  • First fire of my new 351 Cleveland in my 70 Cougar XR7. Still needs some kinks worked out and paint and body.

    She sounds GOOOODDDDDDDD. I have a 351 2 bolt main from 72. have it all rebuilt just have never put it together. Hopefully one of these days I will have a Mustang to put it in.

    how often are you adjusting the valves with your solid cam?

    @anthony1bad351 They are Hooker competition headers. Same part for 67-70 mustang and cougar. They sell for around 200 for the pair I think.

    Thanks, Are you running pump gas on 12:1? Would know the duration/lift of your cam?

    Sounds AMAZING! Do you have a list of the parts you built that Cleveland with??? I need to wake up my low compression '73 351 CJ...

      Would be a good motor. I don't wanba run anything higher than 91 octane myself. Holy hell we may only have a decade more of expensive gas before our rides become looky loos only, eh?
