@@ChadCarlisle I remember that and he was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Leno told him it was a "great effort" pretty much saying that it sucked. So rude I thought.
This song was played acoustically with just Richie sambora and Jon bon Jovi at the VMA awards. Which was the inspiration to the unplugged series on MTV
The Bon Jovi official video called “ Blaze of Glory” is the companion song to this. Awesome soundtrack for the movie “Young Guns”. Don’t Miss it. !!! 🎶🎶
I went to to Bon Jovi concert back in the 80s it was asome Richie Samboras solos was amazing.. And i collected 10.000 bon Jovi pictures. Greatings from norway 👍🍂🍁❤️🇸🇯
A great rabbit hole to go down! Besides being a great person Jon (and Bon Jovi) take their music seriously but not so much themselves. If you see a few more of their video's where they are having fun you'll see this. This one shows the "glamour" of being a rock star.
Bon Jovi has a ton of hits. The “slippery when wet” album is legendary. Every song on that album is a banger. Pick one and rock out. Also check out one of the bands Bon Jovi brought up with them called Skid Row. Skid Row songs to listen to - 18 and Life, Wasted Time, Monkey Business.
When Richie’s vocal come in...chills! Another legendary song about life on the road - Bob Seger - Turn the Page. Bob is Americana. The Storyteller of Rock.
Blaze of Glory and Santa Fe(Jon Bon Jovi, solo) Dry County, Bed of Roses, Livin' on a prayer, You give love a bad name, Always, Keep the faith..............so many great songs by Bon Jovi.
I remember seeing Bon Jovi live 10 years ago. They teased us leaving stage without playing this song, before they came back on stage for this masterpiece to finish the show
These guys went from bars to stadiums in the blink of an eye.....oh this guitar and the harmony....let’s go! 🎼🎶🎸🎸🎤😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥featured in the movie “ Young guns”.Bon Jovi would go on to write the song for Young guns 2- Blaze of Glory. Check out those videos for a look at how these songs were used in a modern day re-telling of Billy the Kid. The cast is extraordinary as well, both movies. Enjoy.🎸🎼🎶🎵🎤
The line "I've seen a million faces and I've ROCKED them all!" is telling. He's saying no matter how tired they were, they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS gave 115%.
Yes!! EPIC is the correct word! I'm so stoked that this song made you feel better. It's so true how you can be having a rough day, then you put on a certain tune...and your troubles melt away! ❤🤘
Life on the road, damn I love ❤️ this song! The album Slippery When Wet is one of the best albums ever recreated! Love me some Bon Jovi, how about there song It’s My Life, You Give Love A Bad Name and Living On A Prayer!
Took my friend to their concert years ago as surprise. She is a diehard fan. I knew some of their songs, but didn’t own an album. They won me over. Wow. Great in concert! Really admired the drummer who never stopped and Sambora. Jon had him sing one of his hits in big part, and that man can really sing in his own right. My guilty pleasure is Bad Medicine. My gosh that was fun singing in unison with 20000people. Great reaction! 👍🏻👍🏻
Typically in American culture, a Steel Horse means a Motorcycle. But it could in their case mean any means of transportation. But because of the typical association of Steel Horse meaning a motorcycle, this song has definitely become an iconic song to many of us who ride Harley's. At least that is where the song takes me.
Can't go wrong with Bon Jovi......throw a dart at all their music and play....it'll be great. Check out Jon's song he did for movie Young Guns called Blaze of Glory (about Billy the Kid and gang). For more romantic either Bed of Roses or Living on a prayer....I also suggest song from comeback 90s It's my life.....kind of an anthem for young ppl 😊. Stay safe 💗🕊️
John Mellencamp, Pink Houses. I think enough people will want you to react to this artist. Weather it's my song or one of his other ones. He is a great song writer and performer from the 80's.
Helene here.....I’m asking a sincere question here so don’t hate on me people: When people dismiss or sniff at “hair bands of the eighties” are they thinking of Bon Jovi and/or Def Leppard? Because I think they’re both good bands and put out some great songs....and yet so many look down on that music now....both younger people AND folks from my generation who grew up with sixties and seventies music. I mean, I’m a Zeppelin.and Pink Floyd gal to the core, but I think this is a great song and does a fine job, along with the video, of dealing with a subject that many musicians have written about: How touring constantly can literally kill you.
"Blaze Of Glory" is another great song by Jon Bon Jovi, it is a soundtrack for a western movie about Billy the Kid, a real western person from the old west..great song, great video
Hi Bros! You guys ROCK! You both LOVED Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks & she's definitely eye "candy" for guys! However, Jon Bon Jovi (& Richie Sambora) are/were delicious to women EVERYWHERE! That's fair! Lol! Bon Jovi & "steel horses" or motorcycles have always gone hand-in-hand! 🔥🤘
Awe man so happy u feel better George!! Bon Jovi puts on an epic show .. he has an exceptional way contacting with the audience & having them interact with him. A great track here. Bon Jovi formed in 1983 & still going strong. I was blessed to have attended their "This house is not for sale tour" here in Atlanta Georgia Feb of 2017 (VIP tickets). One of the best times of my life srsly!! Thnx for ur amazing BroActions AGAIN!! Stay safe & well .. peace✌🏼🤘🏼
I was a young English teacher back in the days and we made a stage play, a western story with this song playing in the background. 6th graders dressed like cowboys all loving and singing “Dead or alive”. Slippery when wet was my favourite album and yes, you can sing!
Bro's, their "Living on a Prayer" and "You Give Love a Bad Name" are next for you!! Jon Bon Jovi's duet with Jennifer Nettles "Who Says You Can't Go Home" is a great song/video.
You guys are dead on about the meaning of the song! Great song and they have so many of them! Also, the lyrics, “I’ve seen a million faces/And, I rocked them all” is a mic drop moment!
I'm sorry you were having a bad day but music will always help you feel better! Your brother can SING!! I love it when he does!! 😍"You Give Love A Bad Name" is another banger!!
I haven't heard this song before and I love it. Very uplifting as you say. I do like Bon Jovi, they have some great songs. I can relate so much to your comments - I also have felt pretty down now and again during this bloody awful pandemic - lockdowns etc and although things are moving on, it still seems we have such an almighty way to go. It's music that has helped me so much, I'm probably listening to more music now on a daily basis than I've ever done before. Crikey, you need something. I'm glad you're feeling better, George, music has such power to get you out of a fit of the blues! Patrick, my dad's favourite westerns were the spaghetti ones with Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, that was his most favourite. I love it too and the music (Morriconi) is fab! I enjoyed listening to your reactions, guys as usual. Take care.
Love this song, it really gives you a lift, I agree! Really powerful melody with lyrics, brilliant!! Yes you guys should sing too - get those brother harmonies going 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
BANGER of a song!! ❤🔥❤ 💥Enjoyed your backup vocal, Patrick!💥 (NOTE: This song has been the theme song for the TV show "DEADLIEST CATCH" for years, which is based on men braving crab fishing the Bearing Sea with ice, rogue waves, etc. , so going overboard is 99% sure death... Great show.)
"I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all"......awesome!
My favorite line in the video. I always pay close attention waiting for it.
best line of all time in a rock song!!!!
This is a great song. Richie Sambora is so underrated as a guitarist and vocalist.
Absolutely!
💯
He released a solo album where he played a cover of All Along the Watchtower that was amazing.
@@ChadCarlisle I remember that and he was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Leno told him it was a "great effort" pretty much saying that it sucked. So rude I thought.
No kidding ! I can’t believe I’ve never heard it. Thx for letting me know. I’m gonna definitely give it a listen my friend.
Living on a Prayer and You Give Love a Bad Name.
This tune is about the band being on tour, and rarely getting back home. The 'steel horse' is their tour bus or jet...
Richie Sambora.....A true guitar GOD. No question. The solo is this song is short, but man IT IS POWERFUL!!!
This song was played acoustically with just Richie sambora and Jon bon Jovi at the VMA awards. Which was the inspiration to the unplugged series on MTV
I don't think anyone else could have done this song so well.
The Bon Jovi official video called “ Blaze of Glory” is the companion song to this. Awesome soundtrack for the movie “Young Guns”. Don’t Miss it. !!! 🎶🎶
Yes! I LOVE that song! It's my phone's ringtone.
Young Guns 2
"Slippery When Wet" was one of the best albums back in the 80's.
I think New Jersey is even better. Bon Jovi was the best band in the 80´s/mid 90´s
Steel horse references his motorcycle which he enjoyed riding anytime he could.
My Favorite Bon Jovi Song!! Thank you, I needed that lift too.
"Blaze Of Glory" is a really good one from them..! (Young Guns soundtrack)
“Bad Medicine” next from them 🎤🎸💥 That will make you feel better George!
Good one..! "Blaze Of Glory" too.

I saw these guys live a few years ago in Edinburgh Scotland UK, they were amazing.
My favorite concert!!
A great rabbit hole to go down! Besides being a great person Jon (and Bon Jovi) take their music seriously but not so much themselves. If you see a few more of their video's where they are having fun you'll see this.

This song really uplift our spirit
Went to their Slippery When Wet concert it was fantastic !
Jon fractured his vocal cords at one point, didn't know if he'd ever sing again, He recovered
Epic, classic Bon Jovi ! Some of the BEST concerts I ever saw !!! Richie Sambora is my fantasy husband !!!! LOL.
Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora are sometimes referred as the "ghostwriters" for Skid Row's "18 and Life". That song is actually in their style.
When Richie’s vocal come in...chills! Another legendary song about life on the road - Bob Seger - Turn the Page. Bob is Americana. The Storyteller of Rock.
Big time yes for Bob Seger.
This is a great oldie but goodie🎸🎸💖. You guys 🤩🤩
For a real treat listen to the live performance on

You guys are sooooooo cute !!!......and you both sing very well !!......maybe u should have your own band??.....LOL
Try Blaze of Glory! They did that one for a Wrstern movie called Young Guns!
Emilio Estevez wanted to use this song in the movie Young Guns. Jon then wrote Blaze Of Glory for the movie.
