Your two old men cacti are AWESOME Ana :-D I really LOVE the hairy columnar cacti varieties, and your trolli is amazing with the pups growing at the base, and the ceramic pots are beautiful and perfect for these columnar stunners, thanks so much for sharing the fantastic repottings with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a wonderful day XXXX
I have 3 of these, I love the furry kinds of cacti! They’re not fussy at all and can take full sun. They grow so darn slow though 😅 compared to other cacti like the blue torch and Peruvian apple. Another great video ❤
Awesome cacti, Ana. I was never a fan of the hairy columnar types in the past, but they’ve grown on me lol. Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day and week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜☕️
Nice video Ana, cacti from the genus Oreocereus are among my favorite columnar cacti, so was interesting to see your specimens. I grow a whole group of these in my greenhouse collection too. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend! 😊👍🌵🌵💚😎
Love the stoneware containers!!! The lava rock looks great with the red pot!!! Potted up just the way I like them!!! Great job Ana!!! Of the two , I can only get trollii to do well. Celsianus gets this bark covering it and doesn't grow much. They grew great in so California. Not here. Only trollii. My best hairy cactus is my cephalocereus senilis. It's always grown well. And a couple of espostoas that do well also. Thanks for sharing your great plants with us Ana!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas ,have a wonderful week ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌸🌹🌴🌷🪴🌿💐🌳🍀🌱🌻🌾🌵😃👍
From experience, I think Celsianus don’t do well when kept too dry for long. Mine lost its roots twice during winter when I withheld watering. It recovers during spring but that slows its growth.
You make re potting look so easy!! And especially with big very spiny cacti like them!! I take a long time for each one..kind of a relaxing fun thing to do many times
Enjoyed your video Ana❣️ We live near, Toronto, in Canada. I have an Old Man Cactus that's about 10 years old now. I was so thrilled when I finally acqired one❣️ It has remained in the same South window since. It is only about 7" tall now (easily has doubled in size since its purchase, and I transplanted it once a few years ago) but had a little pup a few years ago (after transplant), and it's hair is quite long now at about 2"❣️😍 I adore this cactus so much❣️ Thanks again, Ana❣️💓🥰
Lovely plants Ana 🙂 I've planted a small one in my outside cactus bed this year. In a bad winter we can go down to around 14 f so I'll see how the small one does before thinking about a bigger one outside. Nicely potted 😊😊🌵🌵
I love them!! They are beautiful, I actually got one of them for free off Craigslist back in September 2021. I had to go dig it out myself and take it home but when i planted it in my house it died and all the arms fell off 😭. I probably left it out for too long without planting. Should have planted it the same day.
@@CactusCaffeine that's better! just in time for Halloween too with all those spines attached to it from repotting 😅 have a great day Ana and thanks for sharing

Nice look’n old men you got there!!!! Great vid!!!
🌵🌵🥰 Love your old men 🌵
Those spines are lethal. I had a trolli fall on my arm and the spines pierced my skin.
Ouch! Yes, be careful around these guys. 🌵

I like the pots you chose especially the blue one.
Beautiful plants! And you can always use coffee filters for the bottom pot holes. 😊
Haha, that’s true. I’ve done that many times when I ran out of screens. 😁

Ever seen the planter that looks like naked old guy with a cactus like that growing in a certain way?
I got this look from the blue pot at the end of the clip. And when can I expect it to bloom?
This has to be a certain age and size to bloom. I have yet to wait for mine to start blooming.
