We have a PHENOMENAL relationship with our local warden. We invite him out to our club yearly for a meet/greet and get him to explain any new law changes or proposals. He wants us to video any exchanges with non hunters like this so he can prosecute. In our state driving down the road beeping the horn is harassment and he has successfully prosecuted people for it.
Deer are most active during sunrise and dusk. During the day and in the middle of the night they ruminate. They definitely become very active if there are predators running around.
Some people fail to realize the value of the Golden Rule. Just imagine how much more friendly our society could be due to it. Besides, anyone who harasses other hunters is telling the world that he has no knowledge, no skills, no honor, and that he considers himself more important than God.
One thing you might consider when you encounter someone like that. I know some folks who lost hundreds of acres through eminent domain acquisition by the government of their land. Most of em are a little bitter. Don't know if that's the case here, but I've seen it happen to a lot of people. Mostly with National Forest, but I can't say I wouldn't be bitter myself.

Good ole game wardens. Always seem to be around to harrass you when you're doing nothing wrong. Don't call you back for 3 days when you need to report something to them.
I’m guessing this is rage bait but the only difference between a RUclips hunter and a regular hunter is a go pro attached to their gear. That’s like getting mad because someone has a headlamp instead of a flashlight. It doesn’t affect you, most hunters don’t share coordinates of GOOD hunting locations outside of their buddies
I was walking along a creek going to the beaver damn for rainbow trout and all of a sudden there was a hunter with bow just 8 feet in front of me. I had no idea it was bow season so I was surprised.
Which will probably be found now that this video is up, unless they removed it after the 2 hunters left. Or the game warden finally shows up to do an investigation and they find it.
I had to check a neighbor hard last week. He had the audacity to cut the gate chain and install his own lock. Cardinal rule you don't cut fence to hunt! Once confronted he started spouting off about the hunter harassment, and how he was going to have me arrested. He was the one who was cited with permanent trespassing ticket!
People didn’t act like this in the 90s. There was consequences and the law didn’t generally get involved. Jerk- “he fattened my lip” Sheriff-“why” Jerk-“cause I didn’t want him hunting” Sheriff-“your lucky that’s all you got”
This is part of the reason that I’m not against public land cell cam bans. Twice I’ve had encounters like this where people try to purposely mess up my hunt or come looking for me after I walked past a cam that sent them a picture of me in real time. If it wasn’t for those cell cams they wouldn’t even know I was there. I don’t see cams as that much of an unfair advantage when it comes to actually hunting the deer. My problem has always been the safety/privacy issues that come up when they’re placed all over public land that people get possessive over.
I’ve had it happen to me without being on anyones cell cam. When you are in public there is no expectation of privacy. Cell Cams aren’t the problem, people with a false sense of ownership are.
@@Son_of_Virginia and cell cams are too powerful of a tool in the hands of those clowns. I’m not saying that it happens exclusively because of cell cams, but with lazy, possessive hunters plastering them all over public land it’s going to start happening a hell of a lot more. Don’t be surprised when the bans come. And as far as privacy goes, I mean the ability to enjoy the land without being under someone else’s surveillance.
@@Son_of_Virginiathose possessive hunters are plastering public land in surveillance. I’m not saying that harassment only happens because of cell cams, I’m saying that it’s going to start happening A LOT more because cell cams are the perfect tool for those kind of clowns to use to their advantage. As far as privacy, I understand it’s public land, but I’m referring to my ability to use it without being under someone else’s real time surveillance. How long before people start flattening tires and breaking windows because they know when and where you are in the woods. It just seems like the disadvantages to public land hunting as a whole outweigh the advantages to the individual hunter.

The bad part about these situations is when you're up in the tree who is watching the car/truck?
If this happened to me these guys would be under a mulch pile. You are more patient than most.
They are lucky they ran into you rather than someone else who lives by the old saying, "the woods are deep and the lime is cheap" 😆
I agree with a guy from an earlier comment call the police, game wardens are always “too busy” but once the police call them they’re free as can be.
It's so loud in those woods next to the highway that nobody would ever hear that guy scream as you swap an arrow for a sharp stick 😉
Send it !!!😂I felt like I was watching an episode of sling blade
Deer are most active during sunrise and dusk. During the day and in the middle of the night they ruminate. They definitely become very active if there are predators running around.
Hey Mr. Bottle Picker Upper! There's one over here, right under me!
( Zipppp, Pssssssssss...)
That ain't rain, heehee
Some people fail to realize the value of the Golden Rule. Just imagine how much more friendly our society could be due to it. Besides, anyone who harasses other hunters is telling the world that he has no knowledge, no skills, no honor, and that he considers himself more important than God.
I’d come back next day with some pepper balls
It is good to have some closer or satisfying update to go along with your video. I got to the end and nothing!😮😢
Disappointed!
The problem wuth people like this ,,is that they think this public property belongs to them when it backs up to there property
Smoking while deer hunting. I had a buddy who did this. He never once shot a deer or saw one due to him smoking. His claim was there were no deer in that area. LOL!
Don't call the game warden call the police and tell them your in a confrontation and you have a weapon
Absolutely this. Warden can be involved on the back end but call the regular cops first
Game warden has more authority then the police
When my oldest son was about 8 I was trying to introduce him to deer hunting. We went out to some public land. I had a group of deliverance looking guys come up to me and tell me that was their hunting land it would be unfortunate if I didn't leave I might have a accident. I took my kid and left. My kids never got into it and I pretty much gave up hunting after that.
They probably got their dope stashed under that bridge! Lol
Good ole game wardens. Always seem to be around to harrass you when you're doing nothing wrong. Don't call you back for 3 days when you need to report something to them.
I can relate with the guy. All us public land turkey hunters feel the same way when a RUclipsr shows up and ruins our area.
Ruins your area?. It's public land numnuts 🦌
Ain't nothing on public land that's your area you dumbf**k
I’m guessing this is rage bait but the only difference between a RUclips hunter and a regular hunter is a go pro attached to their gear. That’s like getting mad because someone has a headlamp instead of a flashlight. It doesn’t affect you, most hunters don’t share coordinates of GOOD hunting locations outside of their buddies
Go pluck yourself!
I was waiting for the dude in the brown shirt to yell "HEY YOU GUUUUUYS"
Don't ever marry your first cousin. This is what you get😂
There’s always the route Burt Reynolds took in “Deliverance”
JK :)
These guys look like they came straight from the set of Deliverance
I almost thought I was watching a new wrong turn
That's crazy...they know that their are hunters and they will disturbed the area. Game warden should really step-in.
I was walking along a creek going to the beaver damn for rainbow trout and all of a sudden there was a hunter with bow just 8 feet in front of me. I had no idea it was bow season so I was surprised.
They could've had something in the woods somewhere they didn't want y'all to find
That's what I'm thinking to have 2 separate encounters in same area on same night might be some sketchiness going on out there
Their marbles... or meth
Which will probably be found now that this video is up, unless they removed it after the 2 hunters left. Or the game warden finally shows up to do an investigation and they find it.
All I could think of when Flash showed up was the movie Wrong Turn🤣
I had to check a neighbor hard last week. He had the audacity to cut the gate chain and install his own lock. Cardinal rule you don't cut fence to hunt! Once confronted he started spouting off about the hunter harassment, and how he was going to have me arrested. He was the one who was cited with permanent trespassing ticket!
People didn’t act like this in the 90s. There was consequences and the law didn’t generally get involved.
Jerk- “he fattened my lip”
Sheriff-“why”
Jerk-“cause I didn’t want him hunting”
Sheriff-“your lucky that’s all you got”
They must have a grow in there or meth lab
Absolutely. They do this in Oregon. They are dangerous and armed to the teeth protecting their illegal grows and labs.
I’d have told him that, I’ll be here every day all day, so he’d better pack a lunch.
That fresh water creek got good flow to it. I bet they got a still hidden down there somewhere
Weren’t they in Deliverance?
haha Wrong Turn
Check the creek for bodies...
Kudos for not dig 2 holes.
For years I have seen places along and between highways and have said "Man that looks good" but have never hunted them.
enjoy
Ole Cooter reckons he owns the whole holler.
Is it not required to wear an orange vest when hunting?
Not for bow season. If it’s rifle season and you’re bow hunting, it is then required.
He would've been sleeping in that woods
The “I know my rights crowd” is always the first to try to step on someone else’s rights.
I'm a big man 6ft 1 323lbs knowing me once he started smoking and breaking branches that's definitely a a$$ whopping. Good for you guys not losing your heads
Lol😂 👌
323??
At only 6ft???
Thats simple obesity.
You aren't about to do much....
Except wheeze.
@johngarrett5189 lol keep telling your self that
@@jerryparkey4199 I'm telling YOU that chunks
@@jerryparkey4199 I'm telling you that round mound
There's a guy who went somewhere in life. He even knows how to light a cigarette. Just like his daddy and his daddy before him.
This video should show you how serious TWRA isn’t.
That happened to me. After several encounters, I involved the game warden. $500 fine later they were banned from the area.
At least you gave them something to do besides sit on the porch drawing a check .
Yep
Guaranteed ‘disabled’.
SYSTEM SUCKING, PECKERWOODS.
He was trying to smoke that cigarette like he was in a movie.
Seriously man kudos to both of yall for not feeding into there shit. Hopefully game warden does his job. Keep us updated. Sorry guys perk of public unfortunately
I would have to revisit those woods frequently and I would bring as many buddies as I could each time…there would be so many hunters in them woods those idiots would think they were being invaded
Way to keep your cool fellas.
Please keep us updated on what happens with this. It could help other hunter in the future.
I’ve had em harrass me and a buddy bad in Smyrna before while Turkey hunting. They will drive by after watching you walk in and honk their horns for a good bit. So annoying
