This 'product' is clearly starting to develop for a multiplayer/co-op game. And i have a high suspicions the combat system was also changed in the last couple of months. To bad.
Since I haven’t played the game I won’t say anything about it (yet), but why did they change the title from Dread Wolf to Veilguard? It took away all the suspense of Solas’s character and plan
I assume they didn't want to scare away new people which is why Solas isn't the antagonist anymore and they added the gods instead. Solas gets sidelined for the majority of the game
i have big question for you i can use DA3 save game or is like DA3 cannot use old game save game like Da2 use DA1 save game? i can change part like inquisitor keep inquisition active still?
you can't use save games for this. You can only customise your Inquisitor's race, appearance, and voice, and customise 3 decisions from Dragon Age Inquisition in the character creator for DA: Veilguard. The menu to customise the Inquisitor and Inquisition decisions is on the right, on the last page of the Rook character customisation that says "Finalise". And yes, one of those 3 choices is what you did with the inquisition - disband, or keep in service to the Chantry. The other 2 choices are: Who did you romance? and Did you vow to stop/save Solas, or did you vow to kill him.
@@EastlakeRasta7 Unfortunately, yes, our previous decisions have never mattered less in a dragon age game TT_TT It is the most disappointing thing about Veilguard for me thus far too. People were up in arms ever since this bit was announced a month or so back

This is honestly very surprising to see the Inquisitor appear in this game. Its just like how Hawke appeared in Inquisition. But there is something everyone should be aware of, if they are not too busy blindly hating on the game and not giving it a chance by actually play it. its been almost 30 years since the events of origins, so by now, both the Hero of Fereldon and Allistair, should either be dead or about to die, remember the average lifespan of a warden after joining is 30 years. Also depending on choices in the previous games, Hawke either died in the fade or gone into hiding. So im thinking something will happened the Inquisitor may really die in this game.
Especially HoF and Alistair, given that those who executed the joining during a Blight would have an even shorter lifespan. It just sucks that it all seems ignored still since we had a nice side-mention with Leliana and how HoF was searching for a cure.
Man.. i had to deal with some lows lows and mid points in this game but to finally get to this moment with the inquisitor at the end.. it was so worth it.😩👌
Why is the animation so stiff and emotionless during dialogues ? I actually really like what i've seen from the game so far, but even if the characters look better the animation is lifeless. Inquisition didn't look as good but the reactions and conversations seemed more natural :/ It takes away a part of the immersion. (I'm also sad it's not an open world anymore)
Maybe is a good thing that the HoF never returned. I can't imagine the fandom's outrage if BioEA did to him what they did with Hawke and Inky's cameos.
@varric I understand it wasn't perfect, I do believe he/she could've been handled better. But at least they were respectful with the choices of the players, and the writing wasn't awful. I mean, how can we justify a ruthless Inquisitor speaking about the power of love and friendship? Geez

I'm glad that you can still get the best ending with the inquisitor just being a friend, although clearly the best version of this is the one where your inquisitor was an elven female that romanced Solas. This game has some of the most laziest writing I've ever seen from whatever passes for "Bioware" now. What we have now is a cowardly Bioware that doesn't challenge itself. Everything is setup to be ultra safe and minimize the amount of work they have to do if they ever make another game. Your character is exceptionally limited in how they can behave. Only 3 choices carry over, most plot threads are just dropped, full of woke propaganda, the most popular character removed at the very beginning for cheap shock value and a cheap twist - and how convenient it is that nobody manages to mention anything in passing about this character throughout the entire game, the best written villain sidelined for 2 less interesting villains, it feels like the game's beginning and end are fairly competently made, and everything in-between is just filler. The ending is also incredibly safe, ensuring that the veil is upheld no matter what, and all you can influence is how Solas feels about it. The bad ending probably doesn't matter because we'll probably never see Rook or any of the companions again anyway, nor will anyone care to. And to top it off, we get the overarching council of evil afterscenes credits.

Southern Thedas and the Grey Wardens can't catch a break lol. The Fifth Blight, Corypheus, Adamant Fortress, and this time another frickin Blight and Weisshaupt is besieged again. They're lucky the Inquisitor is around to keep order this time
Such a clusterfuck of a cliches and lazy gamedev. Almost no connection to previous games
One of the Inquisitor endings is missing
So, this is the "canonical" Inquisitor? Man, our choices mean nothing.
No
I hope not
The inquisitor has to be an elf woman for the solas romance to be possible. Like it was in the last game.
The devs already told us, oops, choices mean nothing and will continue to mean nothing. Set dressing. We waited 10 years. :(
No you can chose the appearance of the inquisitor and answer questions about who you romanced and some of the choices you made.
Am i the only one who thinks, Morrigan doesn’t look like Morrigan at all? What did they do to her?
Apparently, Morrigan let Flemeth slightly possess her if that makes sense. The same Morrigan whose been running from Flemeth for three games... They literally went between line for well of sorrows. So much for having no canon.
Only one emotion: LOOOOOOOOOOL. That's all?
That’s a prosthetic arm right? Like a hooked hand?
Thanks, really wanted to see how this plays out if the elf inquisitor had a relationship and also not.
Please tell me there's a way to determine our Inquisitor personality like we did with Hawke in Inquisition. Because if this is everything they can say i am terribly disappointed, i can't believe i'm going to see my Adaar being all like "Nothing beats friendship, i believe in you Rook 🥰"
Nope u can't pick the inquisitiors personality so the convos are mostly the same for every inquisitior
seriously, my Inquisitor was a harsh ruler who took nobodies shit and even kicked Sera out because she was a nuisance and didn't fit my strict rulership.
its like they forgot that the Inquisitor could literally execute people on their command and was capable of doing some pretty shady stuff.
@@joedatius Nooo, Inquisitor was nice person who ruled with kisses, cuddles and power of friendship
It's even best if you romance Solas, and he doesn't mention Lavellan to Rook in the whole game, but Lavellan on the first meeting is all sobby to Rook and stumbling on her words over what they shared, and how much Solas means to her.
@@pativi6643 I hate the games writing
Nostalgic use of Cassandra's theme here.
i was hoping for a glorious battle against solas which results in either one of our death, Origins Style.
Thank youuuuuu
Man 9:08 makes no sense to me, shouldn't the inqusitor be wearing armor and not their skyhold pyjamas?! XD
Should have selected the Solas Romancing Inquisitor. Would have been better
Are there really no other scenes? These felt more like nearly useless cameos. Seeing Dorian and Isabella made me feel like it even more.
The Trevor Morris music there made me tear up
who is that lost child and where is the real inquisitor?
Exactly what I was searching for/waiting to see, and I am so glad I got my Inquisitor+Dorian sharing the screen question answered by this video too. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FAST UPLOAD NOW I CAN SLEEP BETTER
And she has her left hand back?
Looks like a prosthetic. Like Neve's leg.
this is sht but i liked how they brought back the inquisitor theme
Inquisitor > Rook
When does the Inqky show up? Hopefully not much in later…
And here I thought Solas had killed Mythal at the end of DAI.
DORIAN
The Inquisitor sent Varic and Harding alone on a suicide mission with no real plan and no support. Absolutely no remorse about Varic.
Thank you for this video. I was waiting for it. Can you please upload the cutscenes of Ghilan'nain with the 2 dragons fight.
Good to see the inq doing stuff I. The background fighting off the blight in southern thedas
They did the Inquisitor dirty in Veilguard, but the moment they said Inquisition's choices in the Character Creator will be minors in the story, it was already over. I understand why introducing a new protagonist was the way (easier for new players to relate etc...) but Veilguard was the direct sequel to Inquisition and it was a first in the series.
The game should have at least made the Inquisitor have a bigger role without being playable, the same way Leliana was in Inquisition, problem is they should have aknowledged our past choices and it's clear that's what they were trying to avoid.
My only issue with the game is that all this hype for Solas to be the true villain but no boss fight with him at all
Is there any dialogue difference if you kept the Inquisition intact?
11:28 does the romanced solas will have a different dialogue with the inquisitor?
Yes, it also ends with the Inquisitor leaving with Solas
How do I get the second meeting in Dock Town? So far I only got the first meeting.
Can someone help me please? I'm already at act 3 and no second meeting so far.
So we spend 2 hours in character creation painstakingly remaking our Inquisitor for a few scenes? 😢
Harding: remember i served the inquisition
Me: who the F are you ? i only remember one dwarf from inquisition it was varric
Also my inquisitor has lost her left arm so how come this one still has it ????
Also Claudia (morrigan) sounds so off
It's a prosthetic. That doesn't compensate for the awful writing though.
@@genesisleon, a prosthetic in medieval times, tf.
that is what i was thinking, ain't no way in dead no darl fantasy you can go for prosthetic arm.
this isn't naruto 😂
@@antoniobrown247 I think there were some cases in history where people did use some sort of prosthetic, mostly made out of wood. It's also a fantasy game, but don't get me wrong, I'm not defending this mediocre game. I can't believe how they butchered the legacy of the previous games...
You never met Harding? She was around in Inquisition.
8:51 LMAO Everybody's in full plate and she just rolls up in a shirt xD Alix did a fine job on the voice work but jesus, the game is a cringefest from start to finish.
Well my inquisitor is living with Cullen, raising puppies and babies 😭😭😭 I really wanted the choice! (Also, Im 20 hours in and I decided to save Treviso because fuck Neve - am I not getting the cameo?)
Okay..I want to see romanced Lavellan scenes 😅
Solas and Mythal were lovers. And the inquisitor...almost the same catscen, Mythal will persuade Solas not to destroy the world, and the inquisitor, as a faithful simp, will say: Solas, I want to leave with you. He will say: Ok. They will kiss and leave together. No, this isn't a joke.
@Flop5303 I know what you're referring to lmao and that's not exactly correct fam
I think it should have been Morgan son if she had him or Inquisitor
The only reason I'm playing veilguard is because of my inquisitors romance with Solis.
Didn’t even prompt me to make my inquisitor, did I mess up?
How did the inquisitor get their arm back??
Same way Neve's keep her severed leg.
Prosthetic
Is there a scene at the end with and Inquisitor who vowed to stop Solas at any cost?
Yes it was a scene in DAI but it was an options to either save him or stop him at any cost.
So, how come the Inquisitor has 2 arms when he/she shouldve lost the left one?
This 'product' is clearly starting to develop for a multiplayer/co-op game.
And i have a high suspicions the combat system was also changed in the last couple of months. To bad.
Since I haven’t played the game I won’t say anything about it (yet), but why did they change the title from Dread Wolf to Veilguard? It took away all the suspense of Solas’s character and plan
I assume they didn't want to scare away new people which is why Solas isn't the antagonist anymore and they added the gods instead. Solas gets sidelined for the majority of the game
technically, this is only the scene from an non-romanced inquisitor lol
Where is the rizz, Inquisitor...
This better not be default wardrobe, my Qunari Inquisitor with that get up... just no
she looks so masculine ugh, like Quagmire
Lmao 😂 no man not like Quagmire
We want to see . What Morrigans husband look like
i have big question for you
i can use DA3 save game or is like DA3 cannot use old game save game like Da2 use DA1 save game?
i can change part like inquisitor keep inquisition active still?
you can't use save games for this.
@@komorebi_8 so all my decisions Inquisition amount to nothing ultimately in the sequel??
@@EastlakeRasta7yes! :) amazing right?
@@EastlakeRasta7 Unfortunately, yes, our previous decisions have never mattered less in a dragon age game TT_TT It is the most disappointing thing about Veilguard for me thus far too. People were up in arms ever since this bit was announced a month or so back
@@komorebi_8 the writing was on the wall considering none of your decisions matter in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition saddly
Didn't Solace remove Inky's arm after tresspasor? I'm guessing the new writers didn't play the games....
As someone who played inquisition on console i do not rant about her face here and they did not try to gaynize her
And that's the only good thing i can say about this gamee😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well I guess I have to be that guy and just ask the question how the hell did the Inquisitor grow back their left arm tell me that.
…it’s a prosthetic
She's an axolotl.
I did like the game. But inquis writing was so beautiful for solavellan, this just pales in comparison 😢
Honestly I've read better fanfiction. I understand why Weeks left, justice cor Weeks!
Weekes wrote all this mess after Gaider left.
why the hell is she wearing her mother tiara and boots and colors? that aint morrigan
Man.. i had to deal with some lows lows and mid points in this game but to finally get to this moment with the inquisitor at the end.. it was so worth it.😩👌
Why is the animation so stiff and emotionless during dialogues ? I actually really like what i've seen from the game so far, but even if the characters look better the animation is lifeless. Inquisition didn't look as good but the reactions and conversations seemed more natural :/
It takes away a part of the immersion.
(I'm also sad it's not an open world anymore)
They made the Inquisitor dirty.
Hard pass! 👎
Maybe is a good thing that the HoF never returned. I can't imagine the fandom's outrage if BioEA did to him what they did with Hawke and Inky's cameos.
@varric c'mon Varric, at least the writing was okay in Hawke's cameo. The choices did matter there.
@@genesisleon And yet, there's some complains about how they change Hawke in some sort.
@varric I understand it wasn't perfect, I do believe he/she could've been handled better. But at least they were respectful with the choices of the players, and the writing wasn't awful. I mean, how can we justify a ruthless Inquisitor speaking about the power of love and friendship? Geez
currently playing it and love the combat tbh but lore/story wise they completely butchered the game, like what were they seriously thinking?? did they learn NOTHING from ME:A? like at all? why is it so hard for these companies to hire actual competent writers that have ACTUAL respect for the source material?!and I beg these companies to start hiring fanfic writers because they're the only ones who actually seem to care for the actual characters atp, my goodness
I had to go with Evelyn trevelyan. I don’t like elves lol.
This would be so much better if you could actually make your inquisitor look like they did in dai
You can ig this person just didn't want too
@ashertathren3495 You can customize them, but you can't really get them that close to your inquisitor
@@Otinashi well obviously and it's kinda normal after 10 years... the faces look better but you can still make it similar enough. It also depends how well ppl customize it. If they can't use the options correctly it's on them tbh...
Ahh, "The Dawn Will Come". They have got to remaster the Inquisition, even the previous games, with these designs.
No please not. This game looks horrendous. Inquisition had better designs.
Yall, I understand a lot of you got into Dragon Age through Inquisition so youre very DAI centric. Its been 10 years, they are doing exposition for the uninitiated new fans. Like how when DAI came out there were a ton of new fans who didn’t understand shit about Hawke from DA2. And that was only a 3 year release date difference
So is it canon the inquisitor is a female elf that romanced solas because if so that’s wack asf, solas was my dog but I made the choice to stop him at any cost
Female elf with no romance is the default
@@yang6642well damn
No you can create your own Inquisitor
@@JD-Media but you think the canon inquisitor is a female elf? Because that’s the only version of the inquisitor I’ve seen
@@kingstonmclean4205It’s definitely the one BioWare sort of wants you to use (10 years of yapping from the Solavellan fans seems to have gotten to them)
The Inquisitor has both arms?! There is no proethetic. In Trespasser, the left arm was severed, because the anchor was killng it.
…she *is* wearing a prosthetic
@ one that is animated to move from the wrist, not from the shoulder.
@@2006ade Yeah, because the Inquisitor didn’t lose everything leading up to the shoulder. Trespassers ending shows that they only lost everything from below the elbow and were left with a stump.
@ it lost half of arm. HALF of it. It shouldn’t move from the wrist. The only piece left was from shoulder to elbow.
@@yang6642 honestly wish they didn't have one. it would of helped make more sense why they aren't playable and it actually shows the passage of time more clearly.
