Crossovers aren't roomer or more comfortable they just have more space up high in the rear for the trunk area. Cars usually have much more leg room and usually are more comfortable
My grandfather bought a 2018 Cadenza limited. In our opinion, the limited trim was better then the Lexus ES we looked at. In order to get a heads up display, 360 camera monitor, and a high grade leather we would have to add expensive packages. Not in Cadenza limited! It's all standard. It has been a great car for him and should be a nice reliable car for many years!
just bought a 2019 Optima S and can't believe how amazing this car is for the price i got it for ($21,500) with my trade in. i financed it at $13,000! stick price was $26,110. my trade in was a 2005 Nissan Altima with 108,000 miles.
I agree with you, IMO it's a sharp looking vehicle but they don't sell many of them and they probably won't be making them much longer, full size sedans are pretty much a old mans car.
@@jaredshelton4718 You must be in the minority, I don't see too many young people driving full size sedans. I was going to buy a cadenza but there's two things I don't like about the cadenza and other full size sedans they make nowadays. Number one, they all sit low to the ground, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to get in and out of.Number two, is those 18 or 19 inch wheels, all who have, those blasted low profile tires, which are not as durable or as smooth riding as regular tires, and than when they need to be replaced it's going to be a four digit bill.
@@josephdavis2982 I go for comfort and style, the Cadenza, Kia sedans in general....appeal to me more than any other offerings from other brands. I agree with what you're saying about ride height and the large wheels however, being low to the ground is something you face with all sedans, or most cars in general. If you're looking for something easy to get in and out of then get an SUV, simple. As far as wheels go, I can't imagine a beautifully appointed car having small wheels and large side walls, it just doesn't look as good, I'd rather pay more for tires than sacrifice style and road presence.
@@jaredshelton4718 I might go with a SUV this time around or possibly the optima LX which still has the regular tires on it, which I thought is a sharp looking car as well, I'm not sure yet, as to which way I'll go
The earlier model Cadenza/K7 cars, including the 2010 model which never made it to the US, look amazing and modern, even 8 years later. Kudos to the designer, who Kia recruited from Audi. They made him the Kia president.
Y'know... you can't deny this looks freakin' good. I'm actually lusting after a KIA?! If I had kids or some other excuse to be cost-conscious to the point of not caring about the badge, I would seriously consider this.
so ..we found out that charger and taurus are available in four wheel drive... very useful information ..forgot to mention which wheels are driven on Cadenza though.. I guess .. left? .. maybe right..
Diwash1 oh man, this is 2016 not 2002. All forms of content are scheduled to automatically be released at specific times based on traffic. No one is up at 6 am to post this. This allows a video, or any content for that matter, to have the highest viewership.

Kia has always made good quality cars, and now they are very competitive. But they still lose value very fast and not offered in AWD unless you want the new Stinger. And then they do something like not being able to lower the back seats on this car. Why??? The AWD is not a deal breaker for me but the very low resale value and not being able to lower the seats are. I wonder why Kia's resale value is low, they have proven to be good cars (depending on model). I will wait a little longer for the resale value to go up, before I consider one. Thanks for the video.
NCOIC resale value has to do with exactly what it says: RESALE. if ppl look down on a fullt loaded, highly competitive vehicle, think what goes in their minds of a used one. Sad truth is the demand is always a factor in this regard, not just the reliability. Hope that clears up some of ur curiosity
I remember riding in my uncles $45,000 dollar GMC Terrain Denali, and it has fake stitching on a plasticky arm rest, it was truly pathetic, my 2003 Volvo has better build quality than his gmc, this though is really nice! I'd probably buy one if they didn't offer the optima.
It's bad that a car can get high marks for keeping you from a crash without you having to actually do anything. I know the reviewer seems to realize there's a lot of entitlement and laziness out there, but still... That he even had to tell the joke really doesn't say good things.

Clous von this car is everywhere in saudi arabia. east asian countries also highly demand the cadenza. i think americans have the problem of idolizing brands.
Khalid there's a huge problem idolizing brands. people in America buy the base BMW 3 series (the 320i I believe) and some models don't come with navigation. that's absolutely insane. the base c class has no back up camera. I can't understand the logic
Brought one Used. I am Very very happy, super car and Beautiful. There are few on the road. I like going 2 months w/o seeing a car like mine. 😍
What year is your car? Did you get the premium one or the technology one?
Found a used 2018 (in 2022) with low miles. LOVE this car! Very luxurious and lots of V-6 power! And I love the styling.
I like the design language of this car.
I think they nailed it.
박도현 Agreed!

They just have more space! 😂😂😂
@@mark4tesla Hmm, Last time a checked, a honda civic hatchback had more cubic space than most cross overs. Let's not have that conversation.
I love this car but I just noticed he ran da red light at 3:50 😂😂

I have a family member with a Cadenza which I borrowed for a day trip and it was a very sweet ride!
Great review, Micah! Congrats on almost reaching 300,000 subscribers, y'all deserve it.
Thanks for the support!
they just need to re design the logo and turn around the brand image. i drive a kia, and it's great, but i still don't have any brand loyalty
Then buy a Genesis G80 instead
Wow ! This car reminds me of the Volvo S90, because of the elegance it has.
It’s nice
The KIA Cadenza is beautiful!
It's a shame that no one buys these, this is a great looking car!!

3:48 Love the KBB Driver who went through a red light, haha! Great video though, very informative.
@Joe Blackner he clearly didn't you imbecile.
3:50 did he run the red light?

KIA Is doing a good job :)
Something dads will love to drive around in.
good stuff from Kia for sure.
Kia has a good amount of the best looking cars on the market

Looks quite good.
Similar used pricing to a kia sorento. Do you want a higher ride and more vertical cargo space or luxury features. Cadenza is actually about 8" longer
Best looking Asian car in the market no doubt
That's because it's designed by a German.
The back seats don't lower because the back seat frame acts as a stiffening brace to improve handling. Old rally driver's trick.
Stitches of Lies! hahahaha. Made my day!

Your videos make me miss Long Beach
How does it compare with the LaCrosse? Seems like the LaCrosse is more powerful and efficient and has AWD...
Lewie zero comparison
Lacross is supreme
Curious on which is better, Maxima or Cadenza. Love the looks of each but wish they offered a manual
the maxima definitely looks like the cheaper of the two and even the styling doesn't look as up scale as the kia.
Blake Swan the Maxima believe it or not is fun to drive
maximus10463 thats what im thinking but the cvt worries me. Ill have to test drive
Blake Swan I'd take the maxima
Blake Swan would take the cadenza for better tech.

Sorry, this isn't related to to car, but out of curiosity, does Micah compose the music for these or just select it?
I actually do write and record virtually all the music that appears in KBB videos. A lot of the songs can be found at soundcloud.com/micahmuzio/
Awesome! Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work.
Since I have not seen many of these on the road.....,I would consider it/ IF could get into a GOOD LEASE😬
Isn't this the cousin of Hyundai Genesis, using the same platform?
The Genesis is RWD while the Cadenza is FWD, the cousin from Hyundai would be the Azera.
woostersheer1 Thanks for clearing that up guys...Cheers!
Actually should be the Genesis G70 when that is released, even though the G80 Sport is using the same engine.
What is the plastic on the center of the front grille?
Antonio Huerta its a clear plastic that protects/hides(?) the radar for the autonomous brake/adaptive cruise control

Impala, better value, more space, more features, more power.
