    Manchester United is the biggest and most prestigious football club in England.
    It was so self sustainable that it took the Glazers 17 years to tear it down.
    For Manchester United to compete properly again and regain ground it lost these 17 years of stagnation, it can only be Qataris as owners.

      At a valuation of £6bn they can only let go of 20% of their 69% shares, that'll only get them £1.2bn.
      Any more than that, and they'll leave themselves open to a hostile takeover.
      They're not taking dividends because the interest on the ~£1bn debt is going to be CRAZY now that the economy is going down the toilet worldwide.

    The wealth isn't going to make THAT much of a difference at first thanks to the FFP Regulations.
    But over the years, it's going to make a BIG difference in United's spending power.
    Just getting rid of the Glazers and the debt will increase the club's revenue by £100m+ per year.
    And we need to find a new shirt sponsor, putting 'Fly Qatar', for example, on the front of the shirt is bound to shatter the shirt sponsorship record. Probably another £100m more to spend.
    And then you have Old Trafford to take into account. The work on Old Trafford and Carrington is going to cost a couple of billion quid, so they have two options: extend and refurbish Old Trafford or build a new stadium.
    Having a 100,000 capacity every match day will probably give United an extra £200m to spend each year. BUT, if United opt to do cosmetic and structural work on Old Trafford, repairing the damage that 18 years of neglect has done, and decide to build a NEW stadium, then they can rent out Old Trafford for rugby, NFL, boxing, wrestling and gigs as well as using Old Trafford when there are fixture clashes between the youth, women's and men's matches.
    And if Jassim puts 'Football Club' back into the club badge next season and releases a Green and Gold second kit, it'll be a licence to print money.
    With all of those changes above we could end up seeing United spending £600m-£700m each year without breaking FFP Regulations.

    • @pabloes588
      @pabloes588 Год назад +1

      Yes it will
      So under current rules the new owners can
      Pay off all existing debts including owed transfer debt
      Can cover £30m of transfer losses for 3 season if he can pay a £10m first payment on 3 transfers then that’s within the rules
      They can use the new sponsor to cover up to 20% of player contracts
      If they exploit the rules they can spend a lot of money each year

    • @xCestLaVie1
      @xCestLaVie1 Год назад +1

      It is going to make a huge difference. Man Utd is over 600mil in debt and has been for 17 years.
      There is no investment by the Glazers, the development, the womens, the stadium are ALL behind by 17 years of progress.
      Now they need to sell to buy, never letting their managers go for their transfer targets. Their front office is a joke, they have trouble signing players that DO want to go there, it takes all summer for that.

    • @Roughpaws_Studio
      @Roughpaws_Studio Год назад

      @xCestLaVie1 My point was that it's going to take time to sort everything out. It isn't going to be a quick fix.
      Some of the ~1bn debt can be paid off on day one, but not all of it, I don't think, because of those FFP Regulations. Any owing transfer money can't be paid off, because that spending, as far as I understand it, will add onto our transfer spend for the Summer. The club credit though, I THINK can be paid off.
      What United needs to do first is lessen our ridiculous wage bill and increase our revenue. We're needing a new shirt sponsor so that should be an easy fix, and ten Hag will almost certainly get rid of 7 or 8 players that will help to get the wage bill down.
      But it's going to take a while to repair all the damage that the Glazers have done over the last 18 years.

      Manchester City during last 10 years have sold over £730Million of first team players and over £350Million of academy players, over £1Billion of player sales alone = self funding club. But everybody will tell you it is all the owners money because they are jealous of city success and cannot run their own clubs properly.

      the Glazers have no interest in club success and will perpetually keep United in debt using high player cost and salaries as leverages to borrow more money.

    NIcely informative, but the title is BS, because they are not yet MUCF's new owners, but you're title states they are. Misleading, and clickbaity. You really should have inserted "prospective" in that title. Otherwise, a solid video. So despite the false title, I still back-slapped the Like button like dirty pimp. 😉

      Glazers will NEVER sell, they use the world wide merchandising to support the rest of their crumbling business empire, while those funds keep coming in they will be staying, simple economics dictate that. The only way they would leave is when the world wide fan base leave.
