will the epson ET-3830 have to be turned on to be able to print from a iPhone or another computer ? unlike a cannon which is automatically turned on ?
I am on my second Epson 3760. First one no problem printing PDF documents from my phone. This one it will print the PDF documents but not the information that has been typed in or filled on on the PDF document. Any suggestions?

Do not have buttons on printer other than to operate the Epsom printer. It worked ok via previous modem.

I have an Epsom Xp 342. I don’t have trouble using the app when printing out on glossy photo paper but when I print out on normal white card something I have drawn and scanned in , it comes out with a grey background.
My idea is to be able to colour the print with coloured pencils but the grey background spoils the image before I have even started. What am I doing wrong? I have done the cleaning test etc so it isn’t that.

Thank you for vid. QUESTION: I'm trying to print a simple Word doc from my Iphone 13 with my brand new Epson ET-3850. The Print Dialogue doesn't show up as it would with a HP or other printer. I called customer service and was asked to download Epson iPrint or Epson Smart Panel Both apps disrupt the formatting of the doc and print in huge font. I tried with several different documents and it's the same thing. (Silly to think that anyone who wants to print needs to download and set up a whole different app just to print a page!). From Apple computer there's no issue. Help! I don't want to return this printer. It promised to be great :(

It depends on the printer. You need to get it on wifi before you can use it with your phone. Unless it has wifi direct, then you connect your phone direct to the printers wireless and can print that way.

That model is not airprint compatible unfortunately.
We have an Epson xp-440 and on our iphone when we open the print action and add a printer, it scans and says no printers found. The printer and phone are both on our home wifi... Any suggestions?
Still can't figure this out. Wondering if it's because our wifi is dual band (2.4 ghz and 5ghz with band steering) on same ssid... Devices auto connect to the most appropriate band.. And I'm wondering if our iphone are connecting the the 5ghz band while the printer is connecting to the 2.4?

Unfortunately I don't have a setup for that. I use a lav mic connected to the camera and a headset for screenshares, I don't think that would work for what I have.
