From memory, this is a demonstration by Bruce showing that the karate start-position of hands-and-arms-down position will not be able to block a fast hand strike to the head. Bruce was not trying to hit him. Bruce was showing that, if he had stood closer to the Karate champion,Bruce's hand would have struck before the Karate champion had time to bring his hands up to block. From memory,Bruce was critical of Karate teaching students to start combat in the arms-and-hands-down position.

Watch the whole clip. You're showing the third punch. Victor Moore blocked the first two, which you failed to show. Bruce stated he could punch Victor in the chest. After being blocked twice by Victor, Bruce became angry/embarrassed and instead punched towards his face. He wasn't even close enough to strike Victor. Victor was reacting to these two facts. You are a deceptive presenter. Let this serve to remind people the internet is nothing more than people pushing their own agenda. BTW, I'm a gigantic Bruce Lee fan.

Check out Sifu Anthony arnett he’s won over 4,000 tournaments and survived the streets of Baltimore growing up. Studied under grand master William Chueng who ordained arnett his own style called sport kung fu. GM William Chueng and Bruce Lee studied under Ip man. Bruce Lee was never taught the full system but went off and did his own thing. But he had the principles from ip man which was all that mattered. I know talk is cheap but I’ve trained with a handful of professional level MMA and boxing as well as other friends that run various martial arts skills. There’s something way different about the roots of real Chinese martial art and all we have in America is a corrupted mcdojo form. But Sifu Anthony arnett has the pedigree as proof. But he is getting older and doesn’t have many disciples. I got to train with his kung fu brother who is unnamed but one of the most knowledgeable people on earth.

I agree but is a speculation saying how great Bruce Lee was.
we will never know, he was a martial art master that never fought in competitions.
He is the best martial arts actor of all time- that we know!

Not only that but Bruce had the power behind him to do some serious damage. Speed is one thing but ypu gotta have power too. Bruce had both.
