This show was 10/10 for me. Good plot. Good suspense. W wife. No cliche

I personally didn't mind the animation not being top-tier cause I was more interested in the premise and the plot. I've enjoyed every episode thus far, so I might transition to the manga.

As someone who never read the manga, i can clearly see that there's something missing and it's fast paced.
Budget always kill good anime 😢
Sucks that there's so many good mangas like this that get average/below average animes because of things like budget, I had hoped for this one to be better😅
Copied from "drishyam" a malayalam movie both have a protagonist who likes to reads detective novels and know to clear body instead of gangster family they have a police one

@@Deepak-ls2eb No they are not. The premise sounds similar but they are totally different. I've seen both drishyam and drishyam 2 ( both original and Bollywood remakes ) and my home hero till the 6th episode and let me tell you they have literally nothing in common .
In my home hero the father kills the boyfriend and the daughter knows nothing about it. He is not a genius like drishyam protagonist so he takes help from his wife ( she is definitely a genius not useless ) The gangster almost killed him a few times but left alive for a reasonable purpose. He is working on forging fake evidence of that man being alive rather than proving that he isn't the one who killed him.
It's so different that it's nothing like drishyam or drishyam 2. But it's very good and interesting.
Don't try to criticize things without actually knowing about them.

You can say that all you want. However this is plot driven. Not visually driven. And though it would improve with better animation, it still doesnt change the fact it is a good anime. Thrilling ending and discoveries.
Manga reader here for 2 years and i still enjoy the anime
I dont have that much high standard when it comes to animation. Ive been watching anime for so long, so I'm not really that picky when it comes to animation

Again with the series having poor animation. People have been overly spoiled with anything MAPPA puts out.
I personally don’t have an issue with the animation style of My Home Hero. For me, if the story is still holding my attention, along with great suspense and drama, the animation wouldn’t matter much. There are shows out there that have the most amazing animation and yet everything else just flaws flat.
My Home Hero is still ongoing and while I don’t see it as anything that grand, it’s still worth the watch. Not to mention, a breathe of fresh air to get an mature/adult anime series this season instead of the usual shonen and isekai stuff.
That as nothing to do with Mappa or being spoiled! what is this logic? Like to use this nowadays. Be serious for a minute. Monster is a plot driven anime that from the 2000s and it was still more visually pleasing than this. It's not even average looking It's bad.
The plot carry the anime but this is a bad anime adaptation. You think this anime good, that the story? The manga is 100 times better, the anime cut things and censured things, and the ending isn't the ending they gave this anime the Claymore treatment. You saw something based on something great

it's crazy how the manga could make me so anxious through only images.. animation should've made it even more lively & realistic, but unfortunately there are so many limitations and restrictions..
As someone who went COMPLETELY BLIND into My Home Hero....I really fucking enjoyed it.
Sure, the animation looked outdated as fuck but I still had a fun time.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I hate to say it but I enjoyed it even more than Oshi no Ko.
i don't mind the animation, it makes the ambiance more tense. i don't watch for the animation tho, i watch because of its unique plot. the only thing that gave me disappointment is the likes of you. LOL

I never read the manga or LN, but this story sounds terrible. Step 1) Daughter dates a gangster, doesn't introduce boyfriend, but shows up with bruises. This doesn't make sense assuming we are insane to believe the parents are estranged or alienated from the daughter first. Step 2) Gangster sexually assaults the strangers, or father in an ally, takes pictures and says "don't tell the police." In what universe does this plot exist? is this manga for women/girls? Because no man is going to get sexually assaulted and let that slide. At least not me, I'm going straight to the police to get DNA evidence. What type of Amber Heard kind of evidence do you need to convict a criminal of sexual assault in Japan? Do you need to have a full penetration video to prove it?

the pacing is nuts, and some of the mcguyvering is a little unbelievable, but overall this anime is pretty good.

I was hyped when I first hear about it getting anime adaptation, but when I first saw the trailer it was disappointing.
Disappointing to the point where I haven't even watched it yet and not planning to.

That's quite a stupid decision. The animation is totally fine and gets the job done. It's not an action nor Shonen anime so there's no need for it to be over the top.
