Blame BioWare for their stupid writing If after the end credit cutscene was Varric chilling in the fade and then Hawke showed up and said “What’s taking you?” or something like that I wouldn’t have felt so disappointed about it (I know Hawke may not die in DAI but literally EVERYONE was like ‘You know the cannon is that Hawke died in the fade right?’ 🙄 so if that’s the case BioWare could’ve given the player this)
Thank you for uploading this, even though it makes me mad to see. 😆What a flat-ass, deflating, dissatisfying, disrespectful ending. They outright hijacked my dear Inquisitor (whose voice it made my heart flutter to hear once more), put words in her mouth and forced choices upon her. I may have been PAINFULLY limerent on Solas, and this sort of kiss-and-make-up scene may have been what I ached for FOR YEARS, but guess what Bioware? That bloody ship has sailed. It's too little too late. After ten years of waiting, WE HAVE ALL MOVED ON. I am ashamed of this limerent-ass Inquisitor we see before us today. She's worthy of more than waiting around for her stupid little eggheaded loser boyfriend to get turned around by a council of women so they can share a gross, dirty-faced, bloody-mouthed, forehead-banging kiss before riding conveniently into the Fade-coloured sunset together. I'm sorry, but I'm mad. It feels like being presented with the toy I wanted for Christmas when I was 12 ten years later when I'm 22 and don't want it anymore. It's just insulting of Bioware to imagine they can right the wrongs of the Solas romance with this crap. It doesn't even feel believable. I cannot for the life of me suspend my disbelief watching this poorly written scene. It is not the Solas from DA:I and it is not the way a villain goes through a believable or a satisfying redemption arc.
Every ending I see is lamer than the last one. F*** this destruction of one of the best videogame mythologies. I hope everyone at Bioware and EA are shamed for eternity for this, that when they walk up to the pearly gates, they are greeted by Saint Peter and he says: "wow, you really messed that up."
I thought this was Mortal Kombat
I'm glad they gave him a redemption story ending but I will never forgive him for killing Varric.
Varric lived on my play through, Solas even apologized for hurting him.- not that that excuses him.

That's it? This wishy-washy ending? Just like the whole game and conversations. 🤬
