and plot perspective... this was just monumentally stupid

The real question is, why does Gotham allow for The Joker to be sent to Arkham every time he is caught? The argument of him being "Clinically Insane" should be out of the question, especially when there's tons and tons of evidence of him planning to do things, and doing said things, so he can kill hundreds and hundreds of people. Gotham is stupid to think that "An Agent of Chaos" or someone with the nickname "Clown Prince of Crime" can be rehabilitated.

I don't think Batman sparing the Joker was a bad idea, nor does he do it out of adherence to a "code". It's the consequences of what happens if he fails to adhere to the code, not the code itself. If Batman starts to murder criminals, he in fact becomes a criminal. Gotham PD can turn a blind eye to Batman capturing criminals, but when bodies start to pile up, it becomes more serious. Jim Gordan and company will start to hunt the Batman to bring him in for trial, which at the very least would reveal his identity. Bruce Wayne in jail means every criminal that the Batman can't capture because he started down this dark path is partially his fault.

Batman doesn't want to kill Joker or anyone else which is understandable but the fact that Batman saves Joker from justifying killed by someone else is the problem. When someone has a chance to kill Joker, Batman stops them by guilt tripping or arresting them.
Batman also has a knack for giving his criminals a second chance despite what they done. Like how in Injustice Batman gave Harley Quinn a second chance and gave her a spot on the team despite the fact that she played a role in destroying Metropolis.

Challenge of the Superfriends- Superman/Superboy. Origin of Lex Luthor. Superboy and Lex were friends in Smallville. Lex was working on curing Superboy of his Kryptonite weakness. Chemical spill in his lab starts a fire. Superboy is flying nearby, and sees the smoke. He flies down and blows out the fire. Unfortunately with Lex in there the chemicals in the lab splash over him. Lex angrily confronts Superman. Telling him the chemicals caused him to go bald. And he tells Superman that he did on purpose because he was jealous of Luthor. So now they are bitter enemies. Superman created his greatest foe. He should’ve checked to see if anyone was inside before trying to blow out the fire.

If you're talking about comic books as well as movies and shows, then I think the Young Heroes from marvel started a reality TV show where they track down and arrest super villains on TV. This has been various, but the most prolific one was in the beginning of marvel civil war. In order to put on a show the Young Heroes that I believe were the new warriors ransacked a safe house for villains. This led to an explosion which actually triggered the events that pushed the superhuman registration act.
Another one that completely backfired was Batman's contingency plans. In comic books and in the animated movie Justice League Doom, Batman created contingency plans with villains were able to get a hold of. These plans were initially to stop heroes from turning bad. Either though haven't contingency plans against this subject is a good one but he should have actually had a more secure system in place where the villains was not able to get that information.
Working with villains without them trying to redeem themselves. This one is actually part of magneto working with the X-Men in the second X-Men movie. But it's more various. They have been numerous incense is of different villains working with the heroes without trying to redeem themselves. Besides magneto, the Justice League actually trust is like smooth in the Justice League animated series to stop the justice lords. This led to the creation of katniss and likely that tries to become president just to make Superman angry. Also trust in Dr Doom with trying to stop the silver surfer which he betrays them. In fact he doesn't multiple times through the marvel universe.
Trusting the government. Newest times the heroes tried to trust the government but those in power always find a way to do something shady. This was also made into newest medium. One example is Batman The dark Knight returns. In this storyline is it the government used to Superman as it turned and which leads to almost making World war III. In the DC universe also is likely becomes president and the superheroes had to work under the US government. This leads to a eagle statistical man controlling the heroes when the planet is facing a doomsday level event. Also in another fact is that in the mall of the universe the government officials betrays and teams up with bashing to create the prime sentinels through the organization known as operation zero tolerance.
Power rangers the 2017 movie. In the movie the biggest mistake that the rangers made was out of them going up against Rita without mastering the ability to move. This leads to read a caption them interrogating them to find with Zeo crystal is located which leads to one of the rangers dying. It's only through zordon that he resurrects the ranger and then they were able to morph to defeat her. Even though having the crystal hide underneath a donut shop was pretty lame too.
Forcing villains 2 become good. Anytime when a hero tries to brainwash a villain or wiping the memory out always leads to the hero into trouble. One example is safe tooth. And the comic books professor Xavier brainwashes sabertooth to become mild and peace loving but only lasts a short time before he betrays them.

Silly to include the Deadpool one. From the rest of this list, I'm expecting plot logic anomalies and examples of dubious judgment from characters. Forgetting the duffel bag is an oversight, not a decision. Clearly it's also deliberate situational humor and not a case where audiences would hold screenwriters responsible as if for a mistake.
