In theory, it was a different time. Forensic science wasn't what it is now. And in a suburban white 'wholesome' community with a non-existing crime rate any idiot would've been able to get away with murder, especially if you're a doctor with access to prescription pads.

@@LO-dm6uf I actually kind of like when people get away with stuff (sometimes) on TV. I know it’s terrible but the act of them getting caught gives me so much anxiety and them making stupid decisions drives me bonkers 😅

And all they would have to do was interview neighbors to know they weren't remotely friendly

@@lukacunningham342 I said nothing about dna lol, of course it wasn’t around then but they’d dust for prints & still had exceptional investigative techniques for the era. This couples actions, prints, having her dog & having a big fresh turned area of soil that in weeks would sink & make a depression would definitely be suspicious. But I know, I know it’s just TV.
