What can I say! Following the guide you have in your description I fixed my mecatronics myself! My issue was FORCE SOLENOID N215 N216 with jerky DSG gear changes! Your guide told me exactly what to change and the video helped me install it! Many thanks
Hi Greig, Did you have an issue with the transmission being jerky in reverse and into 1st gear, and also all the way up through the gears? did you only replace the N215 and N216 valves? Thanks!
@@samuelpomana2286 My symptoms were: Jerky gear changes from standstill 1st & reverse. Like Someone driving a manual car and accidentally slipping off the clutch pedal… driving up the gears from 2nd + were perfect… The jerkiness got worse and worse as the DSG gearbox got warmer. The other symptom was downshifts from 3rd to 2nd we’re hesitant and harsh. Yes changing the two solenoids N215 & N216 fixed my issue. Hope this helps. 👍
@@Greig300 great! I have the exact same symptoms. Definitely 3rd to 2nd is hesitant and 2nd gear onwards going up the gears is perfect. I would much rather try and change the solenoids than replace the whole mech unit for thousands lol. Thanks for your help

I have a jerky first and reverse but no fault codes, is there any chances I can test the solenoids before removing the mechatronics and changing them. The car drives fine if it is not started for 3 days, but every other day when it's warm it has the problem.
Got CEL P0772 yesterday. Car has been running great no other codes and have not noticed any decreased fuel economy. Solenoid stuck open is code. You think that’s is actually just a bad solenoid.

Hello, thank you for the video. I have one vw golf gti 2011 dsg. I have problem with first gear and rear. When the car is hot no possible to put in rear or first, PNRD light flash on the board. If you start fast and when the car is cold it drives fine. If the car is hot and you are in low mileage (second or third gear) the gearbox go on neutral you can't accelerate, the greenlight "press on brake come up" . When read the defaults, there are 2 : - p1815 : valve 1, short circuit to b+ - p1820: valve 2, short circuit to b+ We take the mechatronic out. I tested the ohms on all the solenoids everythings it s fine. What do you think it s the problem? N215/N216? How can i test it? Thank you Nice job
I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this: When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard. I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain. I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km. The dog bone and mounts are ok. Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed. The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes. On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit. What do you guys think?
I have a 2008 VW R32 and I'm hoping you can steer me in the right direction - after the car's transmission temps reach 80 degrees C, the car starts to have an issue. From a stop, when moving my foot from the brake to the gas, it lurches hard. After the lurch, the car drives normally, completely smooth. It also does this in reverse. No codes whatsoever. No flashing PNDRS. I have VCDS and have performed an adaptation with no avail. I purchased a dsg service kit and that is my next step, however, I was curious what you thought? Mech unit is my suspicions. I am not sure if I should try to purchase a repair board or the solenoid kit if the problem persists or to just buy the whole control unit. I live in Tennessee and my local dealers are worthless, telling me the car is too old to work on (when I asked about a dsg service). Thank you for your time! -Alex
Sal. Am un Golf 6 1.2 TSI cu DSG 7. Dupa ce se incalzeste motorul (mers 15-20 de minute) in treptele 3,4,5,6,7 si numai la turatii intre 1800-2100 incepe sa mearga in suturi. Aceste "suturi" se inmultesc cu cat merg mai mult, dar numai in plaja aceea de turatii. Pe modulul Sport, trecand direct la turatii mai mari (>2500) nu face. Problema a inceput dupa schimbul de ulei + filtre la 60000 km. Am schimbat: adaptare clapeta de acceleratie, ambreiaj, bujii, fise, bobina, filtru de benzina MANN (6.6 bari- cel recomandat) + lant distributie (trebuia).

I have a p0771 n92 valve failure the valve is good So i think if the mechatronic is not inserted in the gearbox i should also change gears, am i right? Hello thank you for the video I have a question recently my car has developed a hard shift when over around 4.5/5k revs, happens in D sport or manual (paddles) drives fine in D and sport when driving normally but when I drive it hard the shifts are hard with a slight hesitation, the car does not throw any codes and no flashing lights on dash either. dsg serviced also done basic settings and is still the same any idea what it could be? zdraco i have a problem on the DSG 6 speed touran 2003 TDI. The problem happens when the car warms up and as I drive at 2000 rpm the hand starts to go up and down. the error read on the diagnostics is P0716 the gearbox oil and filter as well as the sensor have been replaced but again I have a twitch when the car heats up and shows the same error. thanks in advance otherwise you have a great see.
Hi Gigi great videos have fault code 17160 have checked n215 and n219 have 5 ohm resistance and not connecting to earth should i still replace valves. Car drives in ist gear and reverse only.Thanks

Usually this are the N215/216 solenoids that are worn and can't open/close properly. I would start by changing those. If that does not help then a mechanical valve could be worn also and that is impossible to change.

Hi I have a open circuit fault relating to the n215. The code is p1814. I’ve removed the mechatronics, tested the valve which is reading good, checked the wiring harness which is all good and today I removed the plastic cover hoping to see a broken wire/solder joint but everything seems fine. The majority valves that damage the large valve body ،Especially in cars Q3, Q5,lik n215 and n216 you can't teste it ,i had one damaged and one new the ohms was the same

Depends on what type of gearbox it is. Can be DSG6 or DSG7. For DSG6 I only use OEM oil. there might be many brands to replace it and might be as good as OEM but as I only use oem oil I do not have any experience with other brands.
Gigi, how to perform gearbox adaptation before I can drive, if Ross-tech states, that gearbox oil has to be between 30-100°C? Is it OK if just run car still and wait till gearbox oil temperature reaches at least 30?
Yes, you have to start the engine and let it idle until temp is high enough. On diesel you can also rev it a bit while standing still so the temp gets up faster.
Normally you will delete all errors before starting adaptation. So key on ignition point, erase all errors , ignition off, on again and start the engine. No error should be present if unit is OK.

HI, my golf gti mk6 2009 has had a solenoid a pressure control stuck on “on” code p0747. I garage said they are repairing the mechatronic but they are saying that they cant just change the solenoid “a”. Could you please tell me if that is true or are they just trying to make me spend more money on the repair process ? Thanks!
They told me they are re programming it and doing a repair on it which is costing me £1100, When i belive you can just change he solenoid that is like £70?
@@GigiBeleaDK I just ordered the 02E Inptut And Temp Sensor Part #: IPN7-308438 and VW DSG Sensor - Temperature Part #: 02E-927-321-A from cobra transmission. Do you have a video showing these sensors being replaced? My 02e has an APR tune. I recently did a DSG adaption and now it only shifts when its cold. When it gets to operating temp the car pops out of gear into neutral. It can go back into first gear but it will not shift into second. Reverse pops out while using it. I installed new clutch packs and borg warner frictions a year ago and swapped the n215 and n216 solenoids. I went with ebay parts. This time I bought borg warner solenoids. Do you think this might solve the issue? Thanks again!
@@Messy_Jesse Depends on hardware number of the mechatronic ... changing the speed sensor is quite easy .. remove mechatronic , look on left side of gearbox housing. Remove screw , replace sensor , put mechatronic back in.
Hi Gigi... I have this fault 19143 - Unexpected / Implausible Mechanical Gear Disengagement Its Skoda Superb 2.0 tdi 125kw with DQ250 2E The problem when i try to change from Drive to Neutral. Gearbox start to clunk VERY HARD(almost everytime) and sometimes gear indicator disappears on dashboard. Then i only can to engage gearbox in second gear when put in drive again, before i restart a car. I change oil and filter, gearbox work from then excellent, but after 7000-8000km same problem start again. Change oil one more time but now nothing happend, same problem. Sometimes hard downshits from 3-2 and 2-1. Do you have idea what it can be? Thank you very much for the video :)
Hi I have a golf 5 1.9tdi dsg My vcds picked up a fault n216 short to B+ PRND was flashing and not going into reverse When I checked the resistance on the n216 it was 4.9ohms So I decided to change it and now it's still doing the same thing and the resistance is also at 4.9ohms But now it's banging into drive and still flashing after u drive for couple meters Any advice I am stuck
Salut Gigi. De unde achiziționezi solenoizii? Am nevoie ptr un dsg 7. Am pățit o iar. S a fisurat iar baza acumulatorului chiar în dreptul supapei pe unde respira mechatronicul și mi a dat uleiul afara. Și am mers cu ea pana a pus cutia pe liber. Am desfăcut mechatronicul și am resudat baza acumulatorului dar după ce îl montez îmi cupleza cutia într o viteza pe înainte( bănuiesc ca a 2-a, pentru ca pleacă un pic mai repde de pe loc decât normal) și nu o mai pune pe liber. Pentru ca dacă dau reverse îmi da șocuri și se oprește motorul. Cred ca este un solenoid nasol care a rămas cuplat. ( o sa îi masor săptămâna ăsta)
Probabil cam tarziu, dar gasesti placa nou mai hroasa in carne pe aliexpress la chinezoi, dupa codul de pe ea mai ales daca e dq200, gasesti toate piesele din ea, unele reconditionate. Pret 150 pana la 450 lei cu tot vu set garnituri. Originala are 2,4mm grosime, astea au 4,6mm grosine in zona aia.

I will measure the n217 valva see what it give must be 0.5 ohm or what if the case is that the valve is fault than i will replace it and see what it does
Does faulty n215/n216 valve make DSG slam violently into reverse or drive after performing DSG reset ?? THANK YOU. I noticed after performing the reset and putting it into drive it slams hard. It corrected itself after a 10 min drive . Could the n215 be defective thats causing this?
Salute to you for great perspective. I replaced a DMF in my 06 vw tdi with dsg 6 speed. While there I changed the clutches. Now I'm having clutch slipping/chattering in all gears. It is driveable and shifts fine. No codes on VCDS. I logged 11/12 in measuring block and under throttle clutch pressure rising but drops when slip. What do you think master @Gigibelea
did you figure out your issue that you were having, i am experiencing all the same symptoms, changed my clutches made no difference and my pressures also drop when the clutches start to slip as soon as car is warm it slips in every gear but no fault codes, i did replace all my solenoids a bit ago as my main pressure solenoid failed but i think i was sent fake ones as they didn’t quite look like the ones that were taken off
Hello Gigi ! Can u tell me if it a mechatronic or clutch problem ? For example i am going with 65 km/h with 6 gear , i press acceleration but does not change into 5 , it still goes with 6 even if it is with verry low rmp , i have to press harder on the acceleration to make the changing , and the enging is forging to go faster and when it changes the gear it makes a an unconfortable boost . And other problem not sure if it is a problem , when i let the foot of the pedal in 2 maxim 3 meters the gear changes intro second gear with no acceleration. Thankyou verry much !
Check your rear wheel bearings, there are the ABS sender gaps. Usually this is the problem if it changes fine in M. If your car is remapped, talk to your tuner, might be a bad remap for your engine when runing DSG

Hi there, I happen to have my DSG tranny unmounted due to the constant failure to engage 1st gear and the pulsations on reverse gear. A couple months ago (January 2016) I had the same problem. I ran a VAGCOM scan to find out if there was something wrong with the mechatronic module but it didn't show any DTC. As I read previously on a blog where some guys had encountered the same problem and as a suggestion for this problem was to perform an oil & filter change followed by performing Basic Settings with VAGCOM, I did as suggested and problem seem to dissapear. Back in August 2016 was when the problem became worse, pulsations on reverse were more constant and engagement of 1st gear happened at almost 2500 RPM. I started a routine inspection only to find out that water was being leaked on to the transmission oil due to a failure in the cooler. My question is: do you think problem in the lag of engagement and pulsations are due to water leaking into the oil system or my mechatronic module is the problem? Please advise. Thank you very much.
Water leaking from cooler is not good and yes , it might have damaged your mechatronic but also the clutches. I would suggest inspecting the clutches also if you have the gearbox down. Then empty the gearbox completely of oil before you put it up again. If after this you still experience problems I would suggest buying a defective unit and change all the valves as you never know which ones got "damaged" by the water leak.
If i change de dsg oil wil it work good again because maybe is the oil old and when the oil get to hot than it wil send fault prnds 2 because when the car is cold i dont have prnds flashing but engine symbole is on in the dash do you think changing oil will help
Hallo, Collega Gigi my vw golf V GTI dsg model 2004 flash prnds i read it out the dsg unit and errors code p1824 selenoid controle valve close to massa and p1604 sometime the car when i turn the switch on the prnds is flashing when i pull the key out and in back to switch for a couple times than it work good the prnds dont flash. and when i drive whit the prnds flashes the car dont switch to gear and stay in 2 gear than i turn the switch off than again on and of till the prnds dont flah than i can drive again normaal what can be the trouble thank u
when i turn the switch whit no engine running prnds light up i pull the key out and than in en turn it on again prnds light again up and sometime i turn the engine un prnds light again up so i play whit it till the park light only light up thn i can drive so the trouble is i most play with the ignition switch to not to get the prnds lights so mi question is what is the trouble because when i driving the car when i get the light only p on the car drive good the whole day soon i get the ignition key out and wanna turn the engine on prnds light up than i turn the switch of and on off and on start the engine and it dooes good again what can it be collega

Am mers mult cu uleiul in cutie, in scadere (cauza termoflot cutie) si a inceput sa dea probleme, erori aleatorii de genu n215,n216, presiune ulei prea slaba, interferenta mechatronic. Am demontat mechatronicul dar din cutie am scps putin ulei (cam 1 litru). E de ajuns sa bag ulei nou si la nivel sau deja trebuie schimbat mechatronic?

In caz ca e nevoie sa schimb mechatronicul, am gasit ceva oferte sh , dar difera codurile la sfarsit, adica la mine se termina cu AE si am gasit altele cu AJ , AM etc la sfarsit. Conteaza acesc cod de pe calculator?
@@GigiBeleaDK Am facut schimbul de ulei (cu febi bilstain) , a mers bine masina cateva minute , dar acum cum dau sa plec intra in protectie. Nu are logica, cu ulei nou si la nivel s-a inrautatit situatia.

@@GigiBeleaDK when the car heats to optimum temp. The car goes only into limp home mode reverse doesnt engage and PNDRS IS flashing. I had the solonlid 2 replaced but its still doing the same thing

In principiu mi a spus ca este pompa din megatronic( nu face suficienta presiune) Dar iti atasez si codurile pe care mi le a afisat: 006300 006079 002113 006292 Astea sunt toate. Mentionez ca de atunci am mai facut cateva mii de km. Inca functioneaza ...schimba toate vitezele etc. Acum intrebarea lacare probabil te asteptai dupa ce ai citit ce ti am scris: merge inlocuita doar pompa din el sau obligatoriu cu totul ? Multumesc in avans pentru raspuns.

What can I say! Following the guide you have in your description I fixed my mecatronics myself! My issue was FORCE SOLENOID N215 N216 with jerky DSG gear changes! Your guide told me exactly what to change and the video helped me install it! Many thanks

Jerky gear changes from standstill 1st & reverse. Like Someone driving a manual car and accidentally slipping off the clutch pedal… driving up the gears from 2nd + were perfect… The jerkiness got worse and worse as the DSG gearbox got warmer. The other symptom was downshifts from 3rd to 2nd we’re hesitant and harsh. Yes changing the two solenoids N215 & N216 fixed my issue. Hope this helps. 👍
@@Greig300 great! I have the exact same symptoms. Definitely 3rd to 2nd is hesitant and 2nd gear onwards going up the gears is perfect. I would much rather try and change the solenoids than replace the whole mech unit for thousands lol. Thanks for your help

I have a jerky first and reverse but no fault codes, is there any chances I can test the solenoids before removing the mechatronics and changing them. The car drives fine if it is not started for 3 days, but every other day when it's warm it has the problem.
Got CEL P0772 yesterday. Car has been running great no other codes and have not noticed any decreased fuel economy. Solenoid stuck open is code. You think that’s is actually just a bad solenoid.

I have one vw golf gti 2011 dsg. I have problem with first gear and rear. When the car is hot no possible to put in rear or first, PNRD light flash on the board. If you start fast and when the car is cold it drives fine.
If the car is hot and you are in low mileage (second or third gear) the gearbox go on neutral you can't accelerate, the greenlight "press on brake come up" .
When read the defaults, there are 2 :
- p1815 : valve 1, short circuit to b+
- p1820: valve 2, short circuit to b+
We take the mechatronic out. I tested the ohms on all the solenoids everythings it s fine.
What do you think it s the problem? N215/N216? How can i test it?

You can't test them, always throw that they are fine. You have to replace the n215 and n216

I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this:
When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt
I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard.
I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain.
I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km.
The dog bone and mounts are ok.
Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed.
The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it
Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes.
On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit.
What do you guys think?
I have a 2008 VW R32 and I'm hoping you can steer me in the right direction - after the car's transmission temps reach 80 degrees C, the car starts to have an issue. From a stop, when moving my foot from the brake to the gas, it lurches hard. After the lurch, the car drives normally, completely smooth. It also does this in reverse. No codes whatsoever. No flashing PNDRS.
I have VCDS and have performed an adaptation with no avail. I purchased a dsg service kit and that is my next step, however, I was curious what you thought? Mech unit is my suspicions. I am not sure if I should try to purchase a repair board or the solenoid kit if the problem persists or to just buy the whole control unit. I live in Tennessee and my local dealers are worthless, telling me the car is too old to work on (when I asked about a dsg service).

I have a p0771 n92 valve failure the valve is good So i think if the mechatronic is not inserted in the gearbox i should also change gears, am i right? Hello thank you for the video I have a question recently my car has developed a hard shift when over around 4.5/5k revs, happens in D sport or manual (paddles) drives fine in D and sport when driving normally but when I drive it hard the shifts are hard with a slight hesitation, the car does not throw any codes and no flashing lights on dash either. dsg serviced also done basic settings and is still the same any idea what it could be? You can interchange just n215 with n216. The n233 is completly different to n215 and n216

zdraco i have a problem on the DSG 6 speed touran 2003 TDI. The problem happens when the car warms up and as I drive at 2000 rpm the hand starts to go up and down. the error read on the diagnostics is P0716 the gearbox oil and filter as well as the sensor have been replaced but again I have a twitch when the car heats up and shows the same error. thanks in advance otherwise you have a great see.
Hi Gigi great videos have fault code 17160 have checked n215 and n219 have 5 ohm resistance and not connecting to earth should i still replace valves. Car drives in ist gear and reverse only.Thanks

Usually this are the N215/216 solenoids that are worn and can't open/close properly. I would start by changing those. If that does not help then a mechanical valve could be worn also and that is impossible to change.
Is this n215/N216 related to studdering and jerky take off 1st gear from stop light as well? I noticed going in reverse is also jerky.

Could a bad solenoid be the reason my 2006 Audi A3 SB with dsg is making a clunk (metal on metal) sound when downshift from 3rd to 2nd gear?
Just a sound, it doesn't affect the driving at all and the gearbox shifts precise and fluid like a dream...

Can be solenoid yes, but can also be mechanical problem inside gearbox.
It could be the flywheel. The flywheel on these cars go bad quick.

Hi I have a open circuit fault relating to the n215. The code is p1814. I’ve removed the mechatronics, tested the valve which is reading good, checked the wiring harness which is all good and today I removed the plastic cover hoping to see a broken wire/solder joint but everything seems fine. Depends on many things. Possibly you have a sticky valve or a worn clutch.

Depends on what type of gearbox it is. Can be DSG6 or DSG7. For DSG6 I only use OEM oil. there might be many brands to replace it and might be as good as OEM but as I only use oem oil I do not have any experience with other brands.

Gigi, how to perform gearbox adaptation before I can drive, if Ross-tech states, that gearbox oil has to be between 30-100°C? Is it OK if just run car still and wait till gearbox oil temperature reaches at least 30?
Yes, you have to start the engine and let it idle until temp is high enough. On diesel you can also rev it a bit while standing still so the temp gets up faster.
Does gearbox shows any errors while warming up oil, before i do adaptation?

Normally you will delete all errors before starting adaptation. So key on ignition point, erase all errors , ignition off, on again and start the engine. No error should be present if unit is OK.

Sorry for the late reply. The mechatronic unit can be repaired if the fault is still there after changing the solenoids.

HI, my golf gti mk6 2009 has had a solenoid a pressure control stuck on “on” code p0747.
I garage said they are repairing the mechatronic but they are saying that they cant just change the solenoid “a”.

My 02e has an APR tune. I recently did a DSG adaption and now it only shifts when its cold. When it gets to operating temp the car pops out of gear into neutral. It can go back into first gear but it will not shift into second. Reverse pops out while using it.
I installed new clutch packs and borg warner frictions a year ago and swapped the n215 and n216 solenoids. I went with ebay parts. This time I bought borg warner solenoids. Do you think this might solve the issue? Thanks again!
@@Messy_Jesse Depends on hardware number of the mechatronic ... changing the speed sensor is quite easy .. remove mechatronic , look on left side of gearbox housing. Remove screw , replace sensor , put mechatronic back in.

The problem when i try to change from Drive to Neutral. Gearbox start to clunk VERY HARD(almost everytime) and sometimes gear indicator disappears on dashboard. Then i only can to engage gearbox in second gear when put in drive again, before i restart a car.
I change oil and filter, gearbox work from then excellent, but after 7000-8000km same problem start again. Change oil one more time but now nothing happend, same problem.
Sometimes hard downshits from 3-2 and 2-1.
Do you have idea what it can be?

My vcds picked up a fault n216 short to B+
PRND was flashing and not going into reverse
When I checked the resistance on the n216 it was 4.9ohms
So I decided to change it and now it's still doing the same thing and the resistance is also at 4.9ohms
But now it's banging into drive and still flashing after u drive for couple meters

S a fisurat iar baza acumulatorului chiar în dreptul supapei pe unde respira mechatronicul și mi a dat uleiul afara.
Și am mers cu ea pana a pus cutia pe liber. Am desfăcut mechatronicul și am resudat baza acumulatorului dar după ce îl montez îmi cupleza cutia într o viteza pe înainte( bănuiesc ca a 2-a, pentru ca pleacă un pic mai repde de pe loc decât normal) și nu o mai pune pe liber. Pentru ca dacă dau reverse îmi da șocuri și se oprește motorul.
Cred ca este un solenoid nasol care a rămas cuplat. ( o sa îi masor săptămâna ăsta)
Probabil cam tarziu, dar gasesti placa nou mai hroasa in carne pe aliexpress la chinezoi, dupa codul de pe ea mai ales daca e dq200, gasesti toate piesele din ea, unele reconditionate. Pret 150 pana la 450 lei cu tot vu set garnituri. Originala are 2,4mm grosime, astea au 4,6mm grosine in zona aia.

Might be your TCM that has a problem and not not the solenoid... only way to know is cut it open and check it.

You can't change PCB on DSG6.

moniter with vcd pressure on k1 and k2 build up for a second then it goes to zero

Pe vcds imi da codul de eroare P18222 care ma duce la valva de presiune N215, e posibil sa fie un scurtcircuit sau trebuie sa schimb tot solenoidul? Unde as putea sa gasesc asa ceva. Mulțumesc
It can be both , but if your car is older than 2009 I would say it is the Mechatronic unit that is defective and not the solenoid.

I will measure the n217 valva see what it give must be 0.5 ohm or what if the case is that the valve is fault than i will replace it and see what it does
Does faulty n215/n216 valve make DSG slam violently into reverse or drive after performing DSG reset ?? THANK YOU. I noticed after performing the reset and putting it into drive it slams hard. It corrected itself after a 10 min drive . Could the n215 be defective thats causing this?
Could be a sticky valve, old oil, or worn mechanical valve.

Salute to you for great perspective. I replaced a DMF in my 06 vw tdi with dsg 6 speed. While there I changed the clutches. Now I'm having clutch slipping/chattering in all gears. It is driveable and shifts fine. No codes on VCDS. I logged 11/12 in measuring block and under throttle clutch pressure rising but drops when slip. What do you think master @Gigibelea

did you figure out your issue that you were having, i am experiencing all the same symptoms, changed my clutches made no difference and my pressures also drop when the clutches start to slip as soon as car is warm it slips in every gear but no fault codes, i did replace all my solenoids a bit ago as my main pressure solenoid failed but i think i was sent fake ones as they didn’t quite look like the ones that were taken off

Hello Gigi ! Can u tell me if it a mechatronic or clutch problem ? For example i am going with 65 km/h with 6 gear , i press acceleration but does not change into 5 , it still goes with 6 even if it is with verry low rmp , i have to press harder on the acceleration to make the changing , and the enging is forging to go faster and when it changes the gear it makes a an unconfortable boost . And other problem not sure if it is a problem , when i let the foot of the pedal in 2 maxim 3 meters the gear changes intro second gear with no acceleration. Thankyou verry much !
Check your rear wheel bearings, there are the ABS sender gaps. Usually this is the problem if it changes fine in M. If your car is remapped, talk to your tuner, might be a bad remap for your engine when runing DSG

Hi there,
I happen to have my DSG tranny unmounted due to the constant failure to engage 1st gear and the pulsations on reverse gear. A couple months ago (January 2016) I had the same problem. I ran a VAGCOM scan to find out if there was something wrong with the mechatronic module but it didn't show any DTC. As I read previously on a blog where some guys had encountered the same problem and as a suggestion for this problem was to perform an oil & filter change followed by performing Basic Settings with VAGCOM, I did as suggested and problem seem to dissapear. Back in August 2016 was when the problem became worse, pulsations on reverse were more constant and engagement of 1st gear happened at almost 2500 RPM. I started a routine inspection only to find out that water was being leaked on to the transmission oil due to a failure in the cooler. My question is: do you think problem in the lag of engagement and pulsations are due to water leaking into the oil system or my mechatronic module is the problem?

Water leaking from cooler is not good and yes , it might have damaged your mechatronic but also the clutches. I would suggest inspecting the clutches also if you have the gearbox down. Then empty the gearbox completely of oil before you put it up again. If after this you still experience problems I would suggest buying a defective unit and change all the valves as you never know which ones got "damaged" by the water leak.

If i change de dsg oil wil it work good again because maybe is the oil old and when the oil get to hot than it wil send fault prnds 2 because when the car is cold i dont have prnds flashing but engine symbole is on in the dash do you think changing oil will help
Don't think changing oil will help.
@@GigiBeleaDK First start cold engine, hard dumps coming from gearbox when I take off, works fine when engine get hot.

Hallo, Collega Gigi my vw golf V GTI dsg model 2004 flash prnds i read it out the dsg unit and errors code p1824 selenoid controle valve close to massa and p1604 sometime the car when i turn the switch on the prnds is flashing when i pull the key out and in back to switch for a couple times than it work good the prnds dont flash. and when i drive whit the prnds flashes the car dont switch to gear and stay in 2 gear than i turn the switch off than again on and of till the prnds dont flah than i can drive again normaal what can be the trouble thank u
Most likely a fault on one of the valves or on the electric circuit inside the TCM.

when i turn the switch whit no engine running prnds light up i pull the key out and than in en turn it on again prnds light again up and sometime i turn the engine un prnds light again up so i play whit it till the park light only light up thn i can drive so the trouble is i most play with the ignition switch to not to get the prnds lights so mi question is what is the trouble because when i driving the car when i get the light only p on the car drive good the whole day soon i get the ignition key out and wanna turn the engine on prnds light up than i turn the switch of and on off and on start the engine and it dooes good again what can it be collega
Then it is for sure the print circuit inside the mechatronic unit.

Salutari. Am nevoie de o informatie pretioasa. Detin o octavia 2 2006 cutie dsg1. Am mers mult cu uleiul in cutie, in scadere (cauza termoflot cutie) si a inceput sa dea probleme, erori aleatorii de genu n215,n216, presiune ulei prea slaba, interferenta mechatronic. Am demontat mechatronicul dar din cutie am scps putin ulei (cam 1 litru). E de ajuns sa bag ulei nou si la nivel sau deja trebuie schimbat mechatronic?

@@GigiBeleaDK Asa o sa fac, am verificat rezistenta pe fiecare valva si sunt toate ok. Am alta intrebare daca nu deranjez. In caz ca e nevoie sa schimb mechatronicul, am gasit ceva oferte sh , dar difera codurile la sfarsit, adica la mine se termina cu AE si am gasit altele cu AJ , AM etc la sfarsit. Conteaza acesc cod de pe calculator?

@@GigiBeleaDK Am facut schimbul de ulei (cu febi bilstain) , a mers bine masina cateva minute , dar acum cum dau sa plec intra in protectie. Nu are logica, cu ulei nou si la nivel s-a inrautatit situatia.
@@GigiBeleaDK Ca si erori , apar scurt pe n215 (uneori pe plus si uneori pe minu), uneori acurt pe n215, presiune ulei prea mica , si eroare necunoscuta. Uneori apar unele, le starg, apar altele pe urma.
hello i have a passat b6 with automatic dsg box and on the box i give the error codes: p1820 p1815 short to b + i tried 2 times to clean the solenoids but the same errors i have and the car does not go away i try a basic setting a reset prnds blinks and goes only if I start in n and after dying I powered solenoid n215 n216 and it is heard that works this is important to hear? or "thank you very much and I look forward to your response

If solenoids work then you have a failed PCB in the TCU , Or not enough oil in the transmission.

@@GigiBeleaDK when the car heats to optimum temp. The car goes only into limp home mode reverse doesnt engage and PNDRS IS flashing. I had the solonlid 2 replaced but its still doing the same thing
@@Khanvict1986 That means mechatronic unit has an electrical problem. Might be repairable , might be not , depending on where the error is.

2 de cateva ori mi s a intamplat sa accelerez pentru a depasi(eram in vit a7-a, cutia scade in vit a 5-a schimba a 6-a dar pe urma urca turatiile pana la 3 mii si nu mai schimba pe ultima, deabea dupa ce merge ceva vreme asa la 3 mii o schimba)

Ca nu stiu ce are in ea.
Pune un tester pe masina si vezi ce erori are. Cauzele poti fi multiple.
