    Leds will turn off on black that’s why there is no backlight bleed.

    You still liking this laptop? I’m debating pulling the trigger on it.

      I am loving it. The 4080 I think is better overall "value" if that word can even be used here.

    nice machine but for me the water cooling is a gimmick, for the heat to be properly dissipated, you need at least a radiator and fan to cool down water before going back to the loop, in this laptop however, it only circles on VRM of GPU to pump then back to the loop. Dave2D tested it by unplugging the water pump and the result is insignificant vs ON.

      I'll find out soon enough in my testing. Stay tuned for my remarks and full review coming soon.

    Hi. I want to buy this. Screen is the most important thing for me actually. Did you have problems like blooming or somthing like that till now (problems mini leds actually have)? How is it compared to a oled display? I was thinking mabe i should go for a Alienware m16 an a external monitor. What do you think?

    • @techknowlux
      @techknowlux  10 месяцев назад +1

      This screen was hands down amazing. Yes there is some blooming. But mainly only when you have a small object on a completely black screen. Even then its much less than a larger Mini-LED display. In gaming there is no blooming whatsoever. M16 is a solid choice too with an external display. Depends on your use case. Love the laptop life... get the Legion 9i. Want big screen gaming, get the m16 and a big display. But keep in mind that Mini-LED and large screen sizes are very $$$.

    Should I import it from Usa to India? It will cost me around 6500$ USD. Does this laptop worth the money? My work in gaming and High end video editing

      If you're buying it for gaming first and video editing work, then yes, yes and yes!

    2023 gaming laptops seems to get quite hot
    Whatever brand it is
    Seems that more like the HX cpu cause more heat
    Wonder how good is the water cooling for that asking price

      They're all hot hot hot this year. They're (both Intel and AMD) pumping 65-75W sustained into these CPUs to get uplift in performance.

    Got mine 64gb mem 2tb drive 4090 for $3600usd

      @techknowlux  9 месяцев назад +1

      Fully loaded. Nice. That should last you 2-3 years. Who knows the RTX 5090 mobile might be way faster, or not. I guess we'll have to wait and see. The 4090 should give you some headroom thanks to DLSS3.5 and beyond + Frame Generation. Also, dropping from Epic, Badass, Ultra settings to High or even Medium should get you some longevity in the most demanding games of the next couple of years.

    I check the price in my country for this version its 6300 dollars
    Since canadian dollars to singapore dollars is 1 to 1 its slightly more expensive here
    But at this price tag number of usb ports is abit disappointing

    • @techknowlux
      @techknowlux  11 месяцев назад

      At any number of USB ports, the price is very disappointing. Lenovo seems to be trying to reach the buyers who can afford a $6000 Razer Blade 16/18 with the top-spec RTX 4090. A shame.
