- Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! Today, we survey and help clean up after some severe storms with "straight line winds" and possibly an unconfirmed tornado pass through our area. We take our flagship #11, Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries, Century 1150R heavy rotator towing and recovery unit to set up another trailer that has been rolled by the storms. I take Oscar along with me to "teach him the ropes." He is a fast learner and a hard worker. I'm very glad to have him on our team. Watch to see how we tackle this situation!! I hope you all enjoy this video!!! Thanks for watching and God bless!!!

My common analogy, "there are many ways to reach 10". I could have approached this (any) job several different ways. The approach method is important, but more important is achieving the desired result, safely.
Again, a very special thank you to all my viewers, family, and friends who having taken the time to show their support. May God bless and protect you all!!!

Oscar seems to be the best self motivated young person you,ve had for some time. He's a keeper.
I was thinking he reminds me a lot of Mike when he first started.
I agree! Does he have previous experience in the industry?
How do one flip an empty 53 foot trailer in a flat parking lot.
@@kevinmoore8106 easily with heavy winds. trailers are very light with a large sail area. I've seen them blow over going down an interstate.
Ditto!!
Oscar is always looking for things to do. He is internally motivated. I always looked for that in people. He is learning the ropes but he is also assessing the situation. Great Job
Enjoyed watching the video Ron 😊
Ron. I was a forensic professional here in Australia for 35 years plus. I love the way you explain processes to your employees, but then asked the question I asked of all of my trainees: "so what would you do?" That to me, is respect for the person learning, and then guiding them, but you can't achieve that if the person you are talking to is not listening. Oscar listens, looks, and suggests. He is an asset to you. God bless
Loving this guy Oscar. He's a real self starter and acts like he has been doing this a long time. From what I saw, the only thing he needs is learning where everything is stored on Tator. Other than that, he was on top of everything and you didn't have to tell him step by step how to do what you wanted. Like that he had the push pole ready and moved around like he didn't have sandbags in his pants. Great job Ron, and great pick for a new helper!
@Rags722 Kindly allow me to agree with your comment.
Must say I loved the sandbags in his pants comment. 😂😂
I was thinking of making a remark on how quickly Oscar is catching on and you included it in the video. So glad you found him as good employees are hard to find. He stays busy, looks ahead to see what’s going to be needed and hustles. I know you will reward him appropriately. Hope he will be a long-term part of your business.
Poor trailer. She was just tired, laid over for a nappy. Some say it’s rare to see a trailer resting in the wild. Good roll, Ron, you’re a wizard at the controls. Oscar seems like the kind of new guy everyone wants! Fast-learner and an eagerness to work. Stay safe! Hope I never have to meet ya’ll on the side of the road somewhere but if I ever do, I know I’ll be in good hands!
Oscar is a great addition to your team. He did a fantastic job on the rigging like this isn't his first rodeo. He is worth the time to train and keep him in the family. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
Perfect job to train New members/rookies, no trafic, no power lines and no rush. Well done my friend
I just love how to communicate with your crew. Oscar seems to be doing a great job to.
🌬Wind blows it over in a second but it takes alot of work to upright it again 😁
Your helper Oscar is bright, takes initiative, and is willing to learn different ideas and ways of getting the job done. He's a keeper Ron.
Another successful recovery. Oscar is learning pretty fast there. Made a good decision in hiring him.
Hiring Oscar was an Excellent job, he gets right after anything you tell him to do, and gets it done safely, and doesn't stand there thinking about it, A Very Good Worker
Hmmm... No "arc nemesis", no tight spaces, no zooming traffic. Gotta love these jobs! A good teaching situation for Oscar. I'll be anxious to see more of him helping out. I pray your entire family and crew are doing well.
Stay safe and healthy.
i think it helps that Ron seems to be an awesome teacher
As usual, setup and teardown took longer than the actual lift. Nicely done, Ron and Oscar.
Use simple hookups so it is easier to tear down..... As the chain binds behind the tire. 😊
Saw that too, laughed in my drink @@GeorgeZ213
Oscar acts like he has been doing this for a long time! He is very motivated and eager to learn. You guys did a great job.
Very impressed with Oscar, he only needs to be given instruction once, he never stands around just watching, he getting stuck-in and appears well motivated. 🇺🇸🇬🇧👍
Got out of the truck putting on his work gloves. Every minute wasted is money gone.
Keep up with the good work love watching you on RUclips god bless
Oscar looks to be a great worker that has a clue about things in general. He used the catch pole to move lines around without really being told. Let's hope he's a keeper for you!! Great video.
Hi Ron, it's great that your gaining more members to your Staff. From the last video where we saw glimpse of Oscar working that other trailer rollover. It seems that you've got yourself another hard working member just like Mike. Praying for you and all the gang of your Company. Great catch Oscar, as Ron said always be on the watchout foe things like that and be aware young mam.👍👍
Oscar seems very safety conscious and we all know how much you appreciate that Ron. Even with no load on the winch line at the nose of the trailer, he still used the pole to move the line into the proper position.
As always, be safe and God bless you, your crew and your equipment!
Oscar a keeper for sure ❤great video. Oscar needs a hard hat.
Hi, I am very impressed with Oscar, he reminds me of a young Raymond with the way he works and thinks on his feet and gets in and does what needs doing!! Doesn't have to be told to do what is needed! Great Job Oscar
Stay safe and God bless! And welcome to the team Oscar
#wherestalon
Oscar proves again how great a hire you have made. Such a great catch seeing the problem with the "catch". He is self motivated and a quick learner. Another safe job Ron and crew!!
The old rotator is starting to show some wear on various components. and yes -Oscar is one of the good ones - seems to have some experience in recovery operations. good choice Ron - excellent work Oscar.
This is one of those fields where you can learn to operate the machine in a class, but you can only learn the job by doing the job.
Ron is in full masterclass professor mode here. Oscar is a good willing student, too.
I love watching your videos and content Ron!
Excellent job and great safety catch by Oscar!
awesome job Mr Ron and Mr Oscar good teamwork God bless you all stay safe out there 👍
Love watching you Ron & your Employees you make things seem easy may God continue to keep you & your Employees Safe In His Loving Arms. Sincerely Terry Pinley & Family From Ada Oklahoma
Ron, Well done! Oscar is a bright and willing young man. He's a great addition to your team. Awwww, let him stick around, lol.
I don't usually commit on these things but you video's help break this Navy vets, days when my mind just doesn't work like it use to. I leave you with this Semper Gumby meaning always flexible and keep the black side down white up.
Totally forgot. End of week, another recovery to start the weekend. Always great.
Another great job by Ron and his crew Oscar 😂is going to be a great addition God bless and stay safe
You gotta keep her there he’s a hustler and he listens👍
Nice work. Glad Oscar is working out well.
A couple of quick fairly easy jobs. Thamkfully the storm Hun on Sunday. That minimized ijuriesçby a significant ammount! Good job Ron & crew. 8
Nice safe off the road video Ron... Great no stress location for Oscar to learn about the workings of the equipment and how and where to use everything.
Oscar is a great find. My guess is he has been watching your videos before you hired him. You two are already a good team.
I was thinking what others are saying about Oscar, he seems best to be self motivated person on your crew in a long time.
It's good to see that Oscar's initial choice of chain for the rigging was to err on the side of caution. And seeing him looking for the hazards and keeping well away from them shows that he's not going to be taking any safety shortcuts.
Aversion to unnecessary risk is a desirable trait in your industry.
I'll agree with everything everyone has said about Oscar - great hire!
Another great job done by you Ron and Oscar.
And no overhead power lines to worry about for a change
Great way to start a Friday morning early, trailer uprighting, thumbs up glad to come along
I think this Oscar is a natural !!! Well done !! Greetings from Australia
Oscar seems to have a good eye and attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing him more...
Oscar is a young operator with a good head on his shoulders and willingness to learn. He is learning from the best.
Oscar is a very good new teammate! Lucky you to have him!
:D I love you having to explain to Oscar my hack of the zip tie threader.. Autistic ingenuity is so useful sometimes. I hope to come up with more ways to make your job easier in the future.
Easy peasy Japanesy. Oscar listens and knows what to do. He will be a great worker for your business.
Oscar has been doing this for awhile, he knows what he's doing. What a great addition to your company!
Another perfect job! Eazy Peazy! Stay safe, healthy, and hydrated.
I like how Ron teaches his employees. Great job Ron and Oscar
Ron that works great man I love your I love to watch you man I love to watch you work
I really enjoy your videos buddy. Your great videos of her perfect buddy. I love you Stuff
glade to see the drag winch is getting some love.
If you've got multiple different lengths of chains for each size, you could use different colored electrical tape to mark them and make it easier to tell which is which. Just put a piece on the first link by the hooks so you can see it at a glance while it's on the holder without having to pull them out.
Ron, Oscar seems to know what he is doing, I think it was a great hire
Mr Ron Thanks for sharing and stay safe
That truck has some insane reach!!
Oscar seems to know his physics. Good job!
Love your family and the videos
Nice easy job and a good one for training a new man ! And as always safely done ! 👍👍

Nice job Ron! I like Oscar's focus and ability to listen, understand and carry out instructions.
Thank you Ron Pratt
Better do what you can to keep Oscar!! God Bless
Great to see more employees on jobs with you. Where is Mike? Not seen him on any videos for a long while now
I think I read a reply in the comments a while ago that he moved away for family reasons
A neat job Oscar, a good worker👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤪🤪🤪🙏🇬🇧

Awesome job Ron
Just wanted to give a little love to Oscar just like everybody else has already done and I know you going to do great for the company just like all the rest of the wonderful people at Midwest truck
All supervisors should be like you because you are so patient and kind to all your staff and and you also ask them for their input on the situation. I am so glad that I had seen your you tube page. Since I seen the first one I just keep watching to see if you put more on so I can watch them. How often do you post on here?
A new video is released almost every Friday. Occasionally there’s one mid week but not often.
I was thinking you were a little too far forward and out. Good job ron and Oscar
Was just going to say that the drag winch
is working finally 😊
Oscar is learning the ropes fast. A little more time working with you on the rotator & he'll figure out where everything is stored. Nice, smooth roll. Once again, very nice job.
Nice work Ron , that looked easy..
Looks like he should be a great addition to the crew
Very nice work u 2 thanks Ron😊
Ahhh what a relaxing sound...chains
Good job Oscar!!
I like watching your channel. I have a suggestion while watching another channels. I seen something that I haven’t seen on your channel. These guys had a camera on the end of the boom. It was a nice angel. I would rather watch yours because these people had no explanation on what they were doing. Just went from one angle to another. Didn’t show how there hooking it up and why. Just watching them pull.
Keep them coming. Thanks.
Awesome job as always!!!!
Welcome Oscar!!
