Garmin Zümo XT2 - Is it On or Off

You turn off the ignition switch and the screen of the Garmin Zumo XT2 turns black. Everything looks good. But did the unit really switch off? Why did the internal battery of the Zümo XT2 drain to zero. Why are so many of these units delivered with no charge, making it needed to charge for hours to get it up running.

This happened to my Zumo xt2 and now it won’t re start. Even connected to 12v cradle and holding the on/off button for 30
Seconds will not restart.

You will have to charge the unit for at least 24 hours is my experience.
