This is so to the point and touches on some very simple and obvious things that many others seem to have let go by the wayside! Just excellent! MORE PLEASE! ^..^
Shawna killing the rabbit in the garden is such a mood. I've been having problems with rabbits in my garden for 4 years now and I'm about at her stage. Because I swear to God if I have another rabbit this year I will go all Shawna on it
Im here 1 year later after finally watching both seasons and dude… when you showed kevyn and started saying rest in peace lol, you somehow called it without meaning to 😭
It's good you started to cover more shows. I just watched the first ep of season 2 and I must say I barely survived until the end. The difference in quality between Yellowjackets and Severance is staggering. Watching Severance its like being in a trance, you can't stop, its mesmerising. Anyway, great job man!
I've been hoping you'd come back to Yellowjackets! I loved season one so much. I'm going to do a rewatch before starting season 2. Another excellent video, dude!
Thanks, Eva!💙. Oh, I hope you like it! It's probably as dark as Severance, but it ramps up way faster and the mysterious nature of the story works so well.
FABULOUS WORK! I sure hope that you continue to analyze these women as season two unfolds...we are almost at the finale and MAN...how things and our GOILS have changed! Much love and mad respect from New Orleans baby! ⚜🦀🦞🎺🎷🎭🥃🍺🐊^..^
I love this show! Definitely making more videos on it, soon. In a little over a week the final episode drops so, I plan to binge the 2nd half of the season and start working on it.
I have returned! Great series so far. I didn't put 2 and 2 together to realize Taissa denies believing in the supernatural stuff despite having her own first hand experiences. I think I'm most excited for answers (or at least more threads) about Taissa in general. Is the "bad one" related to her first experience with the eyeless guy, or did that start in the forest? Is she some sort of medium, channeling others? Is it more like DID with multiple personalities? Why is Sammy so vague when they're discussing the bad one, did the bad one threaten him to stay quiet maybe? Are his mood swings supposed to show he's also starting to develop his own bad one? What a rabbit hole... I also need a supercut of Misty pushing her glasses up in my life ASAP.
It has! I had the pleasure of rewatching the first season in preparation, which is great because I'd forgotten so much of the details. The word is that season two will be far more intense than the first. I can't wait to find out what that means.
@@nautilusfiles why would I resist? I'm 19 miles from the nearest store. My truck's not running. I'm too far from my nearest neighbor to walk there. It was too cold, and I in too much pain from rebuilding my fence to work outside my little trailer today. Resting my legs in bed, eating canned chicken salad sandwiches, petting my cat who's.my nurse when my disabilities flare up, ordering stuff from the big box store 25 miles away, cuz a church bus goes there every 2 weeks, so folks can shop. I don't go with them, cuz they're cruel, nasty fundamentalists, but the driver brings my pick up order and my mail. So, I'm on episode five already. I liked it better before it started leaning into the supernatural shit. I think a modern day, female dominated Lord of the Flies would be fascinating. Eyeliner, made of wood ash and animal.fat, that evolves into tattoos, body modifications. A split in the group between culturally enforced gender expectations and experimentation, divorcing from them. Ethics and morality completely reexamined. Right now, it's too IKnow What You Did Last Summer, with a splash of Misery. This could have been a much Wilder ride, without the supernaturalinfluences. Course, I could be completely wrong about that. I just like horror, science fiction and mystery more grounded in reality and survival problem solving. As I watched The Last of Us,, it finally hit me I've been living in a post apocalyptic dystopia for almost fiftybyears now. Y'all catching up with me though. Im thinking of reviving my own channel, just to teachbyou younguns how to survive.
Guess I need too watch this now. Hey. I have a request. Maybe you're more into psychological mystery box stuff for this. I'm frustrated that a show I find truly moving, ground breaking and hilarious isn't getting proper recognition from RUclips reviewers. And I'm really interested to hear what you would think about it. The show is Reservation Dogs, written, produced, crewed, directed and acted by Native Americans on a fictitious "reservation " in Oklahoma.
Hey, GG! I can't say I know this one, so I had to look it up. It looks like it's something I'd like, so I'll check it out. I recently watched Dark Winds, another show that it made me think of that I really enjoyed. Thanks for the heads up!
love this analysis. you could say the woods time was their outies and the "real world" is populated by their innies ;)
I was thinking exactly the same thing! There are several parallels between the two shows. Hopefully, I can entice a few new future fans lol
6:20 that is such a good point that I hadn’t thought of before, that she’s thrill seeking because she craves the consequences.
you know it’s a good day when Nautilus files puts out a video AND it’s yellowjackets related
I would you to continue with the deep dive on this show. I love it

Totally agree. Severance is just next level writing

Another excellent video, dude!
Such a timely video, I just watched the whole show a few days ago, couldn't take my eyes off it. Keep up the good work (and good taste)
Thank you, Kiani! Looking forward to season two!
Praise Keir! Loved your sign-off 😁
Hehe, I was wondering if anyone caught that!
Looking forward to your video on season 2
Another one I’m gonna hafta watch! Spoilers or not, I watch. Your videos are just that darn great! Thank you!
Thanks, Eva!💙. Oh, I hope you like it! It's probably as dark as Severance, but it ramps up way faster and the mysterious nature of the story works so well.
I really needed this

@@nautilusfiles Excellent!
I LOVE, " GLITTERBOY " ! ^..^
Didn't realize this video would take up 10 hours and 13 minutes of my time, but I'm off to binge season 1 before coming back here lol.
😁😂 Well, I hope it was worth it! It's somewhat of a sleeper hit, and for good reason.

Feels like it's been forever since that first season ended!

I haven't seen the show yet, but I trust if you made a video on it that it's good. :)
Hey Doris! It's a bit more intense than Severance, but it has a lot of similar themes now that I think of it. Hope you like it!
best show besides Severance.
So, it's actually interesting.
Nice! I wonder if you can resist the urge to binge this one. I tried... and I failed, miserably. 😂
