Excellent presentation!! I am an adult child of an alcoholic father. I am a RN beginning to pursue my DNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) about to turn 44 yrs old, still trying to heal from the impacts of alcohol from my dad. He is still alive, 79 yrs old, and has been sober for 25 yrs, actively going to AA. Even though he is sober and much healthier now, I still have wounds that are healing. It is a long process. But I believe and I have faith. Thank you!
