I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this: When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard. I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain. I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km. The dog bone and mounts are ok. Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed. The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes. On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit. What do you guys think?
Man you are a genius! What kind of assembly is this, like a spaceship. I have a passat b7 TDI 2012 125kw 4 motion, with the same gearbox as in the video. While the gearbox is cold, it works perfectly. As soon as it warms up (the vcds shows over 65 degrees of oil temperature in the gearbox), the following problems appear - when moving from rest to R or forward (D/S), a strong shock and jerk. When driving, everything is normal. And the second thing I noticed, it doesn't matter if it's cold or hot when I drive it in manual mode, during strong acceleration when changing gears I feel a strong impact, while with mild acceleration the gear changes are smooth. I changed the oil and filter, nothing changed. Calibration was done in VCDS. There are no errors in the diagnosis. Do you know what I should do? Would cleaning the mechatronics and valves solve the problems I have? Thanks in advance, cheers!

yeah , do your homework ... research before. It will not be plug and play at all.... wiring , ecu software, more wiring , more software updates / changes depending on the car config. I would say , cheaper to buy a Golf DSG in the end.

I get code P2723 Pressure control solenoid E, Performance/Stuck Off from my understanding, It only has 1st gear when sitting It attempts to shift into 2nd then it goes neutral and shift back to 1st or 3rd maybe and PRDN flash starts. and it stays in 2nd so looks like N233 solenoid is the issue? if I'm reading and understanding correctly

Going to get a diagnostic check done but I'm wondering if the filters u mentioned n215 216 could be choked or clogging up . I've had filter and oil changed at 53k miles only got 56k on car it's a Japanese import I live in Scotland. I also wonder if oil level was low possibly not been done right by garage if this could cause issues thanks great video

I have a jerky first and reverse ( the car jumps like kangaroo when you release the brake and is very aggressive on take off ) but no fault codes, is there any chances I can test the solenoids before removing the mechatronics and changing them. The car drives fine when it’s very cold only ( -10c ). I suspect N215/N216. My transmission is MQB dq250 ( 09D ). Should I buy new solenoids or try to clean and fix the old ones if that is the issue..
Similar problem with 09D plus I have somewhat hard downshifting 4-3-2 under braking when cold (bumps, kicks). When warm, downshift problem becomes less noticeable (softer), but doesn't disappear fully. Also no fault codes and only 76k km :( Dealer did the basic settings + adaptation drive and is trying to convince me that everything is normal.
@@tonimacinic1572 nope, changing the solenoids did not solved the problem, the car needed changing of clutches 800 euros and new mechatronic 1200 euros which was damaging the clutches, so I sold the car with the defect.
@@TheIggy861 You need to completely dismantle the unit to gain access to those in order to change them. Also need to get correct parts else you will have errors on pressure readings. You also need some high soldering skills to change them.

I have a 2009 DQ250 doing the same. Slight hesitation and bang on start off in 1st or reverse. Sometimes is ok when cold. Gets bad when warm. I suspect it is the N215/K1 solenoid valve faulting?
@@OctaneFever I changed the gearbox oil and filter. I took out and washed the solenoid valves N215 and N216. I made adaptations. It's much better. Jerk when starting is less frequent.

@@GigiBeleaDK performed basic settings and it still has this issue , yes it does it when both cold and hot. But once the car is on and youve been in drive it find reverse fine.
Hello, great work. I have a 2015 CC. I have a code(P0716) related to the G182 sensor. The car will not select any gear and no flashing gear indicator. I have replaced the sensor, and the code is still there And no movement. My mechatronic is with the part number 02E927770AL. I have also replaed the mechatronic with Part number 02E927770AE but no improvement, the code is still there. I was able to get similar mechatronic with same part number as mine, but made in 2010. Pls will it work? Do I need to do any form of coding or just a basic settings? Pls anyone ideas on what could be the solution. My VW CC is just 30k miles. Thank you.

Hello Robin, I recently purchased an Audi TT Mk3 2016 (60k km) and I remapped it with Revo Stage 1 Engine and Revo Stage 2 DSG. Afterwards from stand still when in put in Gear D the car kicks very much, it doesn't do this always but one every 5 times. Does it when cold and hot engine. My mechanics changed my gearbox oil and filter, note that the gear oil was in very bad quality. I remember them telling me that they found alot of debris and they think it was from the clutch. After doing investigation and also confirmed by this video, the issue most probably is related with the Valves or the need to clean the filters of the Valves, correct? What should be the process to do? Should I keep the Revo Stage 2 of DSG? Would appreciate your opinion.

Leaking pressure sensors. Some can drive like that for years without major issued , some will die sooner or later.

that is likely the clutches, try change filter and fluid, then do adaptation.

No , but I would recommend taking unit out of the gearbox , there to little space to work with it in the gearbox.

I would first try to perform basic settings and see how it goes. Does it do this both when cold and hot ?

Can be N215 / N216 or Clutch. When replacing clutch with such symptoms , replace the clutch drum also.
