Great big bear!😂 I never shot a 10mm gun before, but I have had my fair share of experience with the government style of 1911 in good ole .45acp. I'm curious to see how 45 does in comparison to 10mm at the range if you're planning on doing a range day video with it.
Do yourself a favor and get ahold of one. You won’t be disappointed.
Don’t judge but i didn’t know about officer sized 1911’s 😂 the other 2 I did. New to this 1911 stuff. I really like this gun, it’s so hard to pick a 1911 so many of them but I was thinking of Springfield ronin for my first 1911 but this would be nice in 5inch
Great big bear! I like this design. Would rather have a 5" to 7" barrel for 10 Auto, but this Commander length barrel will do.
Nice gun but does It come without the Bear crap on it? I get that’s the name but it’s a bit much for me anyway.i do kinda like the bear scratch marks on the grips if it just had that on both sides and maybe said bear on the slide small that be cool.
I’ve shot +P 255 grain hard cast out of my 1911 and that sucker kicked!!!! I’ve always wanted to try a 10mm 1911 and feel what the recoil impulse is like.

I was in the hunt for a 4.25" 1911 in 10mm. For carry. I have the Springfield Armory TRP in 10mm but that is a haus to carry. Thank you for the video, instantly went to Fusion site👍
Just picked up a Fusion Combat Commander 10mm. No Great Big Bear on it, but a very nice looking piece all the same. Will update on how it fires if I can remember 😉😉

@@mikedawson1907 I'll be taking it to the range next week. I just took my Tisas 45's last time and they performed flawlessly. It has the sweetest trigger of all my 1911's so far.

@@mikedawson1907 Finally took the Fusion Combat Commander 10mm to the range and I was disappointed. It had a couple weird fail to feed jams and it seemed to shoot high left by a few inches at 5.5 yards. I tried 2 types of ammo . Also had some slide lock-backs which ^may* have been shooter off hand thumb related, but overall this was a used pistol and I don't know what it experienced before I got it. I plan to send it back to Fusion to have them inspect it. I only ran about 40 rounds, and didn't want to waste any more ammo with it. I'll go back to my TRP Operator 10mm which shoots awesome.
This could be my first 1911.!! I have a P938 Legion so I know about the "idiot scratch" 😂
I am however trying to find a 1 piece guide rod, although mine hasn't unscrewed after 500 rounds. It came Dec. 10th, I haven't put it in but I've got it just in case! 👍

To touch on the rattle is good. I have a rock island GI basic .45ACP. Friend of mine came to shoot and whips out the Kimber and Colt. Nice pistols. He also had a pile of OLD cheap rounds to burn up. He could not get the higher end pistols to function. Meanwhile I was mag dumping with his trash ammo. I told him that was the drawback to a tight tolerance firearm. Po-boy wins!
Yes Fusion ships their guns with copious amounts of oil. Bob Serva will tell you to run your Fusion wet to keep it happy.
And I concur. Lube is your friend.

It's Commander. COMMANDO is a a special ops guy. And when you don't wear underwear. 1911s are in 3 main sizes.
1 Government 5 inch barrel, full size frame
2.Commander 4.25 inch Barrel full size frame
3.Officer 3.1 to 3.5 inch barrel, cut down frame.
Lmao...Jmb had a big part in designing it!? It is his design period... Also he redefined it as well when the government asked him too.

I only own a Browning .22 1911. All large caliber 1911's ive handled have much larger than needed grips, like 20-30% larger than anything else in the same caliber. If someone fixes that issue I might get one.
How do you mean bigger? The 1911 is probably one of the thinnest full-size pistols. They conceal very well. A glock 19 has a grip width of 1.18 inches and a 1911 with thin profile grips is something like 1.04 inches. They don't have huge grips.
@@rainworks5155 thinner but 1/2" wider. That's what is wrong with those .50 cal desert eagles, only 1 in 20 people have giant hands
@@MichaelKMorris Where are you getting that number? I just took a caliper to both and the 1911 is most certainly not 1/2 inch wider. The difference in width is completely negligible. Comparing a deagle to a 1911 for size is a bad comparison.
@rainworks5155 like I said, any I've handled. Not that I have shot very many, very few actually. All of them were much wider than my glocks or revolvers, even awkward to hold and point.

i have the Fusion 10mm, great gun, they could of done better with the bag though
