I love homemade sour dough bread 🍞 it has been years since I've made a loaf. However, I have made a loaf from a starter, but I now have forgotten what it was called. 😂That meal looked so yummy!!

This is Grandma from Texas. I love your channel 😘. I’ve been missing your sisters videos I hope she is ok. On the sourdough starter using rye is best you can feed with any flour just not bleached. Sometimes I can’t find rye flour I have found buckwheat flour is really good to start with as well. If you have a Mormon cannery near you they usually have wheat berries you can buy in bulk and grind your own flour. There is just something so satisfying about making bread. Please ask your sister not to give up on her RUclips channel. I miss her sweet face. Thank you for making these videos for us🥰

I actually just made my first loaf of sourdough bread today! My daughter shared her starter with me after I tried (unsuccessfully) to make my own. I don’t have any of the equipment either, no scale, etc. and just used tea towels and a regular bowl. I used a basic recipe from the internet and it turned turned out great. My church women’s group held our annual bake sale a couple of weeks ago and loaves of sourdough bread sold for $15 each and was in high demand. It was fun to learn the process and was not nearly as complicated as I has feared. 😊

Have you tried turning your fresh bread upside down and start cutting from the bottom? It works on most breads and is easier to get a good slice.

Starting over. Sarah, it came to me you might consider going to a recording studio and record the Bible in CD.. your voice is soft and comforting..i believe you could sell the CD's..i have a hard time finding audio Bible to listen to..i don't like the music, i just want God's Word..just a thought..love your videos...keep em coming

@@nancypeteja6560 I just use a 1/2 cup of warm water, and 1 cup of All Purpose Flour and mix. Discard & Repeat. Keep it in a warm spot.🫶🏻
