    🔅Welcome🔅
My name is Niki. I am a former high school chemistry & biology public school teacher turned homeschool mom of 4 kiddos. We are a secular homeschooling family, with a laid back schooling style. I'm a busy WAHM who just tries to stay afloat some days. But we would never change a thing!
I would love to get to know you better down in the comments, and I hope you'll stay awhile and chat ❤️

I really appreciate this and your honesty about how some stuff just never happened and other stuff just didn't work---that's real homeschool life! It's nice to know we're not alone in that. It's like that thing about your eyes being bigger than your stomach: I always plan more than we actually have time for. But it's good to dream!

Beautifully put! 100% accurate. And around hear you going to get honest! I think it is really important to share how things real are and not the just the ideal.

I can not thank you enough for introducing me to Big History Project. It is wonderful. Also it is so much less confusing on Khan. Great tip. Thank you so much!

It sounds like you have found a good match for math!!! I’ve gone back to an informal way of teaching my older kids spelling and we are seeing how it works!!! We couldn’t get a history book when it came up in our curriculum so we learned a bit of that topic and started reading the book recently!!! We love science chunks and as a Christian I don’t mind it being neutral!!! My didn’t like the fallacy detective as it wasn’t engaging!!!
