Konkona's segment was BY FAR the best one! Absolutely outstanding, beautifully put together and intelligently crafted. The three women harmonized so well together that I got intrested in seeing a full feature film with all of them collaborating again!
Appreciation comment for Amruta. Whenever i used to see her in Marathi serials or theaters, I always thought she was not getting the due of her talent which she deserves. Now here she is, not just doing Hindi movies/series but she's doing good parts and nailing it!
First of all, look at Tillotamma the way she speaks eloquently. Her dictionary of words is so reach and her thought process is so clear. Intelligence oozes out. The day Indian society become body neutral and stop women worth deciding on beauty standards more avenues will open for every deserving woman. That’s why we need more directors like Konkana Sen Sharma.
So much talent in one frame! Konkona is truly a trailblazer - such a fine actor yet underrated. These three women deserve way more love and appreciation- more power to them!
It’s such a joy to watch women with intelligence & wit & rootedness discuss their rich creative lives. Discussing therapy as a practise for sanity in a confirming & otherwise shallow world around them is how real this interview could get . ❤
Love Love Love this combination. Directors- cast the trio-you cannot get actors better than this. Make a 'Jee Ley Zaraa' with these three women, and the audience will thank you. ;)
So much talent in one episode!!! It would be great to see them more often on screen. Such a relief to have them in in the industry. These three deserve so much more recognition.
I don't know about y'all but Tillotama Shome does it for me more than Tammanah and Mrunal. There's something so attractive about her but I don't know what it is.
I agree .n she would be great as posh woman who is a snob..that kind of role is just waiting to happen....I have such a feeling she will play that so well .. she is so so classy ...and enigmatic
KonKona is magical! She is just exceptional! She is so smart, well spoken, her mind is so clear , she is so emotionally insightful, aware of her surroundings, witty, charming, super diplomatic whilst getting her point across.. i just love her
Rahul Bose is much older. He maintained himself for long through sports mostly. But currently, the age difference would clearly show in a romantic pairing.
Honestly looking forward to more collaborations between these women. I was so invested in their drama in Lust Stories and frankly the only story that stood among the mediocre lot. I wish more women directors could get their share of putting their creativity out there for the world to see. I felt that the whole drama that happened in the series was happening in my own living room and felt so connected with how the maid felt when she was being watched and was able to empathize with Tilothama when she got defensive when she was outed. Felt so bad when they went different ways only to discover each other strongly after. It was quite good..
I like how good actors like these ladies never blow their own trumpet. They're always giving credit to others that allowed them to perform well onscreen.
Powerful progressive narratives …. So empowering, liberating and unshackling - but in such a gentle , nudge you along manner !!! More power to all 3 of you individually & collectively !!!
Love them all in very personal ways, unlike most other Bollywood stars. It’s like the relation we had with Irrfan Khan on screen - Konkona is a gem and i always found her tremendously beautiful on the screen. Tilottama truly was luminous in Monsoon Wedding - so lovely to hear of Mira Nair’s work. May these women stay in our lives forever
I started watching this interview and realised I had not watched the Lust Stories one, I binged on both and then came back to watch this interview. What an amazing view of all these three amazing actors! And I want to say this about Amruta Subhash that I too wondered why the maids role do our Marathi actors only get these roles😢 however the power she brings to her role..hats off Amruta Subhash!
Amazing , powerful, inspiring, incredible group of four!! Love them all.. Sneha the way you caught that butterfly analogy was so great... Pls pls show us behind the scenes the things you handle for film companion.. I'm sure you do a lot, we'd wanna know!
Such a power pact panel and that too during a movie promotion!! I love watching interviews of creatively rich people. And this one will stay with me for a long long time to come. What Tilottama said is so beautiful....she didn't realise how she gave us a peak into her vulnerable human side without caring one bit that the cameras were rolling. Love it! And wishing the team for a successful movie
I felt like these are the true women of the film industry. They are authentic instead of being synthetic. Their talks even gave an insight into how films influence society and vice versa. Much respect for these women. This was a gem load of information.
Thank you to these powerhouses for brining such soulful, sensitive and dignified performances in a country where mediocrity and pompous is celebrated often.
Konkona wasn't dependent on hindi cinema and so her roles and films in bengali cinema is a positive and helped her craft. If one just comes in the industry to fit in a mould, be part of box office hits and have longevity based on looks and connections. Then nothing will work because the focus on craft is missing and sooner the actress feels pushed into a corner because of success/failures, not benefiting from any influence and various reasons. Konkana's craft and also Tillotama has set them apart that they don't need validation or trying hard to survive in one industry.
Tilli is female Irfan Khan❤! I loved him and I adore her! In fact she herself loved his creative inputs to her in the films they worked together! So happy for her😊😊
Thank you for the striking interview. Koko pls direct more movies Tillotoma I have never seen a good actor like you. And Amruta first time I watched you and just blown away. Want this trio to make good stuff in the future.
All three of my favorite women in one interview. Such a treat to the eyes, ears, brain and soul. One thing I didn't understand Wikipedia says TS is 35 years old and she said she's in her 40s.
The general mindset is if not in your 20s, it is no more. The fact is you are at your best in your 40s. So you stop giving a penny to what others want. That is when you flourish.
Interesting to watch when Amruta is talking about 'the walk', Konkona suddenly gets restless (as she has a point to make) that she might lose her train of thought and still waits for Amruta to complete, but quickly joins in. Reminded me of a classroom discussion where one would be critiquing a piece of work and then you have to raise your hand, so that you are heard before you lose your pov on that. So endearing!
It could only come from Koko. We do not have representation in our films. Still the conventional notin of pretty fair beauty works. Thanks to Konkona and all of them, I see peole who are beautiful both inside and out!
More power to these women, love watching and hearing them, so grounded practical despite being immensely talented. Even if they are just invited once in a while to speak and share some insights, the space for dialogue and discussion would get enriched.
These ladies must read Chalam's and Ranganayakamma's telugu novels from 50's to 70s. They would know how progressive those two were 60 years ago. On Tilottama - if I have money I would make sequel to Sir, where I portray her a successful and rich but also kind person that comes across the passing love from her past.
It pains me to see such gifted, blessed, talented and nuanced people, individuals, artistes, actors like them be so deprived of meaningful work. I cannot believe or even articulate what level of deprivation it is for a person of their calibre and stature and also for us, as audiences. Maybe it has been rightly said, diamonds and pearls are often mistaken as stones and trashed until one day, the right people/ person, who are unfortunately very few and far in between, recognise them for their worth. We should feel so rich and content that people like them exist in the Indian cinema landscape and some change is getting visible from the horizon. I wish them all the best of everything to come and hope and pray, they get their due because GOD knows they deserve it. Potential and talent of their level should be celebrated everyday.
Oh hh myy goddd. Tridevi. I can totally relate to tilotima she is so talented. So naive. So intelligent and amruta too. Only konkana can do this. She is the johri who can cee the diamonds
This is what Bollywood talent should be about & look like , unfortunately that's a distant dream but I have made my peace with it & happy with whatever good content comes, although few and far between.
Konkona's segment was BY FAR the best one! Absolutely outstanding, beautifully put together and intelligently crafted. The three women harmonized so well together that I got intrested in seeing a full feature film with all of them collaborating again!
I love thé fact that there might be more Konkona x Tillotama Shome Collabs. Fingers crossed we get more of those.
Only Mahesh Babu has the magical power to awaken the most enchanting sensations within me! 💘😘🙆⚡

This interviewer really did her homework. We need more like her
Konkana is so aware and real. And painfully cute too.
Such an organic conversation. They didn't say anything for effect, it all made sense. Looking forward to everything they do. And thanks FC for this.
Love Love Love this combination. Directors- cast the trio-you cannot get actors better than this.
Make a 'Jee Ley Zaraa' with these three women, and the audience will thank you.

So much talent in one episode!!!

I'm so glad Tillotama has been able to break out of that stereotype the industry tried to box her in. She's got so much more to offer.
I remember watching an interview with Konkona where she mentioned the representation of bodies and I feel like I’ve come full circle.
Great panel. Tillotama is just so brilliant, empathetic and unique! A delight to listen to her always.
I don't know about y'all but Tillotama Shome does it for me more than Tammanah and Mrunal. There's something so attractive about her but I don't know what it is.

I don't understand till date why Kankana Sen Sharma and Rahul Bose duo never used by Directors to the fullest. What a pair they were.
Rahul Bose is much older. He maintained himself for long through sports mostly. But currently, the age difference would clearly show in a romantic pairing.

Actresses like them not getting enough work is very very problematic.. such an enriching interview ❤
Amruta Subhash is forever Nirmala for me, she was so good in it!
How beautifully Tillotama talks! All of them are beautiful, talented, well-spoken and intelligent women, including the interviewer :)
nicely worded Tilly, “ I had figured out my melatonin intake from other things”❤
Tillotama is such a good actor....her out brust scene is just amazing ....the best short film by far in lust stories 2
I like how good actors like these ladies never blow their own trumpet. They're always giving credit to others that allowed them to perform well onscreen.

I can listen to Konkona talk forever ❤
I’m so excited to see her segment in ‘Lust Stories’. 👏🏽
i loved how natural they kept amrutha as a maid. and tilly too had very little make up ❤loved the naturalness of the scenes
Love the rubber plants in the interview set and its reference to the film ...
Tillotama talking about Jane Austen is just....... chef's kiss

Can't wait to watch Lust Stories 2. Such a talented trio of strong, independent, and authentic story-tellers. We need to see more from all 3 of them.
Love Love Konkana Sen!❤. Looking forward to seeing her acting more and her interviews. The other 2 actresses absolutely brilliant!
Tillotama 2 releases in 1 day! Both amazing. This and night manager!
❤❤ the Last five minutes of Tilottama’s were absolute gem
Kudos to all the ladies here.

The empathy of the interviewer is commendable!

TS is 44, her wiki is wrong
What an outstanding nicely flowing n intelligent interview this one is!!
Some of y’all need to watch Koko & Tilly in Nayantara’s Necklace too!
अमृता सुभाष मला तुझा अभिमान वाटतो. The way you present yourself nowdays in interview among these other people.
SAMRUDHA.
Amruta coined exact word *WALK* .That describes the gist of the Lust story 2 2nd episode. Beautiful talk it was!!
Wow all three are my most favourite ❤️ the wisdom and vibes they give
3 supremely talented and beautiful women who are masters of their craft.
Konkona Sen Sharma ♥️
Sheer joy to listen to these gorgeously brilliant women
Brilliant work by konkona sen in lust stories 2. She is the daughter of legendary Aparna Sen. ❤❤

This is what happens when strong, independent and resilient women choose to create something together and have negligible male interference.

Just love konkona man. Awesomeness❤
