I put rough country trac bars on my '16 sierra and love them. Definitely more power into the ground and the rear end rarely slips at all now
I’ve been looking at rough country because I have the 6inch rough country lift, how does it ride with a lift!? Should I go bigger and more robust?

I have the rough country lift on my truck with the anti axle wrap lift blocks and have no need for track bars lol

Just ordered some from rough country, I got a 7.5” lift and tow a skid steer every now n then, gna see if it helps stabilize driving while towing
i got a L99 f250 cclb on 35s going to 37s with a 6" lift and had wicked axel wrap so i went with flight fab trac bars made my ride night and day difference when i take off

Which one do you recommend for stopping my trucks rear end from hopping around when hitting bumps? I have a 22 Colorado Z71 Long Bed Crew Cab stock height in the rear.
I have a 2016 Ram Outdoorsman, at full send off the line I get severe wheel hop, even up to 20mph take off and i get
wheel hop.

How does it do with ground clearance? I’m thinking of putting them on my 09 Silverado also
@user-tg9mj5tj6f it didn't really affect the ground clearance much. I didn't do a lot of rock crawling with it, so I didn't notice any issues. I've since traded the truck in for a jeep, so I don't have it to make any measurements for ya. They did seem to help alot with wheel hopping though. And helped when under heavy acceleration.

I want traction bars to prevent wheel hop, axle wrap, and just plain breaking stuff! Lol. I also off road with my 6" lifted Silverado. So does anyone recommend a low profile traction bar? Don't want one that hangs too low! Thanks

I got kaotic concepts trac bars on my 2014 f150 with a bds 6in lift, but do you think the KC trac bars are good or is there a better option I could use instead. Other than that the KC trac bars are working fine.

02 lb7 had them when I bought it. The bracket was welded to the axle and after one weekend of a little fun ended up putting a small crack on both sides. Now it leaks and I have a project

My truck had the Rize Industries full floating traction bars, but both sides have cracked welds and broke at the eyelets that connected to the bracket on the rear end. Even though I believe they have a design flaw, I'd like to find a good replacement set of the Rize traction bars. My truck has a 10 inch Rize lift too, so it would all match if I replaced the Rize bars with another Rize set. It's a shame that Rize is no longer in business 😕
What’s the difference between traction bars and kicker bars?

Can you run tractions bars and airlift?
Just got a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 after graduating college and I'm planning on getting the truck leveled and putting on 20x10's with 33'' tires. I want to make sure I get the most out of the truck since it is new to me and what I will be daily driving for a while. Will I need aftermarket upper control arms and other components with a 2'' or 2.5'' leveling kit? I have seen some people say yes and some people say no the factory control arms are just fine. I wanted your opinion because I want the truck to stay in good shape since I am planning on keeping it for a long time.
Leveling kits don’t require it, BUT it never hurts to upgrade if ya are in need of new ones!

I'm running BDS Recoil Traction Bars on my 2021 F350 King Ranch Long-Box Antimatter Blue with 4" BDS 4-Link Long Arm, Coil-Over, Fox upgrades, dual steering stabilizers, airbags with compressor and wireless remote, camper tie-downs all rolling on 37X12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers wrapped over a set of 20X10-18 Anthem Off-Road Rogues in Black and Milled. We pack a slide-in four season truck camper with a full wall slide and notice the difference in stability of the truck and camper setup when driving down the road. I definitely noticed the axial wrap prior to the Traction Bars, their worth it 👌

I recently installed a BDS 4" lift kit with their 2.5 coil-overs, deaver leaf springs and am considering adding BDS traction bars. I'm a bit undecided between their fixed traction bar and recoil. My build is primarily for off-road use (not Baja racing) to explore trails and such. I'll rarely tow anything, and if I do, it'll be my kids' power toys. Additionally, I'm planning an LS9 supercharger install and other engine upgrades to boost horsepower. Have you encountered any off-road or performance issues with the traction bars?
@@imluissebastian that all sounds awesome! I haven't had any issues with my tank. My truck goes offroad with a full size slide-in camper in the box (I'm technically a little over weight) and we periodically tow a 17' fishing boat, but it isn't a Baja beast that's for sure, lol Haven't done any horsepower upgrades yet and have been happy with it so far, I find it goes fast enough to get me on trouble as it is and has plenty of getup to do whatever or go wherever I need. Traction Bars haven't caused any problems, I have the recoil and they've been good. Rides like a dream with a load but is a little rough (hense 'tank) when it's empty. But what would you expect out of a one ton lifted truck 😆

Hey Guys I could use some input with my 2013 F-250 4x4 6.2 liter XLT it has a Ranch Hand Bullbar screened and wraps around headlight I want to keep it but push it forward about 6-8" to clear my headlight so I can access them plus give me a place to mount my 12,000lb winch... What is or would be your suggestion on how to do this and be sturdy enough that if need to use winch it don't leave the truck.. Thank you and I'm Subbed and have been and your channel did inspire me to go with 10ply Falken tires with kevlar and have added the Firestone air bag load leveler to the rear as well by watch this channel among others any insight on giving room for winch and headlight replacement clearance would be appriceated
A 6-8” bumper extension doesn’t exist, it’ll look really weird, and the amount of strain on the mounting bolts would have them snapping hitting a bump
@@CustomOffsetsTV You realize that to replace headlight bulbs on my F-250 you have to pull the grill and light housing so if its already fwrd shouldn't be a problem later if need to, but thank you for reply back on my weird inquiry. -- PEACE
I understand the purpose but my reasoning for a lift is to increase ground clearance and will this not take alot of that away
Some, but it prevents the axles from wrapping forwards/backwards

I'm thinking about putting a set of tracking bars on my 2016 Chevy 4X4 Duramax . I'm a Disabled Veteran and I can't afford to spend to much. I just bought it in June. I do want to do a lot of upgrade it little at a time. If I can get some help on my upgrades that sure would help

Do I need traction bars? 3.5" suspension lift. Not a lot of towing aside from the occasional 4 wheeler trail rides every now and the.

If it’s a factory 4 link like newer ram 2500’s you don’t need them persay, as the 4 link takes wheel hop out of the axle wrap

I've been wanting some not sure what to get. The truck is 2017 F350 Platinum diesel with 8 to 10" bds lift, and its a long bed. 37x13.5x22 wheel and tire. What would you recommend. I would love to have bds recoil with the McGaughys body
The recoils are nice, I do find though with that much lift they tend to have more play than I’d prefer (works great on not such a large lift) I prefer a rigid mount traction bar personally - rainey

BDS Reflex on my 2018 F150 Screw - function over form.
Plus, BDS 6" w/ Fox 2.5 shocks all around & UCAs w/ 35's on 18's because I don't want to dick around with rubbing or chopping up my truck just to achieve a certain appearance or to make it function. I'd rather be able to air down and not run into rubbing issues during articulation of the suspension, as opposed to inadvertently ripping something off of my truck with mushy low psi tires under load (it happened once long ago, learned that lesson & it was expensive to fix - never again).
I also beefed up the lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends with ones that have zerks.... duty-free joints are BS & lube is a good thing, especially when it's applied routinely in regular intervals.
(Since I know it's going to happen - idiot trolls will be trolls - please insert sexual innuendos and puns regarding lubrication below. Thank you.)

I have an 03 dakota and could do a 3rd gen hemi swap and put a 6.4 under the hood but it would get rid of 4wd and make it 2wd so screw it 😂 I’ll just get someone to fab it up with 4wd.

Got em on my 08 Silverado gasser, but it's 550hp 6l, I got nasty hop whith the level lift even, will have a 7.5" lift soon so new tbars bc I KNOW it'll get twisty back there. Wish I had the cash to grab a 4 link on airbags tho

Exactly like I said customization which is the same thing as modification just 2 different terms 👍👌 And yeah I like I said I like them they’re pretty cool and I think they bring good stance to a truck that’s got some customization done to it… But when it comes to every day driving you Definitely don’t need them you’re not gonna die without them 💯👌 it’s just for people who want to waste a couple thousand dollars down the drain for some honky Donk metal pieces and that’s it…I’m A welder so I can make my own if I needed too👌
