    I would file charges. I was trapping, and a guy took my trap. And threw it in the creek. I called Warden, and the guy told Warden what he did. Said I shouldn't be trapping there. Warden wrote him a theft of property. And a hunter harassment tickets. Made him wade into the creek to get my trap. Told him if he did it again. Fines would be double, and he would go to jail.

      @@Mr.Potato420 So, you’re okay with all kinds of trapping, other than beaver trapping? That’s idiotic. Most people trap beavers because they’re causing problems with flooding property and roadways. They’ll also kill all the fish in certain lakes. Get a clue. And people really don’t use beaver hides for clothing much, anymore. That ship has sailed.

It would have been really hard to not mistake those critters for varmints (j/k). Seriously though, kudos for keeping your cool. I have had a few somewhat similar frustrating experiences over the years and as hard as it was, just let it go. The one guy that caused the most issues, eventually got busted for large growing operation. He lost his kids and over 50 firearms and got to visit the big house during the next deer season. Keeping cool and being nice is hard sometimes, but it pays the best dividends. I definitely would have informed the local conservation officer. Love all of your videos, keep up the good work!

      Good example of just because it's legal that doesn't mean it's right. You've got plenty of places to go that you won't disturb people and risk your life. You have no idea who you'll encounter. You might find the type these tough guys don't consider they've got a trip in the dark to make and you leave your vehicle at risk the whole time you're hiding in your trees. When you get on borders, you're going to have trouble. You shouldn't hunt between the property line and the next road in, if you don't want trouble. You bank up on my line, I'll make sure you don't do it in peace. You'll definitely have skin in the game. I don't hunt between the last road and the property line to avoid problems that shall surely arise if you do

    This is part of the reason that I’m not against public land cell cam bans. Twice I’ve had encounters like this where people try to purposely mess up my hunt or come looking for me after I walked past a cam that sent them a picture of me in real time. If it wasn’t for those cell cams they wouldn’t even know I was there. I don’t see cams as that much of an unfair advantage when it comes to actually hunting the deer. My problem has always been the safety/privacy issues that come up when they’re placed all over public land that people get possessive over.

    • @Son_of_Virginia
      @Son_of_Virginia 3 месяца назад +6

      I’ve had it happen to me without being on anyones cell cam. When you are in public there is no expectation of privacy. Cell Cams aren’t the problem, people with a false sense of ownership are.

    • @GraylenGoOutside
      @GraylenGoOutside 3 месяца назад

      @@Son_of_Virginia and cell cams are too powerful of a tool in the hands of those clowns. I’m not saying that it happens exclusively because of cell cams, but with lazy, possessive hunters plastering them all over public land it’s going to start happening a hell of a lot more. Don’t be surprised when the bans come. And as far as privacy goes, I mean the ability to enjoy the land without being under someone else’s surveillance.

    • @GraylenGoOutside
      @GraylenGoOutside 3 месяца назад +5

      @@Son_of_Virginiathose possessive hunters are plastering public land in surveillance. I’m not saying that harassment only happens because of cell cams, I’m saying that it’s going to start happening A LOT more because cell cams are the perfect tool for those kind of clowns to use to their advantage. As far as privacy, I understand it’s public land, but I’m referring to my ability to use it without being under someone else’s real time surveillance. How long before people start flattening tires and breaking windows because they know when and where you are in the woods. It just seems like the disadvantages to public land hunting as a whole outweigh the advantages to the individual hunter.
