Great work for a first time scissor cut🔥. I would recommend the Regal Gentleman for more tips and trick to cutting only scissor or only razor cuts. When I usually do scissor cut all over I like to start from the top and working my way down, it keeps all the bulky spots from happening, everything blends together a lot smoother, and you don’t have hanging pieces for straight and wavy hair. Can’t wait for your class in Fort Worth!
Definitely need more of these!!!!! Fade videos everywhere, need these out here!!! I've found some good Russian Barber video for scissors but not English so can't follow along... we need more of these!
Thankyou this is really helpful. I'm going to be cutting with scissors for someone who doesn't like going to the barbershop and prefers it done at home, no electric shear. It's that medium length hair, fairly natural cut, like you were saying is not very common. But looks awesome when it suits the person! Karan seems like a friendly person for you to have in the chair :)
Great Job Sean! The d.f.s formula can’t be beaten! Really good at describing what you were doing too! Love how left the hair accents along the hair line between his nape and apex! Really good job for your first long scissor cut!!💪🏼💪🏼
Good job Sir! Don’t see that every day on here but I see clients like that in my shop all the time because my mentor barber is 60 and he has older gentleman that come in on the regular that ask for normal cuts where they wear their hair long. Awesome cut 💯
Was gonna ask for tips for long hair scissor cuts I’m at a new shop and a good number of my clients have long hair and want trims and layers gonna try this out hope you make more like this. 🙌🏽
great video!!! you did such a good job explaining how to section the hair, and the use of the comb! thanks! would love to see one like this on older men and kids! ty Sean
This haircut is dope. I'm going to try this technique Monday when I go back to school. Also, I think we need a very in depth video explaining how and when to do block graduation. I've tried and it makes zero sense to me. LOL
I see you stay grinding 💯 you did your thing love work seeing you and the tomb 45 crew grow is awesome ‼️ thanks for all that you teach to us striving to be better
I do I all over scissor cuts somewhat often but feel like I'm not as confident or proficient at them as I could be, but the techniques you used in the video seemed really efficient and the cut turned out great so I'll have try them
When u have hair that thick its easier if you break your sections down even more. Instead of middle parting and connecting in one go. Split your section and do it in 3 sections either side of that middle parting
Also when doing cross graduation, even though you have two guides essentially to follow, good tension is essential and checking your balance when establishing your profile guide. I used to hate it when i was overdirecting all the time, id find one side was bulkier than the other.
If you ever think of it can you show in one of your videos how to tie in the back/crown when cutting the top when doing block graduation? Nobody shows that and I’m not sure what to do. Like you part the hair down the middle and what happens in the back?? Thanks in advance sir 🙏🏽
When you start the cut it’s sectioned from the crown and everything that goes down is cut in the first perimeter. Then everything that grows forward gets cut as the top
Make sure the skin is clean before you apply it. It shouldn’t come off in his sleep. Head must have been oily or something keeping from it getting in the skin
Dammmmmmn booii u got him looking like he can only get one wife to about to get 8 wives. The neck clean up makes a biiggggg difference too!!! Love this technique you learned and im ready to start using it!!!
Love how Sean keeps it so real! Never stops learning
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This is what I like!!! I'm trying to get into longer styles as well! I am not at all confident with them. Thank you for making this video
It’s definitely different when you’re used to using clippers all day! Nice change of pace though
As a beginner barber getting into scissor work this helped so much
Good to hear!
Way to be vulnerable broski... good technique and advice in this one!
Thank you!

You inspire me so much I love everything your about💯you made me take that first step into cutting and it’s been amazing🤟🏽

Dope scissor cut Sean, and I was wondering what blow dry are u using?
It’s an amazon Dyson knockoff. Will have a video soon on it
Appreciate you for this video it’s was always hard cutting longer hair 🔥🔥
Thanks! Trying to learn it!
Nice work

@@Seancutshair oooohhhhh
Thank you!
As a barber I would have suggested a low taper, beard fade/beard line up for an overall cleaner look.
Maybe next time. He didn’t want any clippers this time it was my test 🤣
the level up is real.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
if you throw on the 3 on the back them grap the bottom back hair and angled it \ / on both sides the back woulda layed out really nice
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
How long did this cut take ? And if you were to make this a separate service from your regular haircuts would you charge more or less? Appreciate it !
About 45 minutes. I think I would charge more since it’s so technical and most barbers can’t do these all scissor cuts.
What trimmer did you use to edge
It’s a stylecraft absolute hitter with the philthy mod and graphite fx blade
Saludes desde Colombia buena técnica 💈🔥💈
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice cut I see the trimmer mod on your trimmers
Dropping a video on it Sunday!
Hey i just bought the tomb 45 no drip and klutch card, used it on my son and it all came off in his sleep like it was never there. Any advice?
Make sure the skin is clean before you apply it. It shouldn’t come off in his sleep. Head must have been oily or something keeping from it getting in the skin
@@Seancutshair Ok ill try that. Thanks alot for the response.
this was great as a upcoming barber this can be a pass in any shop thats not a salon but this def came out clean
For sure is! Wish it didn’t take me 8 years to learn
How long would The Tomb45 shave gel last before drying?
I only rub in the part I’m about to shave. The rest will sit and wait til you are ready to use it
Dammmmmmn booii u got him looking like he can only get one wife to about to get 8 wives. The neck clean up makes a biiggggg difference too!!! Love this technique you learned and im ready to start using it!!!

Nice cut bro. It would have been even better tapering out the back. Lol.
We did the next time!
Gives me a Einstein feel
😜😜😜
Good thing he didn't mind that much hair being cut off. You could of just done the sides with an 8 guard and scissors on top
He got what he asked for lol
Feel like you could have tidied the back up a bit. I understand it's a longer cut but atleast make it clean
Yeah one of those things I saw after the fact. Filming yourself helps you notice stuff like that.
