"Regret. Because she knew she won't see me again" you MURDERED HER in DAO lmaooo She turned into a dragon and you took her book. When she mentioned regret, I first thought she meant over *her* actions. Just incredible, three games of resisting being assimilated into Mythal and now she's like 'woops, I guess there was nothing to be scared of :)'
To be fair, she misunderstood what Flemeth wanted to do. She thought Flemeth was going to take over her body and essentially kill her. She learned in Inquisiton that she was never in any danger of that. Then she learned after Flemeth died that she would keep her own memories and personality; she would just be housing a spirit.
No. It goes against her character. She values control. She values freedom. Something like that is deeply ingrained in the psyche of an individual. You don't just go whoopsie. Its an automatic reaction. You can grow as a person but you can't change something so deeply ingrained. If you could then there would be less addicts.
Yeah the well doesn’t matter but they explained Morrigans knowledge as coming from Flemeth because of her blood relation to her, regardless of the well and inquisitor. Wouldn’t have changed much honestly besides maybe the inquisitor knowing something or maybe the inquisitor being the mythal guide instead of Morrigan here. That would’ve been cool.
Morrigan learns that she was never in danger of Flemeth taking over her body, in Inquisition. It was a misunderstanding. When flemeth died, she took that realization into account. Her body isn’t being used. She is her own person.
@@dylanbratton2176is this still not a complete retcon considering what we see in Origins? Flemeth literally has a set of Morrigan's robes called "possession robes" or something similar in her hut. Also, it lines up with the idea they there have been many witches of the wild and also that we don't see any of Felemeth's other daughters.
Regret to inform you that is not true. Morrigan is actually one of the characters they nailed. But you won’t know that unless you played the damn game.
Wait what? Didn't she run away in DA:O? Cuz it sounds like she accepted it the moment the spirit wanted to posses her. But that wasn't the case. She thought Flemeth is using her daughters to extend her life and so Morrigan ran away, hating her mother ever since. It's only in DA:I she was told the truth about Mythal and that she would have never been forced to accept the spirit
Peoples comments on Morrigan's appearance and the "wokeness" issues in the game cheapen the real problem that they mishandled these beloved characters and narrative as a whole. Yall just hate women and its depressing.
This. Most people do not understand how broken Veilguard is not in terms of "wokeness", graphics or design. It ruined the very essence of Dragon Age - our choices, decisions and player characters.

No mention of Kieran :(
Forreal
No need for Kieran, Flemeth took the old soul from him into herself.
yea in Inquisition my elf inquisitor drank the well of sorrow seems like it doesnt matter what you do in any of the dragon age game
The Veilguard is not a sequel to any Dragon Age :(

What was the point of Morrigan's arc of refusing to let her body be used???

I recognize the voice, but the character is a stranger. Not my Dragon Age.
Morrigan is ten years older. Wisdom change everyone’s personality. She sounds more like Flemeth but more direct.

@@naniwa111 It’s not an issue with the personality. This woman’s appearance only superficially resembles Morrigan. The artstyle is awful.

Wait that bit morrigan said about the Almarri chieftan...did she just confirm Andraste was a fragment of Mythal?

This was a beautiful moment, thank you for sharing.
I suppose I should be glad she wasn’t turned into a sassy black woman who don’t need no man.
Yet.
Ok
The wall conquers all women, even video game characters apparently.
