❤❤❤your fade skills you have helped me so much ive learned nore from your channel than in school intake your lessons to the shop i would love work at your shop 😊😊😊😊😊
I already asked you a question, but I have one more question - which guards did you use to blend the lines together? 4,5 mm open or closed? And then 3mm closed and 1,5mm half open? Thanks in advance
Im still learning ! I love your videos. This is the first one i see called shadow fade. What does that mean exactly. Thank you so much for the content! Youre always very helpful 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Short as possible on the bottom of the fade while still being able to out a line on it. Where a skin fade obviously can’t have a line up since there’s no hair.
Love this cut. I have one question, I cut my own hair and the biggest thing I struggle with is that ditch/lump above and behind the top of the ear.. which within the ditch it’s darker.. On your model here his is not very prevalent. Any tips as I’m always too worried and don’t trust going too hard at it.
@@Seancutshairheya, thanks for your reply!!! I recently think I’ve found a way around to overcome this (sorta) I can’t go too short or high; for eg after the 1st Bald shaver Guideline, I initially have to skip the #No-Guard/Open & #1-guard/Open. I have to go straight to a #2-Guard/open.. about 2 finger widths…..then blend down towards the Bald gradually. So I’m now trying to figure out the combination and best/efficient guards+lever positions to achieve a blend between #2 guard to > Bald. How would you do it/your technique? Thank you again!
Does the different type of blades (fade vs taper) only matter when you are cutting with no guards? Or does it also make a difference when using guards?
Is it only because of the guards lol? I was asking because I've seen all your videos and never noticed if you used them lol I wanted to buy some and check your videos and couldn't find nothing on them 😅
I like how you put that little ad of yourself, that’s pretty cool
Thought so too! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You explained everything well , I’m still learning how cut with shears , your shear work is always helpful 💯
Thanks bro 😎
Still learning how to get better 🙏🏽 Appreciate the side view of the shear work. Learned some gems from this one 💈💯

Good to hear! I didn’t learn anything at school and learned everything I knew from RUclips!
Apprentice here and I recently struggled w a cut similar to this. Great stuff man you make it look easy 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks dude 🙏🏼
fantastic cut, smashed it out of the park. well done, love your work.
Thank you!
hey sean i liked u showing up in the bottom right to show us the shears, it came out nice
Thanks! Made those myself!
thats a badass chop man. well done.
Thank you!
We back... Great Job Sean!
Thank you!!!
Love watching your tutorials 🤟🏾
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice video. You used open lever, then open 3mm and closed 6mm?
More steps than that but those guards yes
Great cut Sean well explained! Appreciate you Sir! Cut was 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! 🙏🏼

I don’t know them by mm so I can’t answer exactly. All my recent videos break it down and show open or closed or half open. Check them out 👌🏻
1 1/2 guard open or closed to blend the upper line? And then 1 guard closed and 1/2 half open?

Great video....what is that tool you used at the end is that a spray bottle with a light? And what is the solution you sprayed?
It’s a tonic gun from Fort Worth barber supply. Spraying level 3 aftershave
@@Seancutshair thank you my friend
very clean and easy to follow tutorial. sry I been gone kids not wanting cuts as of late but I miss the channel 💗
Thanks Rob! Good to see ya back!
Brooooo that GAMMA promotion😆😆😆 soooo soooo fire 🔥 bro! Yes 😆
I thought so too! Not many comments though
Very nice, might switch my hairstyle to that.
Do it!!!
@@Seancutshair I wanted to. My wife said no haha. I’ll keep looking
Kind of an undercut, with the back and right side not blending. Can you do one that blends more? Slick cut though!
I have one that’s more of a connected pompadour. It’s on the channel
If I had the tools and with your instructions i'm sure I'll get or close to the results you did 💯 Great Video.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Nah bro it’s not that simple. Don’t try to make it seem like this doesn’t take any skill
@@Giovany03 With tons of practice my guy

Just have to cut that spot to color so it looks right, may be shorter than the hairs around it

What brand of blow dryer is that? Like the slim line look.
Gamma Xcell
GREAT cut brother!! How do you like that Gamma blow dryer?
It works just fine…kinda miss my Dyson though. Just liked that thing 🤷🏻♂️
Smacked this tutorial 🌍 ☄️🏌🏻

How about what do you call a longer version of shadow fade with low tapers? (not taper fade, light tapers)
Also when I say longer version probably like a 2 to a 1 on the sides rather than too tight
That would just be like a 2 on the sides with a low taper
@@Seancutshair Alr alr good to know thanks. Also can you do a vid on diff between taper fade vs taper vs light tapers?
Definitely some fire.nice bro
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
🥶🥶.. What do you record with Sean?
Canon m50 w’ canon 24-70 lens
Hey Sean what's that blue spray tool that you used in the end?
A tonic gun spraying level 3 aftershave
@@Seancutshair thanks for the quick response Sean
Do you spray cool care or alcohol to your fresh shears?
Alcohol to clean and shear oil every now and then
Does the different type of blades (fade vs taper) only matter when you are cutting with no guards?
Or does it also make a difference when using guards?
It changes everything since the blade underneath is slightly different. Can still cut that way just have to understand where it’s different
What’s the name of the sprayer you used at the end of the cut
Tonic gun from Fort Worth barber supply
@@Seancutshair thank you , I appreciate it
Where to purchase the taper blade
Not sure, check gammaplusna.com or stylecraftus.com
Have you used the cordless andis masters before?
I haven’t. Really had no interest when they came out, hadn’t used a master in years. Don’t like the purple guards
Is it only because of the guards lol? I was asking because I've seen all your videos and never noticed if you used them lol I wanted to buy some and check your videos and couldn't find nothing on them 😅
Clean!
Thank you!
Love the cut and no you weren’t confusing I followed pretty well l learn the ways to mix the level 3 hair products thank you

Not a pomp more like a combover since there is a disconnect on both sides. but decent cut still ☝
I get what you’re saying. Just styled it more like a pomp than a combover
I see thats what I thought
👍👍
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I don’t see how that’s a shadow fade but clean
Shadow fade is just long enough to be lined up 🤷🏻♂️
