Nice one... im planning to make one bike too from scratch... but it will have it all separate... separate batteries, separate controllers, and 2 separate throttles....but since they will be thumb-throttles, you will be able to press them both with one thumb. I will use 1.500W or 2.500W motors on the wheels.
Great video, I hope to add a front motor to my fat tire ebike too, it is 26" wheel and you have done it well, it is a good idea to make a new controller box, my controller is very small in a box at the base of the battery behind the seat post and it can get wet from the rain because of course there have to be holes for the cable to pass through. I am thinking 2 throttles, so I can just use the extra motor for a boost on the hills
@@PirateWasHerebrother so sorry to bother you but do you know the measurement f the rear dropout? Planning on upgrading the rear hub motor instead, cheers
How long does your battery last with dual motors ? also I am planning to do the same with "Samebike M200" dual batteries. with single throttle like you done and using existing controllers. Did you have to buy the split cables or did they come with it.. My bike is also 20 inch as well. Let me know what types of cables I should be getting.

My controller with the matching throttle. The jst-sm connector has 4 pins. And 2 of the pins are for the brakes. Engwe EP-2 Pro - Rubbish on hills until you install a Baserunner V5 50a controller, that fits in the frame with room to spare. Now, I zoom up hills and absolutely no need for a new wheel and hours of rewiring.

Great video. I bought mine based on this… terrible! Good morning, Very unhappy with my CmaceWheel RX20, bought 7/2022. After 6 months the Keyframe holder on the bike broke, so o had to replace the whole Key setup in the Battery. Not easy. Now the Front Motor is not working for 4 months, but I was busy and did not report it, so it’s OUT Of WARRANTY, as 13 months and 95 km (yeah, that’s all). The Factory support was incomplete, sarcastic and frankly shows NO knowledge of the bike (until I started yelling). What I can notice is RE-BRANDING to DUOTTS, VAKOLE C020, which indicates to me that the original brand is failing! They should have fixed the problems first! After additional testing and hours of work by myself, 1. Clearly the Controller is defective, so I am asking for an immediate replacement. 2. The Motor is also probably defective, but I am willing to wait for the Controller replacement. What worry about is the cost and the danger that the NEW controller will be blown by the defective Motor. Any ideas? Grazie!
for a second there I thought he was going tubeless and was like "whaaaat are you doing?" then I realized I've being putting in tubes completely wrong... 🤦🏿♂️
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
dont forget steel torq arms for front fork, with that powerful motor it can be dangerous without
