Thank you so much for your studies, advancements in cancer treatments, & for sharing! My 17 year old grandson has cancer/adenocarcinoma, I will begin immunotherapy tomorrow, at CHOA. It helps me to understand it better.
Wishing you both all the best, I am currently receiving immunotherapy in Melbourne Australia - The medication is called Nivolumab. It has its side effects but the benefits far outweigh. It's so interesting how it works to combat cancer, much better than chemotherapy.
This is so interesting. I am currently taking Nivolumab in Melbourne Australia after having an esophagectomy. They said I am currently cancer free after chemo/radiotherapy and the operation. The medication has a number of side effects, all quite treatable. The benefits of the medication far outweigh the negatives.
Very important information, thanks for sharing, can you go into who would be a good candidate for this type of therapy? Who would be the best candidate for it? What is the impact economically, is it affordable to the general public?
Antibiotics was prescribed over the phone very early on without seeing me to physically look at my throat et, but my cough was not due to whatever the Dr initially thought. The next few days the antibiotic caused the cancer invading my throat to jump directly into my neck nodes.
Blessing to you, may it go into remission,, and never return! I just got diagnosed 3rd time, non hodgkins Lymphoma large B Cell, a mas on my left Pelvis and 2 nodes on the axilas
