Me personally, I would leave the handle. The whole thing is so beautifully aged and if you cut the handle off you won't have that wonderful patina. Also when it's cut it is hard to do it evenly. I think the handle is the perfect place to set the wick trimmers too. 😊

This is Grandma from Texas. I would leave the handle. You can use it to transport items. It looks like a mini chopping board so u could use it to serve small items lemon wedges nuts etc. use it to chop fresh spices and actually serve fresh spices for some case plus you are so talented at styling anything you could stand it up behind something that you want to showcase. You could also apply little feet. So many options. Thank you for sharing. Please tell your sister that I miss her. 😘

What a fun time going thrifting with a little group! Looks like you found some handy items too! I'd personally keep the handle on the board because if you cut it off you'll have an unstained side that won't match (although you could stain to match maybe?). It also adds character! 🙂

I have wooden trivets like yours that I use for my hot saucepans from the stovetop. I love the handles as it makes them easier to move and no pun intended easier to handle ( okay maybe it was intended) 😂

I do not mind the handle on the wood board you can use it in other ways also as a board for lunch with cheese and crackers or just as a decorative piece along a book shelf. It seems as though you have a lot of thrifting sites where you live I wish we had a few. I live in the southern part of California above LA and below Bakersfield. The canisters look really nice.

The little chair was so cute! I've been collecting antique and vintage chairs and have them all around my home with plants or some type of decor/vignette. I don't know where i got the idea but its really cute! Some of the chairs are really old and ornate, very pretty for decor. The oval picture was so pretty! I'd definitely leave the handle on the little cutting board, you'll lose the uniqueness of it. I have a several small ones, with holes in the handle, hanging in my kitchen. We don't have either store, but both are an hour away.. so i shop Walmart. We will be getting A Sams membership for our recovery home and go once a month to stock up on certain things. I like to lean my cutting boards against the walls behind countertop when not using, the ones with handles makes.for great decor, therefore, I would keep handle.
We have Sam’s and Costco. I shop both! I find I like certain things at Costco and other things at Sam’s. I always buy my gas there so just the savings in gas pays for the memberships. Not to mention the other savings.

We have a Sam's club and i really dislike it. They don't have nearly the organic selections that Costco has and their prices seem to be way more. I wish we had a Costco nearby.

The lady buying popcorn spinners for her girls, when they get married? It is never for when a daughter is in medical school, an Art Institute, nursing school. Getting married is not an occupation and it takes two incomes to get a family started. Why not apply the same principles to the male and the female? We do not know what tomorrow holds for any of us. What happens if a husband dies?

@@kristencurry3715 We pray in my house. Successfully married 30 years, with the nicest, humble, educated, children that are leaders in the community. It is not fair to hold the daughters back, put them at a grave disadvantage in the world we live in. I actually lived in a cottage, in the middle of the woods, no phone, no technology, grew all of our own food, etc. My father’s dream for us, was to be as educated as possible, to face the complexity of the world that we live in. He understood that he needed to encourage individualism and confidence. How do you think Nobel Peace Prize winners, medical researchers whose discoveries save millions of lives, become the driven people that they become?

I love to watch your channel . Won't those stickers come off the glass cannisters.? they are neat. I put brown sugar in mine and it started to dry out. So I put it in a zipper bag in the cupboard.
