The Omnivore griddle top uses a newer kit 5395 with 1.55mm orifices. The older legacy griddle top uses the older kit 5249 with 2.0mm orifices. This is not a well known fact and many of the older kits are out there being sold and installed into new Omnivore versions.
I have the 1.15 and the tool they provided in the conversion kit did not fit, had to use 1/4 in to get out, then the thread gauge did not fit for any of them. Any ideas?
Do you have a appliance regulator? If so what brand and size? I have a 2 pound gas system coming to my back porch. Afraid that would be to much cook with
EJ Flooring & Custom Tile Installation ...are you talking about drilling out the jet opening of the orifice? If so, how much do you drill out? Drill bit size?

Great video!
Does the converter hose good for all backstone models? I have a 22” blackstone
Cool af
I followed your instructions and now it won't turn on.. any advice you can give?
How has the kit performed over the years? Still in use?
I actually done use my Blackstone anymore but I’m still using this kit for the new griddle. Well new 4 years ago griddle.
Thank you

What is the significance of the orange rings versus yellow that I mostly have seen?

Do you notice any difference in how it cooks? Propane seems to be a hotter fuel
It does heat up faster. But not too much difference.
@@TheHollarBBQ Thanks for the reply
Will this work on a Monument 14633 Grill two burner?
No idea. I’m not familiar with that grill.
I believe the 140 degrees was the application limit, performance limit on the RectorSeal is 400 degrees.
Thanks Kevin and I’ve been looking for the conversion kit as well before I bought one. Seems simple enough too.
Just cooked some prime strips on it. Came out great. Thanks for watching Steven.
TheHollarBBQ absolutely
We just purchased a Blackstone and bought the conversion kit. We got it all set up and it’s super loud... is this normal?
What do you mean by loud? You can hear the gas more with natural gas.
@@TheHollarBBQ yeah I wasn’t expecting that and it flamed up pretty bad during seasoning. We’re now thinking maybe we need a regulator.
you finding it runs better or worse with the NG
as far as performance I think its the same. For convenience its 100 percent better not having to worry about a bottle.
Does this only work with Blackstone or can i use it on my pit boss?
I would recommend going to Pit Boss and see if they have a kit.
What size reducer do you need? And do they have these at Lowes/Home Depot?
I think I had a half inch and needed to go to 3/8. I think.
Very cool kit, I'd love to do this to mine but I'm constantly moving mine around so it won't work for me. Thanks for sharing.
I hear ya. I just got a place where it will be put. Ganna be nice not having to fill those bottles up anymore. Thanks for watching.
Stop using the channel locks and crescent wrench backwards. Other than that, great video.
how do you exchange orifices on the air fyer on a blackstone
Sorry but no idea. I have not even seen the air fryer version in person yet.
I converted my air fryer. Top burners were easy, air fryer had to drill out the orifice.

Thanks man, great job.
No problem thanks for watching.
just bought one today at wallmart for $49.97
Nice, Im glad I did this. No running out of gas anymore.
