I have a 2016 pioneer 1000 I got a base model and it came with no paddle shifters I'd love to add them is it as simple as buying them used and the switch and plug and play be awesome if so I haven't found to much on it. You seem to know alot about the pioneer

My 2023 Pioneer 1000 rarely displays that the machine is in 4WD on the dashboard when it is running 4WD. Any remedies on that?

Mine was doing that with Turf mode and I was able to fix it by adjusting the cable. I imagine you could do the same thing on the front differential I'll make a video for you

Im having an issue where im in turf and low, and its making a knocking noise when i go from a rolling stop while turning and slowly get back on the gas. Sounds like the diff isnt fully disengaged. I assume this would fix the issue. I believe low gear is also causing part of the problem since i dont notcie this at all in high gear. Are they tied together some how? I find it funny after watching the video because i notice on the dash it will display 2wd lock after going abck to park when im still in turf. Thoughts?

Low gear is not tied together in any way as far as cables or actuators. Two totally separate gearboxes and separate cables. The only thing that is tied together with turf mode is the park but once you get past Park it shouldn't matter anymore. Obviously there is more torque available at the drive shaft going through the differential once you're in low range so that could be related to your symptoms. First thing I would try is definitely messing with the adjustment like I show in this video. If that doesn't fix it, my next guess would be that you have a CV joint issue. Separate issue is that some people do damage the subtransmission usually by not shifting it properly and low gear typically is the issue.

@@MudPuppyOffroad damaging it by shifting while moving I would assume? I'll try adjusting the cable like you showed because it sounds and feels like the diff isn't fully unlocked. It's weird that it only happens in low gear which is why I'm at a loss. Thanks for the replys
