- A sheep described as the loneliest in Britain has been rescued after spending over two years stranded at the bottom of a cliff in the Scottish Highlands.
‘Fiona’ was pulled back up the steep slope by a team of five farmers.
The rescue team volunteered to help after Fiona’s owner was unable to reach her.
The isolation doesn’t seem to have impacted her health after receiving a trim and vet check.
“We have all been absolutely blown away by how stress-free she is, how natural she feels around us - she feels completely comfortable,” The Hoof GP Graeme Barker said.
The animal rights activists are hanging around the place that will take care of her, they ought to be ashamed of themselves, this sheep has been rescued & will be looked after like a queen for the rest of her life in a wonderful place, & yet they are still carrying on. 😡 There are other animals out there that need there so called help, go away and find other people to bother, not these people that are actually doing the right thing out of the goodness of their hearts. ❤️
You assume she needed rescuing and that shes goin to a nice place🙄deluded you are
The people who are taking her are brilliant. What is wrong with UK activists, what exactly are they trying to accomplish? They missed their 5 minutes of fame?
@@WhirlyPearlythey are so uneducated, like ugh.
Poor thing! So nice of those farmers to rescue her.
U all are real heroes for rescuing her real heroes God bless u all
Fiona: Bugger, I was just beginning to relax and enjoy myself when these clowns came along and buggered it all up.
Farmers: Looka me mum, we did good huh, huh.
...from animal rights activists faffing about.
She is a good girl
Those farmers are the best people on youtube. Hoof GP and The Sheep game. Best youtube channels ever.
Thank you for saving Fiona! ❤❤❤
What was her first meal? Bet she enjoyed it!
No dithering, no algorithms to muddle through, no finagling government-obstructing decisions to be pondered, just good old-fashioned brute MAN-force with determination and basic equipment saved the day. THANK YOU!
Put those guys in government...😉😉 brilliant job, well done and thank you. She looks amazing now..Bless you all. ❤🐑
And F to the animal rights bozos who did nothing to rescue Fiona and are now making demands.
Great Job Guys. 👍👍
Its great to see some people still have a kind heart and not cruel like the greenies think farmers are.
Definitely, if they have their way no sheep, cows or chickens will exist, at all. At least good farmers give them a life.
He’s the Hoof GP! I watch him trim cow hoofs on RUclips… I don’t know how I got started on that ….
Dr. Pimple popper
@@cindaflame could have been ! 😂 somehow it’s strangely addictive

She is soo pretty and looking friendly
’The Hoof GP' and 'Sheep Game' are but two I recognise and two fantastic RUclips channels. Well done Cammy, Graham and all!
I think Al Couzinns and James Parker are 2 other both artists.
I first heard about this story, on Graeme's own channel, when he was telling us about how he was involved in her rescue.
Awe, I love her.
Long live Fiona!
It’s nice to see some good News every once in a while Thank you Sky News
شكرا للفريق الذي انقذ فيونا
Finally!!!!♥️
She must have felt lonely but also brave with a good will to live. I have sheep- they’re not at all comfortable without companions, it’s stressful for them to be alone so this is impressive!
You are SO right 👍🐑❤️
Well done, boys 👍 🐑
Well done Cammy and team
It’s the Hoof GP! 👍 🐮
Aw I'm so glad they rescued her! What kind souls!
Sad that she was left down there for 2 years. 😢. But, fantastic that these men rescued her. 🎉
The farmer has been trying to get her out, hes consulted with a number of agencies including the Royal Airforce who all advised it was too dangerous. These guys stepped up for poor Fiona. Fortunately she hadn’t lost condition, according to the video The Sheep Game put out she was actually rather chubby under her overgrown wool
@@platedlizard yes. I was impressed with these men for rescuing her. I was thinking how lonely she had been. Do sheep feel lonely? Maybe she was pleased she didn’t have to share her grazing area?
Bless your hearts, Boys! Cheers to Fiona! 🥰💖💞
Thank you for rescuing Fiona! ❤
❤️🇦🇺🦘
Great farmers love it 😊
She’s a wee sweetheart I’m so glad she was saved
Many thanks to the 5 dudes who rescued Fiona! Humanity as its best. Cheers from the USA.
How lovely. Dalscone Farm is a wonderful farm owned by the Best family. The love and care they give to each and every animal is top notch! Fiona will be loved and well cared for throughout the rest of her life!
I’ve always loved sheep, these farmers made me very very happy, this poor girls long days and lonely nights are over.🤗
Good on ya Cammy and Graham
NICE ONE CAMMY!
How wonderful. What a beautiful and tough sheep, surviving so long. Good job humans.
Thank you graham & cammy for saving Fiona ❤❤
"And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost (Luke 15:6). 😊
She is absolutely adoreable!!!
Great job Cammy❤
What a big releif for Fiona safe back to farm, so grateful those farmer team rescue Fiona!
Wow, Fiona stayed in cave for 2 years, poor sheep but finally got sheep out of cave and back to eat right food 😊👍🏻
Love this, thank you farmers
Yes fabulous jib by these lads Graham Barker known to many of us as The Hoof GP on you tube Well done boys
Best report and footage to date. Fiona was rescued :
1. When she ran alongside a kayaker.
2. When others refused to help. Then the lads saved her.🎉
You absolute HEROES for rescuing Fiona 🐑😇😇😇😇😇😇😇🐑❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐑🥰🥰🥰🥰

Finally, some good news in the news.
Love it, well done guys x
Well done Cammy and the guys.
Good work Hoof Man. I just recognized you
Such lovely news! Makes a change. I suggest we get more positive news like this one.😊
So nice to see this rescue , well done
They spelled Graeme’s name wrong. I’m pretty sure it’s Parker not Barker.
❤
♥♥♥
Awe god bless her 🙏 lovely story of her rescue 🐑💞
The rescuers are heros❤But how do they know she lives alone for two years?? Could be more or less, isn't it?? Fiona looked amazing after the wool cut..
Bet she felt great after all that wool removed
Amazing.❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's hilarious she was being dragged up a whole cliff and still managed to eat on the way
can people visit the farm where she's going to? top of my list when I visit Scotland. Wee soul.
A good news story!! No BAAA-DD ending!!
AAAAAAAYYYYYE!!!!!! Shout out to the hoof gp!!! I'm in such a good mood now
Sheep RESC- EWED!!
Great to see ewe also got a haircut, Fiona.
Oh hey! That’s the Hoof GP!
I doubt the sheep even gave it a 2nd thought
Aw....🥰
Need to make a special fiona free jumper from that wool!!!
From being free on a peaceful hill by the sea ,too a stinky old field surrounded by fence and frisky sheep
I thought Graeme's last name was Parker? They have it as Barker at 1:45
Now we just need to find Shrek. 🤣
She would not have been alone for so long if it was in Wales 🤪🤣🤣
Fiona achieved samadhi during her retreat.
Now let's enjoy her in a lovely roast dinner! xD
@Amytadeo - Mo in Italiana 55 Manchester is the requested sheep for slautgher.
UPDATE PLEASE❤
Well cherpy burpy cheap sheep 😂 introduce Fiona to Kris the unhappy sheep 🐑
Nice story but a lot of incorrect facts! He's Graham Parker, not Barker and he's not a farmer so "5 farmers" is incorrect. Also the voice over says "3 years" and your graphic says "2 years". This shouldn't be that hard a story to cover correctly.
She said three years, Sky says two...
Beautiful best story in a long time thanks to the 5 champion farmers free beers to them
Why did it take two years
Stewardship of gods creations is man’s responsibility.
Graeme PARKER, not Parker. @thehoofgp

A brain.
How do they know the sheep was there for 2 years?
A kayaker spotted her a few years ago and found her still there this year, there was a story I saw somewhere.
@@Shazza75 You would think he would have said or done something about it 2 years ago.
WHY..didn't the Kayaker go & live with the sheep? It wouldn't be lonely then & no rescue needed!!
@@kenneththompson8933 Only a kiwi would jump at that opportunity 😂🤣
@@Genesis-007Ewe bet! Nothing like a woolly jumpher...
almost as popular as dolly
why could mountain rescue not do that ? we have the ropes and gear as does the fire and coastguard services. Helicopters? The work of all emergency teams , professional or volunteer is save live, human or animal ?
Would have been tied up with a drama for the government for way too long. It didn't need head-scratching, just five willing farmers to get the job completed. WELL DONE, AND THANK YOU.
OK wait… Why did it take two years? If they could’ve done this two years ago why the hell didn’t they? Lol I think that sheep knew something and they didn’t want her talking once they covered up whatever it was they figured it was safe to bring her back up.
Remote island, she was spotted in 2021 by a passing kayaker who notified the farmer & welfare groups. After a few attempts to find & rescue her by the farmer & welfare groups all failed to locate her. It was believed she had either died or made her way back up the cliff. She wasn't seen again until September 2023 which prompted the latest attempt to find her. This time they got lucky we now know she was sheltering in a cave probably why the other attempt's failed to find her when they looked.
She was a free and proud animale. Now she is no longer free. Said I think.
Sheep are domestic, they aren’t supposed to be wild.
They also live in flocks and have wool that grows continuously, which can affect health if left untouched.
Do they speak English?
Clearly.
Fiona is such a lovely name.
How ironic that resources are used to place this animal in better, safer conditions, while citizens die in the loneliness of poverty or addiction. Truly, it's better to be a Hamas terrorist, with dozens of protests shielding you, than a law-abiding human being.
She had plenty grass, fresh water and a cave to shelter in. She just needed sheared by hand. She was FREE now trapped in a pen.
She wasn’t supposed to be wild, sheep are domestic animals.
She can roam whenever, she’s just now safe and can gave her wool kept at a healthy state.
Please make sure she doesn't wind up on someone's dinner plate!
She won’t be, there’s such thing as pet sheep.
sheep was thinking just leave me thats why i am bleeding here i am lonely i live in uk i need a sheepskin coat
Sure that concret box they placed her is better than the piece of heaven she had been used to... 😢
Humans have this weird thing of always " knowing" what is best for others....... 😮🥵🤐🙄😴🥴
What given shelter
Fed , watered, protected from the elements , companionship....and yet you know better just to leave her on the edge of the cliff
Maybe she liked being alone
Loneliest? Probably doesn't even know she is alive
Probably more aware than half the robots walking around.
Maybe she just want to be alone in the cave..what makes human think that she want to be rescued?
Cause she’s a domestic animal and sheep don’t usually spend time alone very often, they aren’t really meant to be solitary.
And still , exploiting her. EVIL
Nope, she gets to live safely and her wool can be kept at a safe level.
Her wool can also be used to create clothing or other things.
A farm park!!! Why not an animal sanctuary?!!! People still trying to make money off of her. Poor thing.
We don’t have those for sheep. Dalscone is great.
Christ.
A sanctuary is exactly the same, just minus a few things.
Both protect animals and make sure they are happy and healthy.
Pet sheep do exist after all and are well loved, as are any other sheep.
but what will you do after you rescued the sheep? eat her? cut her fur?
She’s away to dalscone farm. She’ll be looked after and fed loads of treats
Shear her wool yearly or whenever necessary, then use the wool for clothing or other things.
What the hell is he saying?
She was in her best place, until we helped. Prolly planned to roll over the edge, when it was her time, then she would have been valuable carrion to the wildlife, but we denied them their food also. Hopefully she's not incinerated. Be better to put her down and make pet food.
