The fact that this game gives absolutely no homage to the first two games' player characters and a minor cameo for the third is such a slap to the face of the long term fans of this franchise. But then again all the people responsible for the characters and stories we've loved have long since left Bioware. This version is but a shadow of itself filled with people ill-fitted to bear the mantle of their deposed predecessors.
I mean this takes place 22 years after origins. I don’t have a huge interest in cheap cameos and fan service when it’s THAT forced. Each game is a new protagonist. We don’t need to force in previous protagonists from 3 different games. I’m always happy to see morrigan, the inquisitor cameo was a bit cheap, but I guess relevant considering it’s pertaining to Solas, Isabela was overused in this game. @@BBS-dl1lt I will concede on the fading importance of the Hero of Ferelden two decades later; but they still were the last one in recent memory to have killed an Archdemon, two more of which has just been released by Solas.
