See my 2021 Kia K5 Review: ruclips.net/video/wonmA7fUBaw/видео.html and sorry for the rain I don't have access to Gov. technology to stop the rain. I'll do better next time.
Love your reviews! This car and the Impala Premier were at the top of our list. On the used market they are an insane bang for.the buck along with a few others. Have you done a review on the Impala? If not I'd love to see one, and have your thoughts. Keep up the great content
My grandfather bought his 2018 Cadenza Limited at University Kia a while back. He still loves his Cadenza, and University Kia is a wonderful dealership to work with. Id reccomend them to anyone in the market for a new Kia.
Yea I really wanted to do the K900 but the dealer wouldn't let me lol. But the rest of the cars you listed I have done extensive reviews on for sure just check the channel my friend
Nice review man, love the Cadenza though I’m disappointed they took away some features from the 2017-2019 model (primarily the Power trunk, head up display, and rear window sunshades). Do love all the new safety tech though, if only I had the 💴 haha.
I am really looking into buying this car and I am curious how much of a difference in the interior, exterior, overall quality there is between the tech and the limited. I just think 7k+ price difference is significant. I just hate how much attention this car gets and limiting the ability of consumers to make a decision on the trims.
Def an Avalon or full size class of vehicle but yes the price brings it down to mid size prices which is crazy granted this dealer cut the price from the 37k msrp
Absolutely beautiful car Kevin. It's styling is reminiscent of the third generation Lexus GS and thus why I love both levels of these classy models, Ravi Peiris M.D.
I bought a 2019 cadenza technology, it was really reduced, I like the aluminum across the back of the trunk and also the analog clock it has on the dash, plus it didn't have the fake exhaust like the 2020 does. Great review though!
I have seen the Cadenza before, well not in person, it looks very nice with that front grille, it looks abit like a Piranha fish with those razor sharp teeth... 😂, also like the K5, unfortunately Australia will not get both of these models. Great informative review as always, I'm actually loving the review in the rain.. 👍
Just traded my 2016 Lexus es350 for a 2016 kia cadenza limited. Lexus es350 steering was awful, little to no storage space, terrible cup holder location, and mediocre sounds system. The 2016 kia cadenza Infinity Sound system kills the lexus Harmon Kardon system believe it or not
Little to no storage space? I had plenty of storage space in my 6th gen ES. The steering was also supposed to be dull it is a luxury car... I do think the sound system was decent but that's very subjective. The 2GR-FE was a tank. Lasted me 130k miles on the original spark plugs and serpentine belt.
I like the styling of the 2019 better because the 2019 looks a bit more masculine also i like the older led lights better. But the interior of the 2020 is obviously better.
I was cross shopping a 2017 Kia Cadenza Limited ($23k) with a 2012 Lexus LS 460 ($20k). I was SO disappointed with the ride quality and sound dampening in the Cadenza. The Lexus was much more smooth and quiet, and it wasn't even close. I'm not a brand snob at all, I couldn't care less about the badge. Very surprised by how cheap the Cadenza felt, especially because pretty much every review has been glowing. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills or something.
Oh no you're not the older Cadenza wasn't really that great the new one they made a lot of improvements. But there is still cheapness in the interior of the new Cadenza, full piano black plastic interior which is supposed to simulate piano black wood but its not its plastic so its basically a full plastic interior. That to me is the biggest drawback of Kias in general
Have you tried the new K900? I am thinking of buying one over the TLX and ES Since you can buy one new for Lexus ES money. I don't get why you would buy a kia k5 over a Toyota Avalon? The only thing I can see is a possible softer ride and quieter cabin than the ES/ Avalon. It tries to be a ES, but is only a Avalon.
@@MeynMotorGroup And that is the reason no one will buy the K900 or Hyundai/ Genesis cars. A Hyundai/ Genesis salesman told me to go test a car at another dealership and come back and purchase. They wanted to keep the miles low for serious customer's like its a exotic car or something. They also want to run a hard credit check lmao Explains why there are brand new 2019 k900's on the lots still. A better looking genesis G80.
@@MeynMotorGroup I might just Debating on waiting for a cheaper LS500 Executive model or LC500. Even though I can get a 19 K900 for half the price of a used LS or LC.
What's up with Hyundai and no folding rear seats?!? Seriously. I love sedans, but the lack of utility by not having folding rear seats is an absolute deal breaker. Do they want to sell cars, or what? This isn't the 90s, or even the 2000s -- people expect folding rear seats in this class. They did the same thing in the G80 -- the prior gen NOR the current gen G80 have folding rear seats. The US-market expects folding rear seats. They need to adapt the car for different markets. This is a major oversight.
Good quality video like always, i didn't here you mention a warranty though so are you really Kevin 😆? rain was not a big deal at all. When I first saw the car on the thumbnail it was a bit of a yikes design for me byt then I saw it driving in the video and it looked really clean especially the interior 😀. Digital gauge clusters sounds like a good idea especially if yoy can have an entire map there, but I never understand why most companies get rid of the actual speedometer bc it's the most important thing for drivers to see, that and at night I'm sure it would be more distracting and straining on the eyes. They could always just make the classic speedometer look nice and modern, can't wait for the next video
gr8 car Kevin.i d take it in a heartbeat. The best budget luxury car imho.other in the same lvl, either they are (this is full loaded) or too expensive to buy.I like Camry very much but its not at its league:D
Off Topic. I asked you the same question on the LS 500 F Sport video you did a few days ago, you probably missed it. I'm copy pasting it here. Hi kevin, as always, amazing and personal-felt review. One question I have for you. You keep mentioning the cabin noise inside the LS 500, especially that weird wind noise in the back that's kinda (?)absent in the F-sport model. I can't find anything online about that, you're the only one who points it out. First that, and second, how does the overall cabin noise compare to the ES300H? (the only ES available in Germany). Because, next year I plan to sell my 2017 Nissan GTR (Check my channel btw, got a few neat clips) and I want to get a Comfortable and QUIET luxury car and I am torn between a slightly used LS 500 or a brand new Luxury Line ES300h. Which one would you recommend?
Ah ok I missed this, ES300h and LS500 F sport are about equal in how quiet they are especially if you get the Luxury trim and up for the ES300h. You miss the speed and they dynamic of the LS500 as well as some size but in terms of pure comfort and quietness as a luxury car, ES is an equal to the LS very impressive car and costs way less money. But again not as dynamic
@@MeynMotorGroup I understand. My top priority is, like I mentioned, comfort and quietness. So I guess I'll go for an upper trim ES300H. Thank you for your honesty and quick reply.
Oh man yea people have been missing out this new Cadenza is such a great luxury car. This is like Avalon competition K5 is Camry competition. In Korea this is known as the K7
Yeah this was actually the first Kia to have the larger infotainment screen & system that you're seeing in all of the models now. It's gotten swept right under the radar just because it's a full-size sedan... So nobody wants it (not for sticker) and it's not better looking than a K5 or a Stinger.
@@MissFleek_ have you test driven one? It's got plenty of power to smoke a lot of cars from the factory. Slap on a $1400 piggy back kit and you can get 450 to the wheels as well. I like the Stinger for its USABLE power numbers. All the M cars and what not are cool and all but beyond the sound, you're not really getting it all out of them unless you're someone who can track it. Stinger was my favorite car ever and it's definitely the best bang for your buck STILL, 4 years later. The price used to be a lot more negotiable. Dealers were willing to let fully loaded GT2's go for mid to low 40's, which is absolutely no excuse to call expensive anymore, not for what you got. The Stinger is a RWD, longitudinally mounted platform for the same starting price as your Nissan Maximas and Toyota Avalons. Both of which have no lift gate (inferior cargo capacity), inferior tech, inferior interior design and far inferior power, inferior sound systems, and until last year both of them (now the Avalon can) didn't have an AWD option either. But even at MSRP, the Stinger GT2 for $52K gives you the RWD-AWD, almost 400 hp, a long 10 year powertrain warranty, and a bunch of class-topping tech like a 10.25" touch infotainment system, 15 speaker Harman Kardon sound system w/ Quantum Logic Surround & Clari-Fi, blind spot cameras on both sides, 2 person memory Nappa leather seats with like 16-way adjustability & 4 way lumbar. Kia also has one of if not the best lane keeping Assist and adaptive cruise control systems in the class, rain-sensing windshield wipers and all the other modern tech you can expect in a car besides massaging seats. The ONLY downside to the Stinger is the fuel tank size felt fairly small especially for a car that doesnt get good fuel economy. I averaged like 300 miles on a full tank. Which equated to be having to fill up with 93 sometimes more than once a week given that just my drive to work and back is like 68 miles. Let alone if I wanted to do anything ELSE
The car looks nice but wont go over 150k miles especially as it had GDI i would rather get a Toyota Avalon. According to scotty kilmer these are endless money pits as they age so buy a TOYOTA because they last way longer. Keep up the good content
Thanks Kevin I'll probably go with a used lexus. The reliability/ longevity of the gdi motor concerns me. I keep a car a long time.I've really enjoyed your reviews on the older LS 430,460's.
