Ok that’s it. Your videos have inspired me to resurrect my everlast 325ext. I have been cnc cutting metal art for over 6yrs but these past 2yrs or so I’ve been asked to cut aluminum for several hot rod shops in my area. Simple cuts like boxes, catch cans things like that. Several shops have asked if I would weld them up as well. I always decline cause I suck at welding and it intimidates me. Imagine, Delivering an order full of stacked peanuts….smh. Well I pulled the trigger today on a prime weld and ordered a new Tig torch for my everlast since I have no idea where I stored it. It’s been 4-5 yrs since I last used it. I’m gonna give it a try man. Thanks for your inspiration, I will keep you updated on my stack of peanuts progression.
Nice work, that is a lot harder than you made it look. Working the positioner pedal off and on with one foot, while using tig foot pedal, and torch hand, and filler hand. The practice shows.
Very informative. I heard from PrimeWeld they'll have a rotory hand amp control for the 325x coming out in the near future. CK has a slider hand amp control you can get from PrimeWeld but from what they said the rotory control mentioned above will be a lot cheaper.
Nice work mate! I’m from Japan and I’m doing welding stuffs(trying at least). I watch a lot of videos and found your channel recently! Good content so keep it up 👍 I’m using a Chinese tig machine but it pretty decent for the price😅
Nice work as usual. One of the most underrated channels hopefully you will get more exposure because you deserve it. I was wondering if you ever tried to weld thin aluminum using brazing rods SIBs I’m working on heat sinks with thin walls and I was wondering if sibs could hot glue them together 😂
Depends, it definitely cuts the background noise out; people comment about hearing mouse farts in my videos. But for me as a viewer, I prefer it to be direct to the point without music or mems; I have that on in a second window while watching. Brings up the other point about RUclips following down the same path of Myspace, Craigslist, forums, and soon Wikipedia - who would have thought any of those would/could have died (I mean why...). The chase for quick dopamine on Mobile devices is much more mainstream and our long format, sideways, knowledge based content will die as it gets left behind - unfortunate but true.
4943 welds way better than 4043. Much less grain, about like 5356. Hobart claims one pass of 4943 is almost as strong as 3 passes with 4043. Might be worth a try. I use 4043 to hand parts to paint, easy to bend hooks in it. Kind of like green tungsten is used as a scribe.
Is it easier to get helium now? I know it was pretty hard to get, for a while,, and the world is actually running out of it. Argon, will be next. Sucks!

Get yourself a tig button. Hands down a game changer

Nice 👌
Forgot to say, videos are bad ass.
Really nice work! You mentioned 4043/ helium mix on cast aluminum. What filler do you use on 3003, 6061 grade aluminum?

Thanks for sharing your technique, but there's ZERO need for background music.
@@ximan09 i kinda wondered if it was pointless

Have you ever tried hobart 4943 aluminum filler rod? Ive been using it and like it.
@@Sawmods yeah i have i do like it
So, you don't think 5356 would be good for those? I've done some with 5356. Hope they hold up.
@@funfun8095 i think they will probably be okay. Operating temp is supposed to be 150f on 5356

@@funfun8095 idk its still expensive
I’m pretty sure they just extract argon out of the air we breath, I don’t think there’s a shortage.
